Colors of Nanette

I’ve never heard of this brand, nor of any of the fragrances out out by them, but today I found this at SDM for $19.99 for 100ml so I came on here read the notes and jumped on it blind buy and so glad I did. It’s very Apple like-DKNY be delicious is a very close dupe. It’s so close to it which is great because I love that one too! So glad I found this! Great buy!

Holy cow. This smells just like the retired scent for BBW Pearberry. I used to be obsessed with this scent. I had all the different items the scent came in. Wow it smells so good. Now I gotta hunt some down....or just buy this perfume instead. Haha

I purchased the 3.4 oz bottle of Colors of Nanette at Marshalls not knowing what to expect as it wasn't listed in Fragrantica's database at the time. I strongly smell the pear note as well as some melon which I really like. I found elsewhere that the fragrance consists of notes of melons, jasmine, peaches, roses, and violets. I really smell the jasmine and perhaps some powdery violet but mostly it's a tartness along with some fruity notes. Freesia is not listed as a note but I do smell something like it here, along the lines of Selena Gomez original scent (which I love) but CoN is more on the sour, tart side. Hard to describe this unique scent. Fairly light scent. I can barely smell it after wearing it for 3 hours. It would be a good one for hot summer weather, casual settings, the beach. It was not an expensive purchase and I am glad that I didn't spend a lot of money on it either, $12.99 for a 3.4 oz bottle is about right. PS: My husband really liked this, he rarely comments on my fragrances but he said that I smelled sweet and clean.

This was a pleasant blind buy! It was about 12.99 and I wasnt expecting too much because I purchased this from Marshalls one day when they didn't have much of a selection. Its not an exact dupe of DKNY Be Delicious or BBW Beautiful Day but it is very close. It starts out with that similar juicy green apple shampoo vibe and settles into a soft floral. I spray this one when I don't feel like using up my Be Delicious. I haven't seen any other products from this house but I am definitely curious now!

This one is quite nice in the summer. It's a light and fresh fruity floral. It's not unique or a stand out in any way. But it's a nice feminine clean fresh scent that will work great for summer days in particular.

Blind buy, although I have worn other scents by this designer. It seems this is another very basic light scent, fruity but not sweet at all, I smell apple and watermelon and dry down is a very light faint jasmine /cucumber. It's a perfect pick me up scent for warm work days as it is a bit tart as another mentioned on this site. It's very basic but quite nice for everyday wear in the heat. A great buy if you can find it at a discount clothing store, reminds me of all the old scents the Gap and other brand stores would come out with for the spring summer seasons.

This smells like what I imagine foam soap would smell like. It's not a good one on my skin.

So glad this was added to the database, I've been waiting. I blind bought this a few months ago and wasn't sure what to expect. When I sprayed it, it seemed floral heavy but in a fun way. So, I wondered was it a bit too playful for a grown adult and I decided no it's not because we all need those scents some days that are not so serious, refined, or even elegant. Now don't get me wrong, this is not super juvenile but it just has a not so serious vibe, it's playful, the florals are beautiful and I just like it. I was actually searching for a backup bottle for a while. My search yielded a lotion and travel spray but not another full bottle. It's ok though, I'm enjoying the bottle I have very much. If looking for a playful floral I'd suggest this highly. Longevity is not that great to be honest but spraying a few extra sprays helps some. I like it a lot!!
