Nudiflorum

Nudiflorum. A name that makes you think, and reflect. Something that recalls the naked body and flowers. Skin Flower. The smell of skin, of bodies, which are not ours but someone else’s, male or female it doesn’t matter, that reaches deep down, in the most intimate part, covered in fleshy and carnal flowers, petal upon petal, a bed, a blanket. I tried other Nasomatto creations before landing on Nudiflorum. Black Afgano (Extrait de Parfum)Black Afgano Extrait de Parfum was the pioneer, then an adventure with Blamage (Extrait de Parfum)Blamage Extrait de Parfum, then it was the turn of Pardon (Extrait de Parfum)Pardon Extrait de Parfum, followed by Baraonda (Extrait de Parfum)Baraonda Extrait de Parfum, and now Nudiflorum. The idea, also this wrong, that it could be too floral has always discouraged me, but then I couldn’t resist. Here we are. The first explosion is bittersweet molecular rhubarb, more bitter than sweet, with greenish and spicy accents. Then dark and mysterious flowers follow. It is aldehydic and indolic, a hybrid between jasmine and tuberose. It is camphoraceous, natural and hypnotic. If there were a scarce specimen of black jasmine, then it would have this deep, carnal, earthy, slightly metallic aroma. It is so unusual, a mix between the synthetic and the corporal, a smell that reminds one of warm and moist, clean skin, like during a sauna or a Turkish bath, with musky sweat that surfaces and fills all the hidden parts, and mixes with the moods of the room. In the opening, Nudiflorum is strongly bitterish, with a massive floral and fruity accord, and a pungent tone, the metallic and plastic aldehydes that remind of hairspray. For a while, the perfume maintains this mood. Then something happens, as if the heat of the blood flowing in the veins sets this concoction on fire, causing a thick cloud of smoke. Now there is a smell of burnt rubber, on a base of resins and leather, a little balsamic, mentholated, dry and animalic. The synthetic molecular part has calmed down. I can’t figure out which note or chord is addictive. The more I smell it on my skin, the more I feel the need to smell it again and again. Hidden in the folds is a musky, dewy and soapy rose, which doesn’t smell like a rose, but tries at all costs to appear like a rose. It insinuates itself between the white petals, creating a whole with the scents of jasmine and tuberose. In this orgy of smells, an erotic galbanum is also added, green, intense, dense. Maybe it is intentional, but sometimes the perfume takes on a sweaty tone, as if there were a secret ingredient that makes it vicious and vulgar, or something else that I cannot say here, but never disgusting or unpleasant. The dry-down becomes smoky, ashy, and leathery. Some nuances remind of Shurah and Solitaire, the same smoky, dusty, animalic, dry and leathery aroma. I can’t say if they are copies, clones or inspirations of each other. They have similar accords, and the same character, they are birds of a feather. It’s dirty, but in a good way, earthy and slightly woody. There is a kind of dustiness, it is not talcum, but more like chalk and dust. And a lot of musk, green and powerful musk. Perhaps, the muskiness comes from both musk and moss and, like other Nasomatto creations. It has a lot in common with body odour. And the wood is cedar, dry and pungent. So, Nudiflorum is a non-linear perfume that goes through massive floral accords, then smoky and ashy and finally leathery and musky. The wet musk is a bed to lie on, the dry leather is the smell of bodies, the green galbanum represents the man, and the dusty buds suggest the woman. This is a breeding ground for wild, rough and primal relationships. All other accords, scents and moods are what remain after the peak. Of course, each of us has lived our own experiences, and my association may differ from yours. You don't have to be dirty, naughty, or perverted to appreciate it. I think Nudiflorum is very difficult to understand, and this would explain an average rating of around 8, but with a strong dominance of lower ratings. It is strange, peculiar, different from all floral genres, and anything that is not ordinary is scary. It is ideal for evening and night events, best during the autumn and winter months. Dose it with caution if you intend to wear it during the day indoors. Don’t worry about performance, it is a niche Nasomatto jewel that lasts a lifetime. My rendition is based on a bottle I have had since December 2024.

