Narciso Rodriguez For Her L'Absolu

I have Narciso for her EDT, for her EDP, and for her l’absolu. I find EDT to stand its own, whereas the EDP and L’absolu feel similar. EDT my most loved of the three is an enthralling airy freshness interlaced with sweetness from the vanilla and flower and musk. It is outrageous how beautiful and sensual it is. If I had a signature probably this would be it. EDP and L’absolu, although attractive, I find are for the more mature, serious, and prim and proper. I feel this would suit my mother more. I would feel like I am trying too hard to fit the persona that these perfumes signal. At drydown these are less airy, quite powdery, unfortunately not as fresh as I would like, and even smell oily. The opening of both of these are quite intense and unpleasantly sharp and downright revolting - need to be very patient to enjoy this. And you need to enjoy powdery and demure to like these. EDP is more comforting powdery whereas L’absolu is in same vein with a little more syrupy texture. For powdery musk I would rather enjoy my Narciso poudree, which is also more approachable than these two. I am more into the EDT- it has a lot more presence. To my nose, EDT is not similar to either of the two. Edit: I am wearing NR L'absolu today. I am finding more nuance in it. More than powdery there is a raw floral oily syrupy texture - not sweet but somewhat carnal adult connotations without any explicit suggestion. Definitely not easy to like but Intriguing I must say! Edit 2: EDP is seriously growing on me. L'absolu seems a mixture of EDP and EDT. HAVE GROWN TO LOVE ALL THREE

It seems that I'm turning into a Narciso Rodriguez fan. After Narciso and For Her, L'Absolu is my next big like. Though I kind of expected it as it contains tuberose. L'Absolu is indeed very similar to both the aforementioned fragrances, and at the same time it feels different enough to justify owning it if you already own one or both of the above. The opening blast is tuberose and jasmine. Very creamy, the tuberose soon takes center stage as the queen usually does. The jasmine isn't very prominent, while the tuberose sings for a good 45 minutes on my skin. Heart and base is where the similarities start to show up; you get the signature musk that's highlighted in For Her, and the creamy amber of Narciso. This is where I feel that this couldn't be anything other than a member of the family. Narciso fragrances seem to have a certain elegance and understated sophistication that makes them so appealing to many, even if at first they seem kind of crude. They also bolster a very good longevity with a powerful sillage, which is something I wish would stand for most brands nowadays. They are similar to each other and at the same time different. I enjoy For Her for its osmanthous/orange blossom no fuss musk, Narciso for its creamy ambery gardenia, and now L'Absolu for its strong tuberose presence, that is followed by what I like from the others. It's worth a try even though I know many will find it redundant. But if you like tuberose this a very pleasant surprise from the mainstream department that will surely be everywhere come fall and Christmas season.

Ever heard "there's always that one person that will always have your heart (even when you cant call him/her yours)"? That is exactly how i feel about this perfume. Tried it once around few months ago. Loved it but i was crazy in YSL Cinema & Jour d'Hermes by then. However i often think about this scent (like having dinner with ur beautiful boyfriend but u think about another guy). I had holidays in Paris last month and a lady in Sephora spritzed this on me. Holy crap it feels like im in love again, but deeper and i want to have it forever! This is a tuberose bomb (I usually not a fan of it tho), the musk also heavy on my skin. Very sweet but not girl-next-door kind of sweet. The 'darkness' and creaminess blended well and turn it to an expensive and very ladylike scent. An alpha lady, classy, mysterious, seductive but hard-to-get, high maintenance, successful career woman who loves to attend high-level party and surrounded by gorgeous crowd, fierce but kind-hearted ladyboss. You name it. I love the reaction of people when i enter the room and catch them turn their head, deep inhale with face full of thoughts: who's entering the room? This smell is a killer! The sillage is crazy on my skin. Somehow makes me feel guilty if the scent is way too strong/overpowering, but then i tell myself : if loving you is wrong, i dont want to be right! Deal with that. From top to drydown i absolutely LOVE IT!

