Okay, still having mixed thoughts about this one, but probably helpful to someone who's undecided. Honestly, not mixed about how much I enjoy it but rather or not I need something like this in my collection - especially because I struggle to smell it on myself though longevity is VERY good. Price point is right where you find all Narcotica, of course, but delivers the quality for the premium. Very much a two season fragrance for men (not interested in a smells like this for women). Could it cost less? Definitely, but Narcotica is Narcotica like I've said. Smells like a brother to Porthole, with different fruits but with a much more succulent approach. Honestly not similar to GOF or 1907-like fragrances even the mango note doesn't match. This is rather salty and aquatic, but as i the ocean not as other calone infused fragrances. Sour even, but juicy fruits - kinda like an "Sparkling Ice Classic Lemonade" with mango. This fragrance will be somewhat nuanced for the opening 1-2h then becomes pretty linear until its final drydown, unlike Porthole for example. I can smell it for good 10-11 hours on me with certain distinguished profile to just a skin scent, but it does not necessarily project nor gives me a perfumed aura (TO MYSELF I mean) which is my main beef with it. Either way, very good performance, in terms of longevity. Last little note, wife picks up some sweat in it, which could be the salty fruits, not sure. I don't, so overall a great frag.

Love this! Fresh, bright, uplifting. I don't really pick out individual notes but its fruity sweet yet fresh. I drained a 10 oz. in no time and just ordered a second. I also ordered samples for my sister and niece to try. I think this perfume layers really well with my Musk Therapy hair mist. I would consider getting a full bottle of this - a great wear anywhere option for hot summer weather. I was reading through the other reviews and am honestly surprised at how negative some are. I thought this one was so pleasant and inoffensive! Just goes to show how subjective our sense of smell really is and how much body chemistry really can change scents from person to person. I don't get anything reminiscent of cleaning product, no watermellon, and nothing remotely funky/musty/body odor. I will say, I think some of these reviews must be to do with body chemistry- I have a lot of issues with various musks, white florals, and ouds turning sort of poopy on my my skin but this one really agrees with me (there are so many well loved frags from Guerlain, for example, that I consider completely unwearable/poopy pants). I also tend to do well with perfumes that have cumin notes which is another note some people will make b.o. complaints about but I never seem to agree with them, lol. Anyway, I guess this is a try before you buy kind of fragrance.

Wow! This fragrance is absolutely beautiful, the best tropical dna I have ever smelt. Imagine the juiciest citruses being squeezed into an icy cup full of sweet mango juice. The smell of the fresh sea breeze floats past your nose, not too salty and aquatic, creating the most beautiful fruity, airy opening. Seriously, if you thought Tales from Zanzibar, God of Fire, and all of the other tropical fragrances were good, wait until you try this! The selection of fruits in this compliment each other so well. Mango and berries bring a tropical sweetness, while the grapefruit and ginger cut through with a sparkling zing. It stays very tropical and quite sweet throughout, but it never gets too overwhelmingly sweet. I get about 8-9 hours longevity, with moderate projection. Some people may say that it is overpriced, but if you think about it, they will happily buy a more basic dna for more money per mL! I bought this as soon as I smelled the sample. 10/10

I just received a sample of this and when I tell you it made my eyes roll back in my head, I am NOT kidding. This is delicious! Totally my summer scent profile. Mango/guava ish, grapefruit, aquatic. If you like Memoirs of a Perfume Collector Tales from Zanzibar, you will probably like this. Dying to get a full botlle but it's so expensive and only comes in a 100ml size. I hate when perfume houses do that. Why must we all purchase a large bottle? Why not at least sell a 50ml so more of us can afford it? Also, smaller bottles take up less space and I don't have a lot of space. Next step for me is a large decant and then we'll see. I may just have to order the full bottle. It's not every day your eyes roll back in your head...

