Musc Grenat

Nice fragrance this... It's definitely unisex, men can rock this easily. This is for Cold days/nights, formal attire party or a date night type scent.

This is really nice and very balanced, The leather and saffron notes are soft, blended nicely with the musk, rose, vanilla and sandalwood that is giving it a smooth feeling in the dry down. But don't judge it from the opening as it might be strong for some people, just give it some time to settle because it shines in the dry down.

A very formal scent not meant for sulking boys but battle hardened men

A reminiscent of 2000's chypre feels like a fresh breathe of air in the vanilla gourmand era ! Its complex and developed beautifully throughout top and base notes , juicy pomegranate little ruby marbles rolling on leather , with spiced ambers and sandalwood in a very oriental atmosphere (if you have ever beem in an authentic arabian apothecary) No note out of the tune , all nicely balanced , From first spray to mid-notes.. but at drydown the fruitiness "granate" fade almost completely leaving the floor for the patchouli to rise and it gets quite intense .. too bad im not into patchoulis otherwise this would have made it to my collection

This is the newest addition to the NR Musc collection in golden bottles (alongside another new one, Neroli Essence, which is not listed here on Fragrantica yet). As to Musc Grenat, although the scent’s moniker and the list of notes suggest a fruity-musky muck, the strongest notes are actually saffron and leather, giving this fragrance a ‘cold’, medicinal and mature character. I would say that it is masculine leaning, just like the rest of scents from the golden collection (although this is entirely subjective).