Nudiflorum caught my eye due to the notes and of course, the quite interesting reviews. When I first got the bottle I immediately sprayed it to test it. I like to test the fragrance right as I get it and after I let it sit just for fun to see the transformation that occurs with most fragrances. Let's just say it smelled amazing from the first day to even now, which is a month later. It's a floral at its heart but it comes with a beautiful price. That price is the animalic side which may be perceived differently based on skin chemistry. Now, I know when most people see the word animalic they think "ew, animal notes!" it is animalic but on the human side -- since we of course are animals too. Nudiflorum has this odd profile that wisps in and out as the perfume fuses with your skin. You will catch whiffs and think "What is that? I can't quite place my finger on it...". It will constantly dance on your skin and to your nose, and you will be driven mad trying to figure out what the peculiar scent might be.. is it sweat? is it something more?... no one really knows. Now, do not perceive the wisping like the airiness of perfumes such as baccarat rouge 540 -- this is a different type of wisp, it's a specific note that comes in and out of play that you will not smell the entire time. It will randomly come and go and hit you with its pungency. This perfume is NOT light in the least bit. Nudiflorum has a density to it that I quite like and even crave now. On my skin, there are hints of floral but it is the animalic note that takes the reigns for up to 5-8 hours for this fragrance. It's a powerhouse and people may recoil at first but they will come back to question more about the scent as it becomes addicting to the nose to try to figure out exactly what the scent profile is -- it's a fun experience. Around the 6-8 hour mark, it does tone down to a very lovely floral but that wisp I spoke of is still there, teasing you ever so gently. I used 3 sprays and it lasted till the next morning and it had become just a whisper on my skin, but a beautiful one. I still to this day have no idea how to properly describe this (I tried my best) -- but it's damn good. It's pungent in the best way. People will notice this fragrance and will be very intrigued. As another reviewer said this scent would definitely be on a woman or man who is about to give you the night of your life. I'd like to say the animalic scent almost smells like two people who both smelled carnal just made love and that is the juice within this beautiful bottle. I blind-bought this fragrance and was not disappointed but I do not recommend others to blind-buy it as it may not be something you will enjoy. Test first. :)

EN. This perfume cannot be described, using a banal list of ingredients, inspired by a stormy imagination of someone. Because, I think we don’t have necessarily invent something about every new perfume if even the creator himself has not considered necessary to do it. Often we are ordering the perfumes only by the list of ingredients, influenced by words, which don't express any meaning in the world of artistic perfumery. The perfumes of Alexander Gualtieri are distinguished precisely by the irregularity of the sensations, they are not constructed according to a banal olfactory system. Here everything suddenly mixes, just to be calm down then in unexpected way, and it explodes again with the new olfactory sensations. Perhaps I would describe this fragrance as the freshness of the just extended laundry, just because everyone has a different image of the smell of fresh laundry. These are feelings, images and sensations, not the list of ingredients. Personally, I order every new masterpiece of this Maestro directly online, without trying them before and I can say with certainty, that I have never been disappointed by his new creature. IT. I profumi di Alexander Gualtieri si distinguono proprio per l'irregolarità delle sensazioni, non sono costruiti secondo un banale sistema olfattivo. Qui tutto si mescola improvvisamente, per poi calmarsi nel modo inaspettato, e dopo si esplode di nuovo con le nuove sensazioni olfattive. Descriverei magari questo profumo come una freschezza del bucato appena esteso, proprio perché ognuno abbia un’immagine diversa di profumo del bucato. Questi sono i sentimenti, immagini e le sensazioni, non è un elenco di ingredienti. Io personalmente, ordino ogni nuovo capolavoro di questo Maestro direttamente online (cioè ad occhi chiusi) e posso affermare con certezza che non sono mai rimasto deluso dalla sua nuova creatura.

