Toy 2 Yummy

The bottle and the ridiculous name made it a bit hard for me to take this one seriously, but I’m really glad I tried it. Toy 2 Yummy is by far Moschino’s best release since the original Toy Boy. This is a fantastic citrus scent. The opening hits pretty hard, cooling, fresh and lemon forward, with frankincense playing a brief supporting role, rounding it out a bit, and I definitely get a slight kick of black pepper. The note breakdown says there’s rose and I definitely get a bit of that Toy Boy DNA, but it seems like the rose was replaced with geranium which comes off as slightly green and minty. The drydown is a bit more creamy, but it also has an interesting chalky quality and it remains bright, crisp, weightless throughout the entire wear experience. Speaking of which, it’s satisfyingly long lasting and has really good projection for a citrus scent, without coming off as overly synthetic, forceful or invasive. This is so good, I’d go as far as saying that this stuff is actually quite comparable to more expensive citrus scents from Guerlain and Aqua Di Parma. It actually reminds me of a more lemony, slightly spicier Mandarino Di Sicilia, which happens to be one of my all time favorites.

I usually hate when people resort to calling citrus scents “cleaning product” but here I fear it is appropriate. Whether or not that’s a bad thing is personal interpretation, I think it works well. Some people who have smelled it on me thought it smelled like clean laundry, to me it’s very citrus (caps lock exclamation point). True lemon with the peel and a tinge of chemical freshness. Nice to wear on days where you want everyone to know you just vacuumed and had an elaborate shower. Would be interesting to layer with scents where the lack of citrus disappoints. Of course the bottle is also a fun thing to see every day on a shelf or by the bathroom mirror, lovely optimistic summer scent! Reminds me of the windows hill background from the family computer. I regret not buying this at the tax free lol

Tried this at Heathrow Terminal 5. It’s a good title - it’s quite Yummy 😄 Seriously, it’s very fresh and lively, lots of oily orange zest, and from what I can recall, some rose. I made my mind up to buy it next trip through T5, but now am somewhat regretting not having it to hand right now. I’m impatient and don’t want to wait the couple of weeks before my next flight 😁 Very interesting and a good direction to go in for the Toy 2 line. Although Fragrantica says this is for women, I didn’t feel that I was trying a perfume targeted specifically at women. It seemed to be at least unisex. But then, I didn’t give it time on my skin.

Un gran perfume y huele mucho mejor su lo usas con su hermano gummy que da un dolor dulce y agradable una gran experiencia olfativa y que no se compara con algún otro de la linea toy boy ideal para ambos géneros aún que marquen que es de mujer queda excelente para hombres como para mujeres muy muy agradable la verdad a dónde llegues siempre resaltará ese aroma con tan solo un gatillazo de la fragancia

I love the Teddys, finally something colorful layer Yummy & Gummy & it’s Magic ✨🪄✨ Very Citrusy, clean & smooth. It puts me in a good Mood. The Flacon is so cute, I love the Colors. PS. It’s smells nothing like Toy 2 Pearl, or the other Toy 2s!!! I’m getting a little Hint of Natsumi 🎋🍃

I would say this is not a women scent. It is unisex, yes. But it leans towards masculine. Bright citruses on the first spray. As it dries down, you can smell the floral notes mixing with the citruses and it's very a pleasant scent. Longevity is not the best tho.....

is it just me who smells mint? i LOVE this, and i dont really usually appeal to citrusy perfumes, but this literally reminds me of lemon and mint boiled sweets even though i dont own this, i would happily buy if i had the budget

I'm in love with this scent! It smells like a lemon bar soap. Fresh showered skin that lasts for about 3-4 hours! Amazing clean scent!

Love! Love! Love! Great for a hot summer weather. Adore the composition and packaging. Unexpected buy, all the more sweet.

There are waxy, pleasantly tart nuances of the peel, the gentle bitterness of the albedo, and a freshness mellowed by a soupçon of the pulp's delicate sweetness. Timur pepper adds pungent, grapefruit-like astringency, while the remaining notes stay in the background, refining the composition and making it gentler and more rounded. The citrus notes remain present throughout, though as the fragrance unfolds they become softer and smoother without ever losing their vibrant character. This is a fragrance that magnificently embodies the joy of summer: fresh, energetic, and effortlessly uplifting. Longevity is very good, as is the projection, which is especially strong in the opening. The flacon is pure optimism and joie de vivre.

This perfume is beautiful. It's the kind of scent you've probably smelled before in a high-end spa or luxury bath product. It's completely unisex. It opens with a very citrusy freshness that stays with you for quite a while. I'd describe it as a clean, woody fragrance, and even though there aren't any woods listed in the notes, I think that's due to the vetiver. I don't own a bottle and I'm only reviewing it based on testing it, but the projection is excellent. Even after 4 hours, in 28°C weather, I could still smell it in the air around me. It's fresh, elegant, and very easy to wear. Note: It doesn't smell anything like DKNY Women (my signature fragrance) or Toy 2, despite some comparisons I've seen.

Wow, this is vivid! So citrusy. Citrus overload but still appetizing. When it dries down I start to catch a swimming pool note, but just a drop. That moves it a wee bit closer to unisex creation but in my opinion this is feminine. I think it is the geranium that gives it an edge. Very shocking. Like those shockingly sour sweets that usually turn sweet inside. Well, this is not sweet, it stays citrusy but turns more herbal. Great!

Reminds me a little of toy boy, this is what I expected toy boy 2 to be, it loses the fruityness and trades it for more citrus with musk, I really enjoy toy boy's pear note but this one's spices and aromatics are more balanced and harmonious (if maybe a little more uninteresting) I'd say it's a safer blind buy than toy boy if you like citrus, musk and spices/aromatics

I only tried this on a swab in a store. The smells was intense lemon peel, and just lemon peel, very fresh. I kept the tester swab, and around 5 hours later it smells like soap, slightly citrussy soap. But this perfume impressed me, ive never smellt such a clear lemon peel scent in my life.

It’s a sweet and kinda powerful orange forward cologne style. Unisex and surprisingly decent. Did not expect this to be anything like this. Orange scents can pull a bit latex on me but this stays sweet, I like it.

This smells OK. Not bad, not overly synthetic or super cheap smelling, but just OK. It does have more than a hint of 'cleaning product' energy, and I'm not one who usually says that about citruses the way others tend to. Someone below said "antibacterial wipes" and honestly... yeah. Antibacterial wipes without the strong and jagged edges of the cleaning chemical ingredients. Wipes-ish... room spray-like... a little handwash-y. You can probably find something that smells just like this for a quarter of the price. Sometimes, when it comes to simple citrus, what you're paying for is quality of ingredients and the quality of the blend, in the hopes that 'lemon' or 'mandarin' doesn't come across too cheap or like cleaning products. This doesn't do a good enough job of that to justify what it costs. There will soon be, if there isn't already, a clone, or just a cheapie somewhere out there that smells exactly like this but costs half the price. Get that instead.

The soapy scent is really overpowering at first but it dries down. It still has the strong soapy smell but you can actually smell the other notes. It's not my vibe but it wasn't bad.

Incredibly citrus and a little bit sweet. If you'd have told me the only note in this was lemongrass, I'd have believed you. A nice fresh scent with a smidgen of green, cutesy!

Very sharp citrus but like with most of the other Toy editions, it is a collectible bottle. The drydown softens and is quite comforting.

On my skin, all I could smell is like lemonade with lemon seeds in it, and the feeling when you accidentally chew on one of those seeds. From the very first spray till the drydown, lime, lemon, lemonade without sugar, that's all.