My initial impression on NR L'absolu For Her (as well as several other fragrances from this line, e.g. Fleur Musc) wasn't so great - namely I dismissed L'absolu it as a tuberose overkill. However, I decided to test-wear it for a while, suspecting that it might eventually grow on me - and, that's exactly what happened. After a weirdish opening, this quickly settles into a powerful musky tuberose with hints of patchouli and jasmine. It projects magnificently and stays on my skin for at least 6 hours. It is not overly similar to other scents from the NR line, because these mighty white florals are so dominant here. If anything, L'absolu reminds me of how the 1980s smelled like! I was just a girl at the time when women used to wear the original Dior Poison, Cacharel LouLou (created by Aurelien Guichard's father, Jean Guichard) and other tuberose bombs... Somehow, NR L'absolu has awakened my long-dormant olfactory memories of that era of incredibly perfumey perfumes. It's not the first time that Aurelien Guichard was inspired by his father's work. So, if you used to love the original Poison or LouLou, this fragrance should work for you.

I have just ordered my second 100 ml bottle which is a surprise for me since I've been downsizing for years and I'm really aiming for a minimalistic wardrobe by now. But what to do when you have found real love? When I first tried it out it didn't smell as I had expected at all, and I was slightly disappointed. It was a blind buy and I expected a sweet tuberose fragrance with a touch of patchouli but what I got wasn't as sweet and flowery as I had hoped for. Instead I found it rather dry, smokey and quite abstract. But the more I used it the more I fell in love with it and the components that I had been looking for started to show themselves in full strength. The patchouli is quite prominent in the opening and it takes a little while for it to settle but once it does you will have a sweet, musky and the most sensual fragrance ever. It does not smell like the fragrances I usually buy: 80's big ballsy florals and florientals that smells like flower bouquets. Narciso l'Absolu is different, I like to think that the composition is modernistic, like an abstract art piece that doesn't attempts to imitate nature at all. Perfect.

This is just gorgeous! Narciso Rodriguez makes perfumes that are in every way comparable with more exclusive and expensive niche brands. This starts off almost exactly like For Her EDT, with a sharp blast of NR's telltale musk - little dirty and a lot of sexy! After several minutes, L'absolu begins to distinguish itself from the EDT with a sweetness from the tuberose. The tuberose is not overbearing, just clean, creamy and non-indolic, a great counterpoint to both the musk and the patchouli. I struggle with patchouli, and in my opinion, it has ruined several fragrances I might otherwise like. But this patchouli is not medicinal, nor overly earthy. It's just smooth and sexy. The silage can be potent so do not overspray this one or it could be suffocating. The longevity is decent, becoming more of a skin scent after about 2 hours. Depending on my mood, L'absolu comes almost neck and neck with my favorite Narciso - the eponymous one in the white cube. I think that this is more appropriate for the evening, but I would also recommend it any time seduction is on the menu! ;)

I was at a local charity shop and saw this perfume, I have never tried #narciscorodriguezparfums before so I had to get it. I am satisfied that I purchased #forherlabsolu as it is a beautiful concoction. The bottle is lacquered in a jammy, deep and Boudreaux-colored hue of purple, my favorite. It is also beautiful how the color is encased inside the glass and it creates a beautiful illusion. At first spray, I smell intense tuberose dancing with absolute jasmine and as the florals unfurled their petals, a clean and sensuous amber musc develops. I am the rich aunt sitting upon her marble encased Boca Do Lobo Versailles sofa. The musc in the juice keeps the perfume from being sweet and the sandalwood and patchouli keep a mature and modern feel. I do smell a note that reminds me of my grandmother Molly and the musc sillage she would leave behind and that touches my heart. I am going to explore NR more as this was a great first meeting. The more mature, grown-up-sexy version of Musc Noir to me. A tragedy that it's gone! The opening smells a little vintage, and even in the dry-down I get hints of a different generation. I'm reminded of other scents that smell like a plummy deep-purple, like Amouage's Memoir W, Agent Provocateur's L'Agent, and CK's Secret Obsession, however L'Absolu is definitely my favourite of all these scents. The dry-down is softer - insidiously seductive and intoxicating with florals musks. And is it possible to smell simple and complex at the same time? That's what L'Absolu is to me. Simple, yet not straightforward, very interesting and beautiful, but not complicated or challenging like those others I listed. I'm wearing Narciso for Her EDT on one hand and the L'Absolu on the other and you can definitely tell that the L'Absolu is a deeper, sweeter, more silky and luxurious version of the original EDT.