I actually *love* this perfume. To me, it's a 10/10, and I'll tell you why. The first time I smelled this from the nozzle in a shop, it reminded me of the Harrods perfume hall. I don’t get that association anymore, but at the time, the mix of notes made me correlate it with the overwhelming, all-encompassing scent of the world’s most famous perfume hall. A week or so later, I bought a sample of this (along with many other Nasomattos and Orto Parisis). I decided to try this one first. The first spray hit me with an intensity common in floral perfumes but rare in the fragrances I usually like. I got the rhubarb note, but after about five minutes, it faded, and I wasn’t sure what I smelled. After looking at the estimated notes on Fragrantica, I really picked up on that unripe banana smell of Amyl Salicylate. It also comes across to me as very green, like smelling the inside of snapped flower stems. I didn’t really like Nudiflorum at this point. On the second wearing, I started noticing the leather and animalic notes in the base—it actually reminded me of Cuoium by Orto Parisi. It feels like the same leather note is used in both. After another wearing or two, I ended up buying a bottle. Now, when I wear it, I get strong jasmine, so much so that it *almost* smells like ashy cigarettes. I also get a sweetness that could be likened to raspberry, along with the greenness of the Amyl Salicylate. It dries down into this *beautiful*, slightly sweet, animalic leather. I adore it! My favourite thing about this scent is that I can smell it all day with just a couple of sprays on my neck and a spray on my wrist. I feel enveloped by its scent bubble. It’s unique as hell to me, and I bloody love it. I've already bought a second bottle. The only downside is that it doesn’t seem to be a crowd-pleaser. I’ve found this isn’t for the casual nose and probably won’t come with many compliments.

I will try to be more realistic about this masterpiece this time. When it opens it is aldehydic (or it could be leather playing tricks with me) sweet but airy. Very unusual. Then as time passes (like three hours later) it is a but wet , still sweet and floral. Then it gets thicker and thicker and dry. Earthy, smokey and animalistic. It has something from both China White and Black Afgano. It lasts for days, even weeks on clothes and one spray is enough ( sprayer is very sensitive so you can dose well) ! Many say they smell ashtray in the drydown, I think it is cannabis note similar to Afgano. As for comparation to Soleil of Jeddah there are completely different and I tested SoJ in hope it would be similar.I didn't like it. SoJ is very dry oriental and linear on my skin. Nudiflorum changes all the time depending on skin and is very sensitive to temperature and humidity. So I get it. It can change on one person during single wear, let alone different people with variety of skin chemistry. Anyway it is least safe blind buy. Now I can't escape images I'm getting. I see greenhouse in some old villa not taken care of. It is still humid but not freshly watered. Some plants that are pulled out of ground are rotting in the setting sun. So there is some warmth but not much. There is some concrete pathway between plants that is wet. The person that supposedly takes care of garden smoked some joint and tossed it on the ground. Also left their leather jacket. It is very quiet almost in a holy way. This scenary gives me doomsday vibes. But life is still there, hiding, in some primitive/primal form. Where would I wear this? Especially since it is hated by many. A walk in nature by myself. Just me and this art we don't need anyone. Just pondering about life. But it is too sexual for just that. Heaven is a place on earth for two.

Picture a cabin in the woods, and two lovers staying inside. The man is wearing an old, worn down leather jacket, the woman is wearing nothing but a faint floral perfume, which almost disappeared to leave room to her natural scent. There's the smell of old paint on old wooden walls. Trees, damp moss and damp soil surround them. It just rained and some plants are releasing a fresh, green, almost lemony scent. This is what nudiflorum evokes to me. It smells like human bodies and nature, in the sexiest and most carnal way possible. But it also feels so incredibly comforting, like sleeping on your significant other's chest after having sex. It's sexy in a way that leaves room for love and comfort. I feel like I cannot fully detect all the notes listed, they just come out as a single scent, but I'll try: Leather is the most prominent note, but it's not a clean, powdery leather. It's a worn down old leather. Like that of an old jacket that has been worn and used for decades. I cannot smell any flowers aside from the faintest rose. There's something fruity and almost sour and lemony, which makes it smell somewhat like fresh paint. Not in a bad way tho, I actually love it. I can also detect the animalic notes, which are incredibly human-like. It smells kinda like the natural scent of someone's hair. Like hugging your loved one and smelling their hair. It's dirty, yet incredibly comforting. I'm not too much of a fan of other Nasomatto frags, but this one is in my top 3 of my favorite scents of all times. I love it so much that I had to buy 2 bottles of a dupe, so that I can spray it on before bed. I've developed an emotional bond to it. It clings to your skin, and over time it evolves around you, not over you. It's like slowburn love that develops over time. This is exactly what artistic perfumery should be.

