Alien We Are All Alien Collector Edition

The bottle is gorgeous.. mine leaned orange on the top left and green on the top right, pink and red in the middle and blue on the bottom left and purple on the bottom right.. and this shines when the light is on the bottle and you move it around you can see different aspects of the colors that change like you would a diamond in light..it's pretty kool..and when you put your hands behind the bottle the colors come out darker and you can really see all the colors so this one works with the light to see all aspects of it's dimensions..so in my bottle all the colors are there..very pretty in person like a rainbow diamond and it's refillable..this smells lighter than Alien Essence Absolue so I actually prefer that to this and it lasts longer with this one lasting on me about 4 1/2 hours on my skin with a sillage i could smell..but I love the fragrance still and I had to spray a lot of it all over..but when I did it was pure joy..it has the sharp nice jasmine note mixed with woody notes and a slight freshness through out the whole fragrance but as it dries down it begins to shift into this beautiful orange blossom and vanilla.. but what I love about this is this is really a white floral with vanilla on the dry down where as Alien Absolute is more a amber vanilla on the base..I love the base on this a lot more than expected and equally love them the same now..Alien We Are All Alien is very hard to get anymore since it only came out on Black Friday and never will be sold again...it was a collectors edition..I'm happy to have it in my collection..

Okay, the bottle is awesome. Mine is mostly pink in the middle with a gradient to purple and blue at the top and orange and green at the bottom. It's so woody at first, I wasn't sure I would like it but after settling in for a half hour, the other notes begin to come through and it turns into something beautiful. The jasmine, amber and a touch of orange and vanilla begin to take form. It's still woody, earthy and sexy, and has an almost unisex vibe to it close to the skin. I feel like when you smell it right at your skin it's not as good as when you just catch the scent as you move. There's like this aura of sweet deliciousness around you that isn't quite the same if you sniff directly at the spot you sprayed it. To properly test it don't just spray it on a wrist. You need to fully spray it on and then let it settle and develop, then judge it as a whole and all around you. It's not like anything else I have in my collection. I think this is one of those perfumes you have to evolve to. A few years ago, I probably would have passed on it but once you've been through all the common scents and you're looking for something unique, you begin to open your mind to and appreciate fragrances like Alien.

Just adding this Review to highlight the beauty and edge this bottle is and was at the time, I will forever miss when Mugler would attach the bottom gold clasp under the Alien text. Without its addition it feels flat and one dimensional, it almost looks like the clasps that will hold diamond onto earring posts. And don't even get me started on how gorgeous the rainbow effect of this model is in the sun, I really miss when Mugler would all out and make the packaging just as wonderful as the juice.

I have been looking for this colourful Alien bottle for 4 years, but every time I tried to buy it online, it was out of stock. Earlier this year, I went on a trip to Egypt and found an old dusty box of this at the airport in Alexandria. There was only one left, hidden behind some bottles of Angel. I jumped with joy. This is a slightly fresher version of the original Alien, and so I wear it in the warmer months and save the original for the winter.

Just more Alien. Beautiful bottle obviously, but it's not really different from alien. Maybe a bit woodier, but it's just Alien. I love it, but it's not different enough to be a love.

Turns out the scent is so strong I go noseblind shortly after applying it, making sillage and longevity hard to test. Keep that in mind if you say it is weak.

My bottle's box says right on the from that the bottle is unique and not two bottles are the same. Mine is mostly fuchsia pink with red, and just a hint of green at the bottom, and a little purple blue near the top. It's beautiful, very vibrant, but somehow I wish I had all the colors. Now for the smell. This is edp. I don't have the original Alien, I don't know if it's the same or not. It smells like a strong jasmine mixed with amber and cigarettes, not like smoke but like the actual tobacco. It's strong in the beginning but settles down after an hour or two. It smells weird and sensual, there is nothing from the natural green, fresh, and indolic scent a real jasmine has. This is jasmine that has been chemically created, and mixed with a chemical amber, a woody smell and a hint of vanilla. It is beautiful and strange. I am not sure it's a crowd pleaser, but surely an attention getter. I have to be in the mood to wear it, and only works when I feel really confident. I wore it once and it needs to go. A full 60ml bottles for swap, it's far too strong for my taste.

