The fragrance of Omumgorwa Walnut was created in 2015 in two versions, but this time they were not separated by genres, but by occasions of use: one for the day and one for the night. Both were designed as unisex and are part of the collection called Ecosystems - Sahara & Arabia Deserts and portray the nomadic spirit of those who start the day in one place and end in another. The creative concept attempts to portray the festivities of the palaces scattered throughout the Arabian Desert, the numerous spices, incenses, dances, and breathtaking sunrise. The Omumgorwa Walnut Day fragrance features notes of Namibian rare resins (Omumgorwa and Omumbiri), a floral accord with lily, ambrette and Champaca, noble woods, coffee, and spices, as well as indigenous oils (Ximenia and Sapote). For those who do not know some of these ingredients, here are brief explanations: the Omumgorwa is a resin that only forms after a species of the tree dies naturally (hence the importance of sustainable harvesting). In this fragrance, it is still more intoxicating than in Camino de Azahar Oro Man, although both follow an intertwined olfactory path full of facets that praise the perfumes of the Middle East. In this daytime version, the balance comes from the citric content of the Omumbiri Resin, which smells like fresh incense, burning in the background and exhaling through all evolution. The projection is high in the first hour and then the fragrance calms. In terms of durability, it passes six hours on my skin, easily. Without a doubt, a perfume for those who enjoy the mystery of the Arab world and the smell of incenses.