Cuoium’s joyful younger...or older? brother. I’ve commented on this before, quite a few months ago. To my nose, it smelt of a mess, and that’s what I had to say of it. But after trying Cuoium in depth and letting this one macerate, I found a deep difference in smell and meaning here compared to last year. It’s taken on that true rhubarb smell, combined with a raspberry esque rose like opening, and cuoium’s tobacconist leatherworking. Hugely different to the linear toilet scent I smelt originally. This fragrance represents the line of Nasomatto exceptionally. Crazy Nose, crazy chemicals and the almost youthful freedom Gualtieri expressed in this line. Whereas Orto Parisi, equally as good has more cohesive, singular, united vision. Still challenging fragrances, but less questioning, and showing less anonymity compared to the OG chemical concoctions. The Nasomatto line to me (as a subjective experience) and this fragrance is more of a ying yang. Attempting, failing, journeying and questioning in the search of success. Beautiful, sometimes flawed messes. When it comes to Nudiflorum, I get both femininity and masculinity in this fragrance, nature and the natural; I.E leather saddles, florals, tobacco accompanied also by synthetic accords in the journey. Pure life, cleanly scents, dirtiness, love and death all in one bottle, but in the most beautiful captivating way possible. The Blueprint to Cuoium, yet quite distinct. Representative of the true creative and conceptual differences between Nasomatto and Orto Parisi.

Don’t let the light color of the juice fool you, this is a beauty and a beast. Here are some of my observations in regards of how Nudiflorum reads on my skin. First blast is an avant-garde explosion of rare jasmine paired to aldehydes, but don’t think of this as your typical white floral, this is a night metallic sharp jasmine note, unlike anything I’ve tried before, the use of aldehydes elevates the character of the floral introduction to eyebrows raising level, this is niche at its finest. Within the first half an hour the scent begins to transition loosing most of the metallic texture to become not necessarily smoky but instead what I smell is a combination of resins, spices and leather paired none funky agarwood to create a burnt rubber accord of a different kind with subtle bitter green nuances all dressed in a tonka like sweetness with the addition of jasmine to contrast the overall scent profile. Nudiflorum is somewhat rough around the edges but incredibly addicting due to the way in which it was contrasted, it is simultaneously dark and bright, sexy,alluring, majestic. If you like Boadicea The Victorious Complex you would be very pleased with Nudiflorum as they share a very similar olfactory profile, but the latest is more smooth around the edges. Longevity and projection on skin is out of this world, no complains about it. I’m very pleased with my purchase, and in fact not that it matters since perfume is a very personal thing, but I’ve already gotten a few unsolicited compliments from strangers.

Before I begin this review (which won't be much of a textbook "review")....let's give a rousing round of applause for the reviews posted before mine. I mean....wow! ----just "Wow!" Here's my review: I bought *Nudiflorum* because I read (somewhere) that there are notes in it that are also in Sarah Baker's delicious *Flame & Fortune* which is the perfume that (formally) introduced me to my fragrance spirit animal....Tuberose. Nudiflorum doesn't have Tuberose. I don't know what it has.....but I know what it does: It's one of my Top Three LAYERING BOMBS. (Another is DS & Durga's *Steamed Rainbow*) Last Sunday I layered *Nudiflorum* with Spiritica's *Mangomacumba*. It created something truly "another level" > a Mango Masterpiece 2.0. During this past week I layered *Nudiflorum* with an atypical Clandestine Labs creation *ASTORIA* which is a delicate rose petal gem - The combination blew the roof off the greenhouse. (I'm not kidding when I tell you that I heard the rose petals SCREAMING "WHAT THE F**K WAS THAT!?!?!?!" Spectacular. Yesterday I sprayed Nudiflorum with Ex Nihilo *Explicite*. It was fantastic. You know how people say they "got compliments"? I GOT COMPLIMENTS (comments and compliments....to be fair and honest). *Nudiflorum* was created to enhance other perfumes. It is not meant to be worn alone. There you go.

