Ralli

It is beautiful oriental fragrance that does not fit well or somehow reflects Scandinavian character in my opinion, however, it is very pleasant. It opens with a scarlet velvet oily rose with milky facets of sandalwood, dries down with a combination of rose, patchouli and oud. The composition is made very well and lasted on the skin for more than 12 hours. The creaters associate this fragrance with travels in the eastern deserts, rally races and finnish rally racers.

Oh the oriental dream this is! Nakuna Helsinki is a Helsinki based finnish brand - first of all give me everything that is scandinavian! I honestly think the mindset and the livelihood of scandinavian people are out of this world. I just find the countries, the people, the mood and the style so everlastingly gorgeous and so uplifting and refreshing. This fragrance speaks volumes to that. Ralli is an homage to ralli riders of the past who are courageous, brave and who have left a mark on the country’s story and traditions. Ralli is an oriental mix; rose mixes with sandalwood and patchouli on a bed of precious oud, musk and amber. The definitive rose-oud combo is prominent, however with this one, on my skin I get such a lovely sweet drydown. Usually in my experience the rose and oud combinations tend to be a bit harsh and piercing, but not this one. This one is gorgeously floral and the sweet elements come to play after a little while. And its pink! ♥️

I bought a sample kit including all 5 Nakuna fragrances. This one is something I’d call outrageous. It’s kind of arrogant and bold. I admire Ralli and probably those who have guts to wear it. Ralli smells like heat, gasoline and sweat. There are hues of metal and tyre rubber. And after all those masculine scents there are something very fresh and maybe even flourish odour when you really concentrate and explore. After hours Ralli keeps on speeding. Defenately not the fragrance for me but certainly the most interesting scent of all Nakunas.

Crap. Synthetic, lazy, uninspired, chemical, harsh, samey, "oudy" (no oud). Simple minds (or noses) are usually pleased with simple stuff.
