Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée

I live in a very hot and humid climate and this performs terribly in these conditions. The feeling of warmth and tropical flowers that this should evoke gets absolutely destroyed in such conditions. I had to go into an air-conditioned room so the notes could come together and my brain could read this perfume. Today it has cooled down to about 26 degrees Celsius and the perfume is performing ok. I think it is suited to cooler climates when you are craving a holiday and want to evoke a tropical mood. It is not to be worn on a tropical holiday. Some compare this to Bottega Venetta Knot. I have Knot and there is a slight resemblance but Knot blooms beautifully in hot weather. So these are 2 completely different perfumes and their make up is just not the same. Also Neroli Ambrée applies really strong, almost screechy sharp and then mellows out. Maybe I just have to get used to it, maybe it’s the heat. It’s a tricky perfume for me.

I'm wearing this side-by-side with the EDP trying to decide which one to buy and Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée is the absolute winner for me. The EDP is a lightly sweetened, creamy, tropical flower concoction that is warm, sophisticated, yet easygoing but disappears within minutes of application on my skin. The EDT is fresher, cleaner, transparent, and more solar and lasts quite a while, though becomes a lovely skin scent after a few hours. It's uplifting, cheerful, and offers the illusion of an elegant woman that has her s**t together and is ready to seize the day with optimism. I also think the EDT is more versatile because it's warm enough to wear in spring but bright and clean enough to wear in summer. I have a 50ml on the way. Update: Though this is not a big projector, I could still catch uplifting whiffs of that gorgeous Narciso musk that is unique to the square bottles even after 8 hours of wear.

This was a cheap blind buy and when I first tried it, I wasn't that impressed nor did I think it would suit me as I usually go for greener florals. Now that I've worn it maybe ten times I must say this is a lovely one. It's very easy to wear. The opening reminds me of sun screen from the 90s, but that doesn't linger longer than maybe 10 minutes. The heart of this scent is a very pleasant musky floral. I have a strong colour synesthesia with scents and to me this smells exactly like the peachy colour of the bottle. It's a perfect everyday scent for spring. It's still rather cool in May where I live and I'm excited to see how this scent performs in warmer weather. I think this fragrance would work great for anyone from early 20s upwards. It is feminine but boy oh boy I would not mind if a man wore this scent.

It took me until the last dregs of my small decant to work out what this reminded me of. Elemis Neroli Blossom body products! It’s quite beautiful, a perfect way to wear a slightly clean, slightly creamy, citrus scent in the spring & summer without settling for the usual lemon & orange smells. I love the scent - it is quite faint though, drying down to a skin scent very quickly. You have to bury your nose to find it but it lasts pretty well. The Elemis body cream smells pretty much the same and is much stronger, so you could get this if you want a fragrance to complement it or to top up during the day.

I am really starting to like this fragrance. I almost pick up a sweet rose or sweet floral note after a few hours, some citrus and a little coconut. At first, I wasn’t impressed, but after wearing this to work, I kept smelling it and it was so very nice! I love scents that stay fresh and that are not over powering that I can catch glimpses of throughout the day. I usually go anosmic very quickly. It is very important that you like the Narciso musc. It is a classic Narciso with a true vacation vibe.

My new favorite! It starts off very tropical, the frangipani certainly takes center stage after the initial spray. It’s fresh and floral, yet beautifully rounded by the cashmeran. The musk and neroli grounds it as a very clean scent, like waking up to a fresh morning at a luxurious hotel in a tropical location. I love it. It’s not particularly long lasting, but rather dwindles down to a skin scent - an absolutely gorgeous one at that.

I just bought this yesterday and it's gorgeous, sunny and tropical. It doesn't seem to last long, which is a shame. It reminds me of Beige by Chanel, but lighter and more ethereal. Just delicious!

I was looking for hours at the shop to buy a perfume. I was looking and looking then I smelled this and said WOW. Wow, Wow, wow!

