Tamburello

Since there are no reviews yet, here’s mine. On first impressions, this was a 10.5/10 on paper. I usually love frangipani anything though so not abnormal for me. I was really wowed by this when I got it. Today I wore it for the first time. It’s a LOT. One spray under my clothes and then one spray on the back, over my shoulder an hour later... after giving myself some time to wake up. Maybe it’s just too early for me? I don’t know for sure. That 10.5 is now a 5/10 for me. I am still new to perfumes so I can’t differentiate between all the notes very well, but something about this just makes me sick to my stomach. It’s been 2 hours and I have given away my decant to a friend who did enjoy it though. I’ll update this if I change my mind throughout the day but I think this one is just not for me. Might be better suited for those who enjoy the louder sillage and not weak stomached individuals like me. To me it smells like a strong powdery maple syrup:(

I can echo the sentiment below about sillage, as I have just dabbed a finger-dab onto my hand from a little tester vial and it's projecting like I sprayed it on my arm. At this miniscule dose it starts out lovely and soft and fruity and floral, and I don't feel overwhelmed by it, but I wouldn't spray it because I don't like a large presence around me and that's likely what could happen.. I don't think the scent profile is entirely for me either, but it is pretty and very feminine and endearing. Its fancy, white to light green detergent. Its floral and clean and fresh but I think very soapy is how my nose actually interprets this.
