Temptation

#37 on my Fragrance Review Journey I started my Moudon journey with Vevey. My next purchase was Wisdom, which I reviewed in #36. Today's review is on Temptation which I have recently acquired. In simple terms, this is a long-lasting and well blended fragrance in the Aventus DNA family. It definitely smells like it and other interpretations like, Hacivat. I respect everyone's nose, so everyone will have a different experience. I saw a comparison to Vibrato. After near finishing a bottle of it recently, I don't see the similarities. This is a versatile, year-round scent that can be worn in many scenarios. You will get 8-10 hours of performance (maybe more with your body chem) with a few hours of nice projection. Moudon has wonderful atomizers. Some of the best I've seen. I got this fragrance for $45 bucks. Most of their fragrances are under $50.00 on discounters like, FragranceNet. This is a steal at this price for such quality. I consider this another blind-buy success. 9/10.

This is my 6th to try from Moudon and based on the sample, this is a must own for me. This is a fragrance that is built around Creed Aventus' dna but on steroids with a touch of Thomas Kosmala No4. The opening is a touch more bright and fruity with bergamot and apple boosted, hanging around much longer than Aventus. And a touch more floral. The orange blossom is a nice touch. This house does amazing things with fruits/citrus' and florals - See Moudon's Elegant. Again it performs much better than modern Aventus. It projects better and lasts longer. Which I notice is a trend with these Moudon fragrances. They all last a little bit longer than I thought they were capable of. I am a big fan of what this house is doing. All quality!

I received this as a “free” sample when I purchased babycat. I sprayed this and was in heaven. I wanted a full bottle immediately. I saw the price at one time was under $40. So I didn’t want to pay $150. I sprayed it on again and still loved the opening. Very unique. But this time l let it sit. After an hour, it smelled like something else. I was thinking azzuro the most wanted. But I was wrong. Then I sprayed le nuit de l’homme eau de parfume. The dry down smells very similar. I feel like Temptation is a better performer. I only have the 10ml for le nuit, so I can see myself buying a full bottle of temptation.

This is absolutely Hacivat over Aventus to my nose with the strong oak moss. For £55 it’s a bargain and makes my 50ml of Hacivat pretty much redundant. One test spray on my hand has filled my car too, you can see the oil shining so it’s concentrated stuff! If you want this type of DNA buy it now

Beautiful packaging/box. Atomiser is really great, nice bottle. Hyper zesty opening, with some florals. Classic woody/musk drydown, similar to other Aventus clones with more emphasis on the musk. It's not similar to Hacivat. Performance is insane.