Frangipani in a bottle. It dominates throughout., with clear orange blossom flowers (I’m surprised that isn’t voted higher). At first you can smell the bitter orange of neroli oil, and then the more sweet and floral orange blossom. Musk mixes with the orange blossom and amber to give it a feel of JPG Classique to me, but it does not smell the same, as the frangipani is so dominant in this one. It’s still a floral amber kind of scent though. It reminds me of when I worked in Tunisia for a few months in the 90s, this was the smell coming from gardens as I’d walk home on an evening, and the smell from the flowers I’d put in my hair, as you did back then. So it’s quite a nostalgic scent for me, and I’m glad I blind bought the 90ml, although I’m not sure I’ll ever use it all! However, I’d say it’s not a safe blind buy, as you have to really like the rich deep floral frangipani and orange blossom/neroli bitter orange kind of scents to like this one. No ylang ylang (compared to the ambree EDP) means that it stays fresh and flowery throughout. This isn’t typically sweet, although it’s very feminine. No sugar, more like the way frangipani flowers and orange blossom actually smell. It’s strong. One spray was decent, I sprayed a second spray to check the notes and it’s now got huge sillage. The musk on dry down is lovely as it’s still flowery.

I have to say that i am impressed!! Thinking at first it would have a too similar effect and no difference, just a lighter edition, is not!!, is true has the same strength of frangipani, but twisted. Starts completely different, sweet fresh neroli with some orange, then it goes creamier, but still neroli present, frangipani makes the apparition, in this case more floral than previous regular Ambrée, making true what it says on the box, “sun drenched neroli”. Like a competition between neroli and frangipani, which wins neroli, but frangipani gives that sunny vibe. Has not sharpness of vanilla’s regular Ambrée, the bright - freshly edge is all time there, being a warm scent as well. In all has summery neroli, which gives a more floral aura and predominates, the fact that the vanilla is not loud, makes it purely floral with a musky base!!, real femme!. Has very good lasting and projection. Really good!!

So this was a blind buy for me and I have not smelled the OG Ambrée either. At first the scent is quite overwhelming to me, there is a lot happening at the same time for a couple of minutes. My first thought was that it's very perfume-y in the beginning and citrus-y. The beginning had me a little worried but pretty soon after things calm down a bit and it gets creamier and softer but stays really fresh throughout. I really like it, it makes me think of luscious gardens around the mediterranean, lemon sorbet and air dried crisp bed sheets. I only wished it lasted a little longer, it becomes an intimate skin scent on me pretty fast sadly. Update: Wore it again and it was a bit less fresh this time around and more of the musk for some reason. Still really pretty but basically no longevity. Will be interesting to see how it performs in the summer.

It's... Nice. Calling a perfume "nice" should be an insult. I like Narciso (the white cube) and ADORE Poudree, which is my favourite of them all. Rouge and Ambree were both misses IMO. I checked Neroli Ambree for two reasons: it's a pretty cube and my love for Neroli. Unfortunately for me, that's an "I may like it on occasion but nothing more" kind of scent. It starts off overwhelmingly dense. Very floral, somewhat mature. There's some Neroli as advertised, but really not too much. Then it goes downhill from here, morphing into a very makeup-y perfume-y kind of smell which I don't like at all. I get tons of compliments for this one so it's probably a crowd pleaser. I, however, am not particularly pleased with it. It will never be the go-to Poudree is for me.

I used to have black cube. Then I grew out of floral woody musks and didn't rebuy it. Then I met this. Its very out of my scent profile but I somehow was drawn to this. This is not drowning in powder like the others, crisp and clean with some rounded sweetness from neroli and amber cedar gives a bone to it. I don't know if I will wear it around people but I will definitely wear this when I am creating on my own. Gets better the longer it stays and it stays all day long. This stuff is good for your sacral chakra.

Very pretty orange blossom, sweet with a light tropical vibe, perfect for summer. It smells nicer and longer lasting on clothes than on my skin. I discovered it layers beautifully with Mugler Alien Goddess. I love the orange blossom in this perfume but none of the NR perfumes that I own as of yet can compare or ever substitute the black bottle NR for her which is so unique. Among the cubes my favorite still remains Narciso Poudree.

