Heal Your Mind

The first warm day of spring, fresh air and the sounds of life surround you. She's by your side holding on but almost in a skip. You both have coffee, it mingles with rich lavender and her faint cigarette smoke. There's nothing that needs to be said, done or proven, you are alive and it's a miracle. You embrace, the salty ambergris seems to envelop you both in a fraction of that unique moment of quiet intimacy outside that café. She's gone now, but the fragrance and memories decided to stay.

A solid 9. Fresh, clean & unique. Maybe it can't heal your mind, but at least, everything in life seem to be "brighter" whenever you spray this scent on your skin.

This is basically 2 notes, a very natural lavender and ambergris. The ambergris has this salty oceanicness to it that leans a little animalic like the ocean but not fishy in anyway. It's very nice for hot days but you have to love lavender though. Edit: after about an hour it has dried down and smelled identical to Versace pour homme now, it's crazy because at first it was all lavender.

It started with the same structure as in Come Together (never smelled OG Cologne so can't comment), bitter lavender and petitgrain with a soapy musky base, but the addition of a mineral note to the tart bergamot note makes it too sharp on my skin. I don't dislike this cologne, but the additional twist doesn't make me like it better either, so why don't I just buy another bottle of Come Together (which I like much better)? The drydown smells almost the same as Love You All, except that it has an aquatic quality and performs better than the latter. Wouldn't mind to purchase a 10ml spray if I see it on sale elsewhere, but I probably wouldn't buy a full bottle even if it's 50% off for now. If you already own Love You All and/or Come Together, you don't really need this.

Probably the weakest cologne in the whole line. Heal your mind is very soft, a water down lavender with an almost imperceptible musk. I can’t detect any ambergris. Perfect for the office, you won’t find a simpler and inoffensive fragrance than this cologne. Last for about 7hours+, although it turns into a skin scent quickly. The dry down is lovely, a soft and clean mix of lavender and musk.

i had such high hopes for this and, ugh, i had to scrub it off. i didn't get lavender, or ambergris. what i got reminded me of a Gap perfume from the early 90s. the blue one. a girl who lived in my college dorm wore it, and it gave me such a headache. this seems more along the lines of those "aqua" or "sport" scents. they all seem to have a soapy/astringent feel.

Garbage. What is Mugler doing? At this point just putting out a lot of garbage perfumes. This one never should have made it to the stores. I’d be embarrassed to associate my name to this own. Lol

With all these poor reviews, I was expecting something bland and boring. The awkward naming of this scent does not help. However, Heal Your Mind has a similar shock factor as Womanity. I get a comparable sharp mineral oceanic accord, but here it is devoid of the support of sweet fruity fig. Instead, there is a very sharp, herbal lavender, along the lines of lavender essential oil. I agree that Heal Your Mind has an astringency to it. The overall scent hits the back of your nasal cavity almost like wasabi does. I smell no ambergris at all, not even any of the standard aromachemical bases that fall underneath it. Heal Your Mind strikes me as a masculine counterpoint to Womanity, as the lavender and absence of sweetness or musk makes it smell less feminine. I suppose that makes it... Manity? Manatee? Heal Your Mind is far from my favorite Mugler but it still has that Mugler weirdness and it is not as awful as the reviews make it seem.

Citrus_Addicted below nailed this fragrance.This smells like fresh invigorating ice cold oceanic air with it's dew condensation on a nearby field of lavender flowers. Other times it does smell like old school classic Lavender Barbasol Shaving cream, the foamy kind not the gel. Now here's the kicker, it smells terrible during warm summer weather but it smells incredible during cold winter weather. I have a feeling that the people that tried this and hated it, tried it during the wrong weather for this fragrance. On another Note, I'm so sad Thierry Mugler died and now his company discontinued 99% of all his incredible fragrances we have come to know and enjoy over the past 30 years!

For a perfume with only 2 notes, it smells damn good ❤️ So, this perfume has two kinds of openings on me: 1. It smells like an icy ocean. So aquatic, slightly salty with lots of air and some white rocks dried by the breeze. 2. Smells like shaving cream. Pungent aromatic lavender with some soft amber and a watery aspect. The longevity and projection are great. P.S.: I love it in the cold weather. It smells so good on rainy or windy days! Despite my high expectations, summer is not the best time for this fragrance. It smells rather sharp and unpleasant in the warm weather. P.S.2: It reminds me a little of Sailing Day by Maison Martin Margiela.

I picked up a bottle of this on sale in TkMaxx and it’s a nice lavender scent. to me it’s underwhelming but my family members love it so idk. i mostly use it as an air freshener if i’m honest. Heal your Mind is kind of dated but still fresh and a generic “nice” smell. that’s literally the only descriptive word for this, “nice”. not great. it’s severely lacking depth and feels unfinished. maybe if it was layered with another perfume i’d like it better but for now it’s reserved to freshen up my pillow cases between washes.

Just 2 notes listed but there are more. Lavender, some citrus and amber that has something physiological and marine feel in it. Smells cheap tho like some chemicals for shaving or home-cleaning. If you can get it very cheap it might be nice to put it in rest room or something. Longevity and projection are good. Miss good, old, classic Mugler Cologne :(

This has three distinct stages on my skin. It starts off smelling like a masculine, classic, sharp lavender cologne and then transitions into a more unisex and not-as-sweet Yardley Lavender. Calming and subtle. Then it ends up smelling like CK2! Hot rain on cold pebbles. A pebble beach!

There is no lavender. Seems fresh and nice at blotter but on my skin did open with something muggy, no, thanks.
