Dreamers

My favorite post-shower perfume. Aldehydic powder bomb with a lovely edge thanks to the myrrh, patch & incense. A classic set of notes with a modern approach. The film itself (Dreamers) has been on my watchlist forever, but I've read that this more than likely was originally The Virgins, and this scent really does capture that hazy, moody Coppola vibe. LOVE

Loveee this. Really does smell like a teenage girls bathroom in 1960. Floral, powdery, a little detergenty. The rose comes through strongly for me especially when it’s first sprayed.

This perfume is in one line with Glossier You, Byredo Blance, Room 1015 Sonic Flower, and Irresistible Nude Velvet by Givenchy...but more interesting because more notes,

I wanted a perfume that reminded me of all the times I opened my drawer with makeup (with expired makeup too) and the powdery lipsticky scent hitting me hard to the point where I had to cough. Is this fragrance powdery like that, yes it is. I just can't see myself wearing this on an everyday basis and have instead started to use it as a bedtime scent. I can't wear this in the daytime. It feels cozy and innocent with a hint of something dusty in the back, dare I say, something eerie as well. Powdery to the oblivion, doll-like and just the right amount of sweetness.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is the same perfume as "the virgins"/"the virgin suicides". If so it would explain why "the virgins" is really hard to find nowadays. If they are the same, please try this perfume. It is a gorgeous take on melancholic iris. With a whiff of old bookstore.