I just recieved this beauty today as a gift from my husband to our 5th anniversary and it is beyond beautiful. I am crazy about tuberose. I do not get the reminiscence with Narciso's white cube, which is creamy and milky and it is my signature, so I know it by heart. This Narciso L'absolu is sultry and sexy. With the first spray it comes to me as a pink tuberose (the exact one from Fracas). After couple of minutes I can detect the typical Narciso's musk from the black bottle and it mixes together with the white flowers and gives them kind of that 'big wild cat's snarl' egde. Longevity and projection could be better, but this one is a win for me. 'Cos when my husband smelt it on me, he used words, which I cannot share with you :D And night is still young :D Edit: The scent lingers, still the projection is weaker, but man, when u think it's gone, it wafts around u again.

for many years i had for her edp as one of my regulars until i discover AP classic .very similar but for my taste...better plus more affordable.recently i got Narciso...elegant and classy.but something is missing..so out of the blue i saw this here ..curious enough i read several reviews..half positive half negative situation..so i ordered it thinking that since it s NR it would be decent like ESSENCE in the worst scenario.it turned to be one of my best blind buys.an amazing and one of the most balanced scents i ve smell.for me is the child of NR for her with NR Narciso.it has very good projection for about 3 hours on my skin and then becomes softer but long lasting.i agree with a review said that it smells sex..i do find it the sexiest in the line.i must get another one soon..it is one of these scents i want to have in stock

Love at first sniff. Purchased solely based on the notes. I love patchouli, and knew that Narciso Rodriguez would craft something special, and I was right. This is sultry. And dark. And elegant. And sooo expensive smelling (like all Narciso’s). It opens with an almost medicinal/mint that lingers on paper, but dissipates within 5 mins on skin. Then, gorgeous sweet tuberose and jasmine take shape along side patchouli. With hints of sandalwood and amber, peeking in and out. The musc here is not powdery in nature, but more animalic, in the most elegant way possible. More so for use in the fall and winter months for sure, it would likely be too heavy for warmer days. Leans more feminine, but a man could wear it. Great longevity like all my Narciso’s. It has been discontinued, so I will have to hoard a back up bottle or 3.

A few years ago, it was the 4th of July and I was in Hawaii watching a fireworks show. I happened to be wearing For Her L'Absolu, and as I was walking home after the show I picked up a plumeria bloom that had fallen from a tree and noticed how it smelled almost exactly like my perfume! So, although L'Absolu has tuberose, I always associate it with plumeria and my old neighborhood that had lots of plumeria trees. This is the only Narciso I've smelled so far that I enjoy; it's deep, a little sexy with the patchouli, and I think it's very playful and fun. Good for a night out if you want to feel girly and a little daring. Lasts awhile and large sillage that will get you noticed but pleasant to most noses, not offensive at all and very feminine.

Starts off with floral tuberose but quickly transforms to a creamy, musky, dense and warm fragrance. Very good performance which lasts a long time on my skin and clothes. This fragrance forms a cloud of goodness around me and continuously wafts musky flowers at me. It does not project very far but definitely has great silage which lingers long after you've left the room. A little goes a long way. 1 spray in the front and 1 in the back. Though L'absolu smells unique, it does give me a similar feeling as Dior Addict 2014 and L'Instant de Guerlain. I apply this perfume a little further down on my body because it can be very heady. Very unique fragrance which I'll have and enjoy for years to come. My husband also likes it on me.

Love Narciso ! And this is no exception. Bought it on the spot. Soft musky typical Narciso , had to have the 100 ml , instant compliments from 3 people , but I sprayed a lot !!! It's musky , creamy sweet , very related to the others in this line , not as strong as pink and black bottle more along the line of the purple milky looking Narciso that came out a few years ago ,,,delicate ? Same sort of feel to it. Just airy fluffy and wonderful. Don't miss it. Bottle is deep burgundy gorgeous. Update Best way to describe this is , light , fluffy and clean but perfumy due to the tuberose maybe ? I love it , it smells like a mix between the orig and the new Narciso in the cube !!!!! Yes that's it !!!!

