Afdak

First of all, the fragrance notes for this perfume are not exactly correct. These are the real notes taken from Nabeel's website: Top Notes : Thyme, Saffron, Raspberry. Middle Notes : Oliban, Night Blooming Jasmine. Base Notes : Leather, Black Suede, Wood Amber Olfactive Families : Woody-Oriental. Afdak is a beautiful, rich and maybe a softer version of Tom Ford Tuscan Leather. The notes are very well blended but I can easily detect the raspberry at the opening and the beautiful leather note all the time. Although I have no samples of TFTL at this moment, I've smelled it before and I think they are very similar. I have a decant of Rasasi's La Yukawam and I've tried both side by side. IMHO Nabeel's Afdak is better than Rasasi's. Longevity and sillage are more than average, in my skin it lasts and projects for 10-12 hours. This oil is high quality, it smells sensual, expensive, natural, not synthetic. The best part is the price, it's TFTL for a fraction of the price. Unbeatable!!! Edit: This attar is really long lasting (24+ hrs). Even if you take a shower, you can smell close to the skin the beautiful smoky leathery drydown. Awesome!!!

This is a dead ringer for Godolphin which is one of my favorites, I stocked up on this oil which is now discontinued, much more budget friendly and exquisite quality. It's got a fruity berry top note that co-exists with the most intriguing suede-ish saffron, and a cutting herbal note I've never been able to put my finger on but believe is mace.

Oh my wow, as soon as I opened up the bottle, I could tell this was a premium, quality fragrance! Very sophisticated scent, starts off with some floral and fruit, with a hint of leather, then as the oil warms on your skin, becomes a rich leather drydown. If you like leather scents, then pick this up, the price is right too.