Does this smells like Porthole? Yep. Does owning both seem redundant? Of course. Do I own both? Yessir! Why do I own both? I love the scent. And instead of buying two bottles of Porthole I have one of each. And you know what surprise I was in for? I was shocked at the projection & longevity because this thing was beastly and lasted 10+ hours. For those unfamiliar, this is a clean fresh tropical scent that smells like the love child of Pacific Chill by Louis V and God of Fire. If you have this scent profile, I dont think anyone does this better than this scent here. If anyone has any other frag recommendations with longevity and punch. Drop me a msg. Love to know 9.5/10 (only gripe is that this isn't unique)

Opens up as a bright marine citrus. Zero screechy-ness and very smoothly blended. The grapefruit lingers but the it did dry down on my skin to a skin scent. I had to put my nose right up to my skin to smell it. Smells like sipping a sparkling limeade with a hint of ginger in it while sitting on a beach. I do not detect the pepper. I think it's really beautiful, but I wouldn't classify it as a particularly complex fragrance. If this was ~175 or less I might buy a full bottle, but for 300, I'll settle for a 9ml decant. I own several other Narcoticas.

I feel bad for the people that get a musty teen deodorant vibe from this...it’s almost offensive their noses can’t appreciate beauty. Limonata is a summer BANGER!! To me, it smells like a fizzy grapefruit accompanied by a lemonade with freshly squeezed mango juice. There’s an aquatic, slightly woody undertone that just about makes this more masculine leaning, but it’s still in the realm of unisex. This fragrance sends me into an olfactory orgasm every time I smell it. 10/10

It smells like lemon pledge and a mango hi chew candy. A bit sour sweet. Really fun. And the weirdest thing is I like it! The projection is fantastic and for those who love summery fruit scents this would be a must try or must buy. Definitely not something I would normally buy as I’m not for mango but this one got me. Maybe someday I’ll splurge for the $300 bottle.

I bought 100 ml limonata instead porthole coz of the preorder and waiting time and I regret now.i had sample of both of them and they were very similar but the longevity and silage of the porthole is next level.on my skin i get only 2 hour longevity from it and I’m so disappointed .8/10

This is fantastic! It really surprised me. To me it smells like if Symphony were on vacation. In the opening I get the same characteristic grapefruit and ginger as Symphony, but right behind it is a juicy and bright mango. It’s definitely a good refreshing scent for summer.

It’s like Porthole (same tropical notes) but instead of the salty note it has a lemon note for freshness with a bit of the earthy mint from Tales from Zanzibar. Porthole sometimes goes a bit BR540-ish, but Limonata doesn’t. Longevity feels about the same as Porthole.

This is summer 2025. This is happiness. This is my scent of the season. A sweet, fruity, citrus connoction which is truly delightful. I am thinking a fizzy cocktail with a little bit of spice added. Love love love and, may I add, beautiful presentation.

The salty, sweet candy fruit and aquatic qualities reminds me of Wave child. Not the same but in the same kind of aquatic candy sweet. If I didn’t already have that one I would buy this. Refreshing , sweet , reminds me of also a sweet juice .Very nice

my favourite blind buy ever.. almost cried smelling this. no words. 10/10. Edit: I get a lotttttt of coconut in the opening. i’m not sure how or why it’s not listed on the notes, but there is definitely a coconut in here resembling to JPG le beau

Imagine seating at the beach sipping on a mango lemonade and enjoying the ocean breeze. It is bright and sparkling. It also smells a little woody. This is unisex imo. Such a beautiful fragrance. It is long lasting and a perfect summer fragrance.

I LOVE this summer freshie. I am not a fan of any other narcotica perfumes, but I think people are greatly underestimating this one. It’s fun, it’s fruity, it’s aquatic. It does not smell like symphony, nor is it as sweet as wave child.

I got a 5 ml decant from this today, I honestly prefer mango ice by gulf orchid and vulcan feu by french avenue, better mango and stronger but this one is good too I will say good for layering but not worth of getting the full bottle.

This is an absolutely phenomenal fragrance. This smells EXACTLY like trident tropical twist gum and I can't get enough of it. Has a slight marine aspect mixed in which makes u feel like ur on the beach as well. 11/10

I really like it; I blind bought this and do not regret it. A great scent for the spring and summer, I layered it with Anelo and oooohhh boyyyy, banger.

Very similar to Porthole, but this one has more lemon in it. I like this more, but the price is way too high for a quickly disappearing summer fragrance

This is a beautiful, bright, fresh, sparkling citrus fragrance with a touch of sweetness. This will be truly glorious to wear during the warmer months.