This smells lovely! Floral, sensual, slightly citrusy with a soft and natural sweetness to it. Discreet and elegant. Another great scent from Narciso Rodriguez. It reminded me of Twilly from Hermès, but Neroli Ambrée is softer and more complex. I imagine a classy professional woman wearing it, maybe with a nude outfit. Final note: 7,5/10

This version is quite lovely and has a good balance of musky and floral notes, meaning that the florals are never overpowered by the musk. I can smell the frangipani during the initial stages, but the drydown is mostly neroli and orange blossom to me. A big plus is also that the floral ingredients do not smell overly synthetic.

Beautiful neroli & orange blossom! Strikes the perfect chord between summer floral and clean musk, ensuring the perfume stays ageless. Only complaint is that this fades a lot quicker than other Narciso fragrances, but I think that must be an inherent property of neroli and/or orange blossom as lead ingredients.

Very similar to the Ambree EDP. Nearly identical to my nose with some neroli on the top to make it a hair fresher. I love both the EDP and neroli, so this is a win for me but I think if you have the EDP, no need to also buy this. It’s too similar.

This is a softer more muted version of the EDP, unless you’re a fan you don’t really need to own both. This version does feel lighter though, I can see this being an everyday fragrance for spring/summer

Smells like my beloved "Narciso Poudrée", but with orange blossom instead of rose. Feminine, soft and delicate.

Why have I been so unlucky with Narciso Rodriguez lately? 😫 On my skin Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée opens up quite green, sharp and powdery, and it doesn’t change much in the drydown. Sadly, I don’t think I actually get anything apart from that harsh neroli. I was surprised to discover I would find this note so unpleasant as I had tried a few perfumes with strong neroli and it didn’t bother me at all. Here, however, I can’t help associating overall composition with a scent of dead flowers. I am going to give Narciso Eau Néroli Ambrée a chance this month to see if we should part ways 💔

Bright white florals for summer The opening has a fresh burst of Frangipani and Neroli, this perfume is ditto to the EDP but the EDT stays fresh throughout and has a softer powdery dry-down compared to its EDP sibling. I would recommend this over the EDP version. The EDT feels more natural smelling due to the lack of a thicker powdery base. Decent scent for a decent price, gotta love the Narciso bottles!

Fell in love with the Narciso EDT (the black cube) and wanted to get my hands on all the cubes. Neroli and Cashmeran are both notes I struggle with, which is why I had dismissed this, but I chanced upon this at the store and smelled it out of curiosity. What would you know, I liked it a lot. It reminded me a lot of Lovely Lights (that one has Neroli and cashmeran too, and I had initially struggled with it too) but this felt more sophisticated, uplifted. The sweetness in here comes from the Frangipani, and if you’ve smelled the real thing, you know how sweet it can get. Then comes the musky powdery warm skin accord from the musk and cashmeran, along with the freshness from the Neroli and orange blossom - such a beautiful balance. Wearing this feels like a veil on your skin. It’s there, but it doesn’t make its presence known. It’s raining here, and I am wrapped around a book. The house is quiet after a week of festivities and I am enjoying some much needed down time. I keep getting wafts of my perfume, and I know this will always be a calming comforting scent for me. I can’t wait to layer it with JLO Glow and maybe Lovely (that sharpness from Lovely should go beautifully with the soft powder from this one). Oooh, and maybe Prada Infusion d’Iris. We’ll see :)

Narciso Ambrée Neroli is a beautiful and personal fragrance for summer and spring. Very delicate and fresh. I was looking for a Narciso Rodriguez for the summer and I found it. I admit that I love neroli and that frangipani puts me in a good mood...it really was hard not to like it. It has a clean, airy, super light opening...it's opening a window to a paradise of fresh and somewhat tropical flowers because it has frangipani and gives it a bright and very bright floral point. In all the fragrance you enjoy its freshness and really more in its end you feel the denser and sweeter ingredients. And yes, of course it looks likeTwily d'Hermès, but in my opinion Narciso Neroli has a creamier touch and is less spicy, that's why I like it more. In this Narciso, the musk provides a soft satin silk to the fragrance, it is not dark, it simply gives support, depth and duration to its exquisite smell. As in almost all Narciso, it is a very feminine and sexy intelligent perfume...