Alessandro Gualtieri is one of the great ‘noses’ of our time. Certainly, his creations are not for everyone; I happen to love his style, which is bold, unapologetic, provocative and trendsetting (just how many copies of Black Afgano or Baraonda are there in the world?!) In spite of being bold and assertive, his creations are totally wearable, provided that you don’t overspray! Nudiflorum is mindbogglingly beautiful. Although nominally unisex, it’s actually quite feminine; although very strong, it is also pleasant and snuggly. I don’t care if it’s 100% synthetic, it works for me! The opening is kinda similar to MFK Oud Satin Mood Extrait, minus the vanilla, with smokey oud and rose initially dominating the proceedings. Then I can smell a mixture of aldehydes, vetiver, oud, moss, weed (?), spices (oregano - as in Black Afgano!), flowers (iris, rose, jasmine, maybe violet), soft leather and white musk. It smells like walking into a very luxurious beauty salon, filled with a thick aroma of expensive creams, makeup and other products for face, body and hair, not to mention warm, slightly sweaty bodies wrapped in fluffy towels. The drydown resembles Black Afgano, because the powderiness vanishes and we’re left with herbal and floral notes. Nudiflorum is simultaneously retro and avantgarde, pungent and comforting. 10/10

I first tested Nudiflorum because I used to own Nuda (discont'd) from the same brand and thought this might be similar. They are not, at all. Nuda was almost a jasmine soli-note, very feminine, quite airy, slightly fruity, and (after a big opening) wore close to the skin. Nudiflorum is none of these. There is jasmine here, alright, but it's paired with a fierce oily, tarry leather note a la Bandit and that makes all the difference. Its structure resembles L'Eau Scandaleuse by Anatole Lebreton, which is a similar white floral + leather-turpentine perfume, but Nudiflorum opens with a richer, fruitier floral note and is more oud-like in the base. It's energizing, natural-yet-industrial smelling and beauitfully balanced between the floral and leather. Nudiflorum is one of my favourite perfumes but it's quite confrontational and has an insane sillage & lasting power - it can be quite difficult to apply an appropriate amount. Even compared to the strong concentration of most Nasomatto scents, this is seriously powerful. When I tested ithe perfume in the shop one spray lasted on my jacket sleeve for months. I own the 4ml roller-ball perfume oil and that should keep me going for decades; often I don't even feel the need to put it onto my skin, just sniffing the vial is enough.

Yes fellas, Alexandre Gaultieri never reveals the ingredients of his recipees (neither for his first brand Nasomatto, nor for the second Orto Parigi) and for this masterpiece of his, Nudiflorum, the story is no different, what you are seeing in the fragrantica perfume pyramid above, misses the main ingredient around which the entire Nudiflorum concoction is centered, and that is the molecule called "Isobutyl Quinoline" , many people claim that it's a leathery accord, but to my nose it smells very close to burnt tire and the smell coming out when someone drives a car for 15kms with hand brakes on, and donot get me wrong, I love that chemical, I frankly do, it just seems to be a bit overdosed here, still I adore this perfume for the sake of its bold signature and its selfconfidence for blending so many at first sight unrelated seeming elements so perfectly within each other, which is why I am using this olfactive gem even in spring time so frequently, and it ravishes me every time that I spray it right from the first sniff on, and if you like this core element of the perfume, I strongly suggest you to try also Julien Rasquinet's mesmerizing recipee "Black Powder" as well, launched by the house "Jusbox" and let us enjoy that mighty overdose of Isobutyl Quinoline in both