Smells like Boadicea 1907 and LV Symphony had a love child... pardon my french, this is f*cking amazing. And yes, it is leagues better than Porthole.

A beautiful fruity, fresh scent. Reminds me of a certain watermelon flavored gum. If that sounds appealing to you, I'd urge you to try!

I really liked this as a summer scent. Very uplifting and energizing. I like to layer it with Tygar personally or AF Swim.

This one has me perplexed... Initial impressions of my decant was a true WOW factor. Very unique complex combo - I got fruity grapefruit, aquatic... then lemon, bubblegummy musk (think BubbleYum for those who remember it...or maybe closer to BubsDaddy OG or Watermelon...I am aging myself here)... and it changed by the minute. As it dried down, the notes of fruity, juicy grapefruity watermelony deliciousness stood out most, but then I also get more of the mango, which is my least favorite fruity scent. My nose twists mango into an almost cannabis-like scent sometimes - weird?? The drydown on this one is soft and sweet, not too sweet though, so it leans a little more unisex as we go - almost like a toned down version of Vibrato, or am I crazy? Tho this is much easier on the nose. It is hour 5 and I am still getting compliments. So this may be full bottle worthy...but the price point is throwing me. Update: I bought the full bottle - I love it - no regrets!!

Tropical beach mango, grapefruit, sunscreen candy sweet syrup smell. If you own Tone “Grapefruit” by AMP specifically the pink spray or deordorant, then this smells identical. Go to your local target smell that thing. 1of1 and Limonata is just a bit stronger of course. It also comes off too strong, it’s not my taste I can only wear it to the beach. But some colognes it reminds of are SHL god of fire, CR 2654, herbal acuatica , pacific chill. There is a slight B O smell on the atomizer and dry down

Love the summer vibe of this fragrance. Citrus, fruity, sweet, lemonade. The only thing that bothers me is this weird musty note that smells like sweat / BO. Like a man used super fruity deodorant to cover up being at the gym. Not adding to my collection personally. Wish that dirty BO note wasnt so strong. Longevity and sillage is crazzzzy strong! Its still good, dont get me wrong. Just recommend to test on your skin first in case it pulls musty on you like it did for me.

Limonata Narcotica opens reminiscent of ripe mango dusted with Tajín seasoning, with some fresh citrus squeezed on it. When I first smelled it, I thought it leaned slightly feminine, but the longer I wore it, the more it revealed a balanced, unisex scent that feels equally suited to anyone. Longevity and projection are impressive—easily lasting 8 hours or more on my skin, with a noticeable presence on my clothes for around 2 days.

I didn’t expect much from this, since my first sample from this brand was a bit of a let-down, but what a pleasant surprise! This is such a beautiful blend of juicy, succulent fruit and fresh marine notes. It’s perfectly fruity and tropical without being too sweet. I swear I can smell a very juicy watermelon, even though it’s not listed! I’d love to smell like this all summer long :)

Gave this a wear today. It's definitely in the same realm as God of Fire, 1907, Porthole, Tales of Zanzibar. I believe out of all of them, Limonata is my favorite. I'm enjoying the combination of mango & fig. Longevity and projection is pretty solid. So I think the high price is justified. If you're a fan of fruity fragrances this is, for sure, blind buy safe.

I love the marine, almost mineral, foundation for this freshie. It’s there from the start. I mistook it for woods early on. I did not get a blast of non citrus fruit in the opening. This leans masculine. One spray lasted ~90 minutes, neither great nor poor performance for this category. This is a rising house worth more sampling. 7/10.

Like the name suggests, a tropical sweet lemon drink. In the tropical perfume family, I think this is my favourite. It has the most character and I prefer lemon to pineapple. It's not for me but I'd like it on other people, especially the playful happy-go-lucky party types.

Grapefruit! Grapefruit for days! Mango is her co-star. I got a sample so I could start trying out scents for warmer weather. I like this - it's pleasant, smooth, and fruity. Not sure it's worth $300 a bottle, but I'm enjoying wearing it anyways.

It's pretty nice yet not worth the hype or price to me. Has similar vibes to me to other citrus freshies that would make Limonata redundant. Smells like a realistic grapefruit on dry on me. I'd rather wear GNTonic even if it's not dead on same.

