Libra

Just a few months ago I ignored everything about perfumes. I turned into a 40 year heterosexual man raised in the countryside transformed into a city lawyer, with no exposure to anything remotely close to perfumery. Then, I approached en expert and paid for an educational experience about perfumes in order to choose one (only one) masculine scent to wear for an entire decade. Although I ́ve chose nanother perfume as a signature, I betrayed my frugal way of living and succumbed to acquire also 3 bottles of Libra from Moset. This is my attempt to explain why... I am hardwired to invest into things that age well. Only 100 bottles of this superb work of chemistry (and art) were produced. If the latin word “Libra” was used by the brilliant romans to name measuring scales, then the perfumist behind this scent achieved something equally brilliant: to trap inside a bottle the proverbial genie that anyone with a love for the ocean and a desire for a balanced life wishes as a companion. In my humble opinion, this acquatic symphony allows for an experience that evokes the following: First, the refreshing splash of a vibrant sea wave in full summer (The “surprise element” of such event of nature is achieved outstandingly). Then, gentle and silky seaweeds blend into a core note of tender masculine leather. Finally, after an entire day at the beach, the endorphines of joyful sweat drops and dry sea salt on tanned skin, invite for something intimate, quiet and cuddly. How can a perfumist keep a sensory experience like this inside a bottle? Well... I bought 3 of these bottles for my next decade of summers at the beach. Great gratitude to the perfumist who crafted this fragrance and to the expert that opened this rich world of beauty to me.