I got this bottle from a friend. Went to her house, saw it on the shelf and was shocked to see it and she said "take it." She herself hated it/never used it. I have been looking around to find this bottle, just to smell it and this was kind of a lottery win for me. The first hit is really strong jasmine/tuberose and patchouli and immediately I can smell liquorice, which I HATE. It may be because it is an older bottle by this point but it goes away in few minutes. The dry down is a dark musky jasmine that a grandmother would wear but I LOVE IT. Very much a winter/fall fragrance. On clothes it stays for a long time. A beautiful white floral scent and an amazing bordeaux coloured bottle.

Bold, unique, magnificent! After the first strong feelings that I've experienced already for a week, I can also describe it. At first spray a cloud of tuberose and jasmine with green nuances emerge and lasts 2-3 hours. By and by musc takes its place in the composition and dances a while with the flowers which then tame but not disapear, letting amber and lightly sweet sandalwood come in. A hint of patchouli gives a fine edge to the whole mixture. After 4-5 hours it all turns into this gorgeous dark burgundy velvet that wraps me kindly and conquers me completely until the next morning when the scent still lingers in my hair. Totally enchanted and addicted! I am so in love

Of all the NR perfumes that I own, I find this one the most comforting. It's heavy on musc and white flowers and it lingers for days on clothes, even though the sillage is not that great and it tends to stay close to the skin. This is a very balanced composition, sweet but not sugary, though sweeter than the other NR For her, sexy but not vulgar, dark but shimmery. I've worn it mainly in the cold months since I've bought it and I have a feeling this is a bit too cloying for the hot weather. I'm so glad I found a bottle of Absolue given that it's discontinued and I've always received compliments while I had it on.

A totally unrelated flanker as this is tuberose and jasmine, because I find the FOR HER line is more centered on rose and musk and with just a slight nuances to make them a bit different from each other. On initial spray the tuberose hits you and if you are not a tuberose lover, this will slightly repel you but hold on for just a few minutes this will be tempered by sweet jasmine (thank God it is not the indolic kind)and of course, THE MUSK. By the time the amber and sandalwood show up this turns creamy and velvety almost like a souffle and dry down is almost delectable.

First spray, I get a huge blast of musk. Five minutes in, I see the tuberose appear, followed by some sort of bubble gum smell. I really never see the sandalwood appear, or the patchouli. Overall, the scent is very nice though. It is more of a classic "per-fumy" smell, just clean and fresh with flowers. Like a high end soap. Very refreshing, to have something that is neither sweet like candy or cake or food. Definitely no pre-teen scent going on here. This is wearing jeans and a white cotton T-shirt in the spring breeze, while barefoot on the beach.

Absolutely my cup of tea! This gem was in sale, and think they have discontinued this one! WHY GOD WHY? I find perfect signature and dont find it anymore any shop! This is mystical, just love tuberose and patchouli combo for this one. Its like my own scent but much better! This make me feel like I am the perfect smelling woman like no-one else could be. Im the queen with this strong smelling, sexy and mysterious scent and others are just princess with their airy light water scents. Yes, Im really the best smelling woman on earth. Thats not a lie :-)

For me, I don't get the Mugler Alien or Alien Essence Absolue comparisons. I have both of those and find them quite different from this. Although the comparison to Givenchy L'Interdit Intense is spot on. Beyond that - Narciso Rodriguez For Her L'Absolu is indeed very sexy and though the notes seem familiar, they are composed quite differently in this scent. Even the expectation of the trademark Narciso musk here shows up quite unlike the other perfumes of this house. Richer, more sensual, nothing powdery sweet - instead pure seduction awaits.

Ok so this is my very first womens scent that i purchased. I wish it did not say „for her“ on the bottle. But to be totally honest, i just don‘t care and scraped „for her“ text off the bottle. Because to me this scent is amazing. It is so musky, deep and sexy in a unique and sophisticated way. L’Absolu is more deeper and potent than the EdT and EdP versions. The jasmine is playing more in the background while the musk, tuberose and patchouli are very strong and dominant. Longevity is fantastic. This could for sure work as a unisex.