I believe in color therapy. Essential to find harmony and balance of the spirit, as well as of the body. The hypothesis of how chromotherapy is effective is inconsistent, since there is no scientific evidence to support this. However, the beneficial effects of this elixir on my person are so many, and real. I spray a little drop in my forearm hollow when I'm a bit blue, when thoughts take over. I let myself be carried away by the enchanting wake, I get lost in the colors of this amazing talisman that it is, useful bright and shining launch pads for easily reaching everywhere. I temporarily cure any dullest pain, I feel better. And mainly I smell beautifully of jasmine.

For me, it smells almost identical to the original, but this one has a kind of new and fresh scent to it. The jasmine is always present, but I feel like it’s fresher. Honestly, I feel like the bottle concept is burned out🫩, way too many flankers now. but I absolutely love the colors. On me, the perfume doesn't last at all. They say the original Alien back in the day was a beast in terms of longevity, there’s none of that left now. Mugler used to be strange even in that, in their longevity, where not just anyone dared to buy them. You had to be a serious fan of their style. God, I miss that Mugler! I blind bought it and it is on the way. And today I had a chance to test it in the shop. It is more delicate than original Alien. Projection is not strong either. But very pleasant and wearable. Nothing really WOW, but nothing bad either. but bottle is amazing.

This rating is mostly for the stunning bottle, I can agree, amazing for collectors but when it comes about the juice is even worst than an EDT, such a pity.. watered Alien in unique package.

I was thrilled to get a bottle of this on clearance at Sephora! it was in stock for less than one day. I really wanted to try the scent, the price and the pretty limited edition bottle was worth it. I didn’t think I would like this one and was ok with that because I just wanted the bottle for display. but I like the scent, it’s strong, clean to me, projects well, and my husband likes it. he smelled it and said “it smells like soap, like a nice soap” and I have to agree. I was hoping to get more amber but jasmine really takes over on my skin. I thought it would be a polarizing love or hate scent, but it’s neither a love or hate for me. overall happy with the scent, but I’m not really wowed by it like I thought I would be. but I’m more happy with the bottle. which is mostly red/orange at the top with purple at the bottom with a touch of green and blue.

This has been re-released with a new box. I don't know if they will release this collectors bottle only for Black Friday's but if that is the case snag yours now while you can because last year they sold this for one day and it was sold out after that and each bottle is unique. No one will have the bottle you have. The scent is partially the same scent as the original Alien but half of what it use to be. Performance is different about 4 hours. This is a great collectors edition. So much prettier in person. Update: It's been confirmed in fragcomm L'Oreal is reformulating all Mugler's so get as much vintage as you can!!

Mine’s not a review, i don’t own this version of Alien, but i was thinking that: as all the bottles should be different from each others, and as Fragrantica allows us to share pictures, it would be very nice to see your pictures!! I would really like to see the different colors bottles!

I love the original Alien so I purchased this in 2015 and stumbled across the sealed box. I’ve actually never opened it and now I’m curious about what my bottle may look like and also I don’t want to ruin the box by opening it so I’m in a overthinking doom spiral. What should I do?

This is not weaker or watered down. Slightly more woody. If you like essence absolue you will adore this. The edt smells much more of citrus. Oh you silly fragrantica people trying to make others think this is weak, go join Eddie bulliqi in his reviews he will welcome you

I love Alien, but for some reason this is a weaker version of Alien ( gimme all the indolic woodsy Jasmin) smells very much alike, but it is definitely weaker, I only get about 3 hours out of it which is a shame...the bottle is so beautiful!

This is the Alien version I have and honestly I don't see any difference between this one and the original, even if the notes listed are different. I love it as much as the purple bottle ❤

I know I constantly talk about my squirrel brain in many comments but right now it’s screaming at me that I need this beautiful bottle in my life. Sigh..