This is a solid, long-lasting creation by the American designer of Cuban origin Narciso Rodriguez. It is the continuation of the amber topic launched in 2020 with Narciso Eau de Parfum Ambrée. Like Narciso, which I adore, it has the quality of being strong and sitting close to the skin at the same time. To my nose, not Neroli, but Frangipani (Plumeria) dominates the initial notes and stays for long beyond that. Musk, for which the Narciso Rodriguez creations are famous, together with Orange Blossom are the middle notes. In the basis, Amber, Cedar and Cashmeran create a calm, deep dry-down. A beautiful addition to the Narciso collection, where the flowery side is accentuated in comparison to the others. IG: perfumepassione

Based on a quick test, I found this an airy perfume that is centered around neroli/ orange blossom, and frangipani (which, to me, smells like coconut), and it gets creamier by time. I don't want to dig deeper into the notes, but as a general impression, It's nice, clean, polished, chic for a vacay, but so mainstream and light. It falls below my expectations, because I usually follow up on the creations of Aurelien Guichard, as possible, for his intriguing perspectives and adorable sunscreen/ makeup/ powdery touches, but sadly the theme idea behind this one is a let down. Or probably, I've got to test it again to better read between the lines.

This one is so nice. It was love at first sniff - the first time I smelled that I was teleported to summer day filled with flowers and citruses. I like this one more than the previous version, even though they do not really differ from each other. But this one is somehow "younger". Some say that it ́s generic or not original at all. I don ́t think so. I know many generic smells and this one is not definitely it. It ́s acually pretty interesting.

Narciso Poudree with a twist. Neroli with musk and amber, very pretty and elegant The frangipani note is amazing. I always felt that frangipani was just a tropical/beachy note without too much to offer. In this scent the frangipani note provides sweetness and creaminess that makes the whole scent super feminine and delicious. I think this is a winner. I am really pleased with this scent. Now I wish Narciso would come with a rose centered cube...

This perfume took me back to my dear Sevilla right at the first spritz. The smell of azahares, welcoming spring...A very lovely scent. The dry-down is very similar to the original Ambrée, only closer to skin and softer. The only reason why I'd choose this over the original is the neroli note that brings so lovely memories of Sevilla and that's enough justification for me.

Neroli Ambree is like a flanker of Ambree! The original formula was modified by reducing the coconut, musk, by increasing the amber and adding fresh and spring neroli. Longevity and projection were also wrought a little, so that a high-quality, extremely pleasant and versatile perfume was obtained, not at all sweet. I say it honestly, I like it a lot!

This perfume was a wasted opportunity IMO...the bottle is beautiful but the DNA is very similar to the original Ambree. The original is much more exotic and interesting, the Neroli Ambree is just a poorer, watered down version. I had high hopes for the neroli note, but it doesn't stand out - which is a shame. I'll give it away to a friend.

Ah, a 'plant-y' narciso... Warm day, skin test. So the neroli stands out a mile here, it has gone the typical narciso clean musk too. This one leans a bit dry a little as crystalle does, it's a touch clean bitter too. Rounded, powdery, neroli plus the leaf and branch type woody.. Reminds me of something else but I can't place it..

This smells very nice , soft pretty and Rich... should have got two bottles .. Update this parfum is very muscky I'm liking it so musc lol this smells really very freshen up .... Very bitter sweet and very muscky not buttery sweet like og bottle and the updated musc there using is really good .. the perfumer did very well..

I don't own any of the Narciso bottles yet but I'm toying with the idea for som time 😊 this might be the one, definitely on my sniffing list 😊

such a pretty scent. im not sure why i get cupcake vibes from this, but i do. like a nice creamy cupcake amidst a beautiful neroli bouquet