I've tried the Narciso Rodriguez EDT in the black bottle before and enjoyed it and decided to test this one when it came out. It smells soft and powedery to my nose. I do like it, I just wish it had a little bit of a vanilla note in it that I think would make it more of a keeper scent for me. I think it's worth mentioning that I've gotten compliments from perfumes before, but while wearing this, it was the first time I had a man stop me and insist I give him the name of the perfume so he could buy a bottle for his girlfriend.

Wow! This smells amazingly good on me. My body chemistry tends to throw some scents off - I often end up with pickles or burnt plastic. But not this one - it really is divine. I adore tuberose and that comes through, but it's also very warm and luxurious smelling. Not too musky, but just enough to give it depth. I can't discern a lot of spice from patchouli, so I think it's the tuberose and amber that are making me love it. I'm sad that it is discontinued, as it truly is lovely. Lasts well too, with good sillage.

I've heard this has been discontinued? is this true? omg if you see it you must grab it right away, I used to have other Narciso for her but I gave them away only keep this l’absolu. It’s very sexy, mysterious and magical, I think it would be a sexy witch or wizard would wear in the 21st century. You will get the tuberose at the beginning and then the musk and patchouli come out and combine everything together by a magic spell. Definitely definitely recommend it.

The notes above are accurate. First white flowers, and then amber with a little patchouli and sandalwood mixed in. The tuberose stays throughout and develops into something animalic and fruity with that amber and patch. The smell is magnetic, I will wear this on cooler nights going out. I think the color of the bottle matches the smell, dark purply. Longevity is poor if you're looking to wear this all day, but would be perfect for a night out about 4hrs.

I do love this, but I'm not going to purchase it. On me, it smells way too similar to the white Narciso (the new cube one) that I already own. Germany is right that it's a mix of Narciso and the original Narciso Rodriguez (black edt), only it's much closer to Narciso on my skin. Beautiful scent!! Beautiful bottle!! However; in my mind, there is no point in owning both Narciso and this one. I really wouldn't know which one to reach for..

Let's get this straight from the get go, I am not a fan of Narciso Perfumes usually, but my goodness, this scent is something else. It's creamy, feminine, alluring, sexy and delicious. I adore this. The opening is like a traditional Narciso perfume, but the dry down is divine. I cannot stop sniffing my wrist. Vanilla, white floral, honey, musk, tuberose - all combining to make a beautiful, expensive smelling perfume. I'm in love.

To my nose the tuberose is muffled by the musk it's not a green lush tuberose. The opening is a bit 'in your face' but wait.. it keeps mellowing and mellowing over the hours to a superb flowery muskiness, simply divine. What can I say, I've worn out the back of my hand sniffing it for 10 hours. Longevity is outstanding! This is well worth the price as you only need a single spray to last you the whole day.

Love! This is the NR for Her EDP: night edition. Somewhat darker, richer than the pink bottle, and absolutely intoxicating. The same clean musk throughout, which prevents this parfum from becoming sickly or syrupy. Disagree strongly with the comments that it's "dirty" or "skanky" -- it makes me feel fresh and confident, day or night. Long lasting, especially on clothes.

The most prominent is the patchouli at first, but after an hour it mellows down and lets the musk take the center stage. I also smell a slight pepper spice note. I love the confidence this fragrance gives. Sophistication, high class, wealth comes to mind. The sillage is moderate to heavy, it wraps around like a soft cashmere scarf. The patchouli is clean, luxurious.

Something in the initial spray is off putting, but I LOVE the rest. It's a beautiful, soft white floral. I'll just make sure to spray this 15 minutes before leaving the house. I also wish it had greater projection like the For Her EDP / EDT, but still very nice. Glad to have been able to purchase a full bottle at a reasonable price before it becomes too scarce.

Blind buy this, at first I didn't like it, I thought it was just another musk of Narciso for her. But guys, this is growing on me, the tuberose and musk with patchouli underneath made this fragrance gorgeous, I can't stop smelling my wrist for the whole day! However, the longevity and sillage are very very weak, you would need to reapply this during the day!

I got this as a present because I love all Narsico Rodriguez fragrances. This is my least favorite. Tuberose starts out really strong. It toook me few weeks to start liking it. It really grows to a pleasent Narsico musk in few hours, and it lasts. Definetely winter, evening fragrance. Not a blond girls summer fragrance.I would call it Narsico Rodriguez Noir.

