Dan Dana

Dan Dana is a fragrance from the Arab brand Nabeel, the economical line: it opens with delicate Mediterranean, citrus notes of bergamot and grapefruit, a floral breath of clean and clear lavender suffused in decisive aromatic and lively notes of juniper berries. The heart of the fragrance is exquisitely Arabic, an intense oud immersed in a woody and spicy mix. Cedar wood, violet leaves and leather then blend with a base of musk, guaiac wood, tonka bean and raspberry. Undoubtedly a cheap fragrance, therefore particularly chemical and artificial, given the democratic price it is an olfactory experience within everyone's reach.

if i was a woodland nymph this is what my skin would smell like after laying in the sun. my nose isn't practiced enough to pick out anything in particular, but i get nothing sweetish at all though a few berries are listed in the notes and anything floral is crisp. quiet nice for spring, summer and even fall. leans masculin even for unisex. i like it. if you have any fragrances that are a little too "dense" with florals or vanilla this would brighten it up if layered. I paid $16 for it on Al- Rashad.

Very interesting discovery. I blind bought it. It's spicy and reminds me faintly of Lalique Encre Noir in the dry down, but with citrus intermixing. The top notes are well blended, but you definitely smell the lavender which makes it lean a bit masculine at the initial spray, but then you have a dry sort of sweetness that comes in. In my case, it just made me come back to keep smelling it. Not a safe blind bought, but a fun one to discover.