@DJ252 the main terpene in mango, myrcene, is also very prevalent in cannabis. I could see how you could make that connection. For me, this is a bit to loud to wear everyday, but for a nice outdoor summer event you really can’t beat it.

i mainly got aquatic and fruity nuances. its good but nothing to ride home about. similar dna to sweet candy like fruity fragrances but this one is more aquatic and masculine. still, nothing to ride home about. 7.5/10

A very balanced citrus scent that feels genuinely gender neutral, fresh, but ultimately not that memorable-- sort of a nostalgic 90s gap vibe. Which I like, just not at this price point!

Reminds me of a cross between Simone Andreoli Sunplosion and Kerosene Summer of 84. Nothing unique really, a nice citrus summery fragrance but I prefer others.

So, I received a generous decant sample with my latest full bottle perfume purchase. I purchased IO.KO 1954 I Patchouly and a decant of Limonata was enclosed in the package. I'll preface my review by stating I am not a spritzy, fritzy, light 'n airy, citrusy, fruity kinda perfume woman. Aquatic, ethereal, citrusy, marine-type accords and notes are definitely not my jam. True to its description, Limonata is an airy, aromatic, extremely fruity (citrusy) fragrance. And while I say, "...man or woman, summer or fall...wear what you like when you like and wherever you like, no matter, etc...," I cannot imagine a guy pulling off this perfume. The opening is a pure, crystalline, nearly overpowering, aldehydic, peppery citrus concoction with grapefruit clearly evident. Watery, aquatic, marine-type notes meet the opening. The base is heavily laden with amber, moss, marine notes, other green stuff and lots of citrus, grapefruit, I'd say. Nice enough, if this is your preference. It's just not a fragrance I favor.

This is... fine? Its fine, everything's FINE. 😂 Actually I was super sad about this one bc on paper I was so sure it was love at first sniff. I thought I was getting myself into a very grown up Margarita profile, a hint of ocean in the background. Mango zipping up the middle. A touch of woods. On my skin the notes kind of fell apart. It became a basic citrus profile, masculine. I dont mind masculine, but there wasnt enough complexity in the profile to support it. Ginger is not really perceptible for me. Meant for for spring and moreso summer. Longevity is okay, sillage pretty good for the first hour or so. Fairly unisex but has that noticeable masculine. I cant help but feel the price tag isn't really justified- ingredients, blending, longevity. Its from a skilled perfumer but has a definite TikTok kind of vibe to it

This is literally almost 60-70% similar to porthole, now I actually prefer porthole over this and tales from zanzibar, limonata for me is a little too heavy in that aquatic note, the opening has like a little of this man aftershave which I really hate, in the dry down you get less of the aquatic notes and more mango with that grapefruit, is actually nice it’s literally a more fruity and aquatic porthole but that opening bro is trash, also this is nothing similar to 1907, 1907 is just a superior better quality mass appealing frag, I give it a 7/10

Either I am very impressionable, or this smells exactly like it says it will. It's relatively light in terms of intensity, which I like! But this is ultimately too 'tangy' or acidic for me - I get the grapefruit, an underripe mango, and ginger - all joining to be just a bit too sharp for me to enjoy. I do also get the marine and fig impressions. My partner noted this had the hamster wood shavings effect for him, but I didn't really detect notable woodiness.

Tropical fruits and grapefruit layered over the kind of Calone that has a watermelon vibe. Somehow just 'cheaper' smelling compared to the likes of Porthole, Tales from Zanzibar, et al, and there's something a little unclean and musty on the drydown. Starts strong, lasts long, but projection for me falls off after an hour or so to close wearing. IMO way overpriced at retail.

This was so sharp on my skin. It was headache inducing. I don’t think this is a safe blind buy. I think it could be extremely bright and very mood lifting on some but other others I think could have an experience like I did where it was just so sharp and aldehydic then it gave me an instant headache.

This is a new release, nothing special, very weak, and very common with other fragrances, very disappointing that it's not worth $300.

This one is just ok. Nothing truly special to justify it's price. It reminds me of a lemon flavored chewing gum.