The first 20 minutes it smells like death, it is literally reminiscent of funerals and melancholy but then it settles down to the most sensual and dreamy creamy florals, beautifully mature. Not to everyone's liking sure but definitely one of the most beautiful and unique creation of the brand before it fell into the mass appealing trend. So bad it is gone.

Super Sexy, i find it suits the adults more than young and teenagers. It is so bold, sexier than the black edt one, & more mature!, the added tuberose is noticeable here, so if you like the NR in general and the tuberose, then this one is absolutely for you! Awesome, and you will get a ton of compliments when using it! Longevity and sillage: V. good.

EDITED VERSION Heavy, warm and rich musk, tuberose and jasmine in the opening. From top to dry down are musky, floral and woody scent. A very beautiful, delicate, seductive, warm and sexy scent. Absolutely bolder than original EDP and EDT. Surprisingly, after two hours it's bit closer to Miss Dior Le parfum. Whatever, i love Narciso line

nice - very dark, indolic, skanky-musky white florals. sexy. fairly good longevity - can smell it on my clothes at the end of the day (not on my skin). i personally LOVE the skank, it's sexy without any pretense of professionalism, and avoids the overly synthetic-sugary-sweet vibe that many perfumes default to in an attempt to be sexy.

I agree with others, this was my favorite of the entire line. I've gone through 6 bottles!!! But no, I'm not paying 250-350 dollars for it now. I've looked at the scents listed in the "reminds me of" section. But no, none of them remind me of this at all. Such a shame, I feel like I've been dumped by a long term boyfriend.

This one smells amazing, a truly aurelien-guichardian perfume: thick creamy milky musky floral (check out a couple of his works, this young guy is a genius of the genre). Lots of tuberose, non indolic though. Overall there's a very polished mainstream feel with niche-private-blend like depths. Very strong and long lasting.

What a fragrance...sexy, pungent and very sensual. At first there is a hit of patchouli and tuberose, then it settle down to this amazing scent of amber and sandalwood....what a beauty. This fragrance is all about its dry down and how well balanced it is... just perfection. Long lasting with good silage.

I hate patch and i hate tuberose ....but omg this is one of the most sexiest fragrances I have ever smelled! This is dark and seductive, and as one reviewer said below: a perfect brunette scent. I imagine a vintage vixen with dark hair and red lipstick wearing this...very gothic and extremely sensual.

This is a lovely, musky and creamy tuberose scent. Absolutely beautiful and feminine. Vey musky - like all Narciso scents - and similar to the new Narciso edp, white bottle, a delicate creamy floral. Unfortunately the lasting power is too weak for my tastes.

As chypre as Youth Dew with all what i like in Narciso Rodriguez. For me, a killer. I was thinking about wearing NR for Her, but i am really gonna buy this one for good. I am a man but hey, what a piece of art ! Heavy on the tuberose, be warned.

This is my favorite from the For Her line. I am looking for a back up bottle, but because it was discontinued, the prices are exorbitant! This is femme fatale seduction in a bottle!!! I MAY have to just suck it up and purchase a bottle anyway.

This is a dark😈 & sensual masterpiece🫦✨. Don’t judge it by the top notes, give it 5 - 10mins then the magic happens. The floral musky patchouli and sandalwood base notes are everything and more. The Bottle Is Amazeballs!!!

SO I decided that I don’t need this fragrance as I have the edt, and they are quite similar, but!!!! I couldn’t help myself, I am such a hoarder for Narsico’s fragrances!!! I’m in love <3 This scent is so cozy, so elegant.

First smelled it in the Paris airport Duty Free....at that time, I found it to be the most revolutionary scent on the ladies market, modern vibe of the past...only Mystere de Rochas ever felt so ahead of everything else!

There's a part in A Fish Called Wanda where John Cleese says to Jamie Lee Curtis: "You're the sexiest, most beautiful girl I have ever seen. In my entire life." That's what I just said to this perfume.

This is a stunning powdery patchouli perfume. It's my favorite from all the NR fragrances and it seems to have be discontinued...unfortunately. What shame. It was an absolute hit for me.