This scent makes me want to take a bite out of my skin, it is DELICIOUS. The first time I smelled it (just from the bottle and blotter strip), I liked it, but it didn't do anything spectacular for me. BUT THEN, I sprayed it on myself and genuinely could not stop smelling myself all day -- I truly kept thinking "damn, I would have sex with myself just because of this scent." This scent is sexy and mysterious with the woody, leather and animalic base -- with a fun twist with it's fruity, surprisingly sweet rhubarb top note. It is the perfect mix of playful and seduction... a true flirt in a bottle. This is a scent that lasts FOREVER. Spray it on an article of clothing, and the smell will not vanish until you wash it. A little goes a LONG WAY. As mentioned by other users, you can use only 2 sprays and you are set for the day. I would warn not to overspray (3+) as it can become incredibly overpowering to some. Though this is probably my favourite scent of all time, it just ignites such a visceral reaction in me, I can see how this scent is not for everyone. It is definitely dependent on your natural chemistry, as it does not suit everyone's skin well (some people make it smell bitter/acidic) so I would recommend testing it beforehand.

As a fan of the Nasomatto line, I was curious to pick up a bottle of Nudiflorum. I am wearing it as I type, having applied 4 sprays about 8 hours ago. Let's talk about performance first. Strong projection for about 6+ hours. Has it retreated to a skin-scent? Not sure, I am still getting wafts. Longevity is typically good with Nasomatto perfumes and Nudiflorum is no exception. Sillage is always difficult for me to judge as I am always "ahead" of my scent. Compliment factor? So far, none :-( So how does it smell? Starts off very floral. Boom, in your face floral. After about 30 minutes, the animalics (musk) start to take over and that is when I really start to appreciate this scent. This stage lasts a long time. I read a review saying that it smells like an ashtray. That is way off. What it REALLY smells like perfume on a smoker. Not the nasty, putrid old-time smoker, who reeks of cigarettes, but the light smoker, who is also clean and well-kempt and who has applied some flowery, musky perfume. Now this may turn some off, but for me, it is VERY comforting. That being said, I strongly urge a test before making a purchase. I am quite happy with it, but readily admit, this scent won't be for everybody.

I decided to buy Nudiflorum because the concept behind the fragrance intrigued me, and after learning more about that, I decided I wanted to smell like that. I blind bought it (don't do that). Let me start by saying I’m no perfume expert nor some perfume snob, but I’ll try to describe what this experience smelled like. At first, I pictured a woman wearing some clean (musky I guess?) perfume and a leather jacket while smoking a cigarette. As the scent developed a bit, I began to detect reaaallly beautifull but gentle floral notes that softened the leather (and the leather note itself is truly beautiful and photorealistic/animalic) but then... I have no idea whats happening (I need to study the scent more) but I just don't know. It's like you smell something for the first time and you have no idea what's that and it's beautiful. Personally I really like the scent and for me it's really addicting and i can't find a bad thing to say about nudiflorum and the quality of it.. maaaan... Masterpiece. but... when i entered my room (where I was trying out nudiflorum)the next day it smelt really animalic maybe i could say like cat piss and usually my room smells like roses or lotus from my mists lol

Nudiflorum was the first fragrance which blew my socks off into the opposite side of the shopping centre. I never found them)) When I first smelt the lid, I was impressed: how could a fragrance be so PERFECT??? I kept smelling it and felt my knees getting weak!! Really! Never ever I lost my head over a perfume so quick and easy! Needless to say I bought it there and then without testing the longevity. For me Nudiflorum was a combination of woods, smoke, and leather, the sexiest fragrance I've tried. When I smelt it I could imagine semi dark room with leather armchairs, trail of smoke floating across, hot breath and two naked silhouettes. For whatever reason after couple of days wearing Nudiflorum, I started smelling marijuana in it, (it turned me away quite a bit) and when it disappeared some days later I was left with flowers. Strong, intoxicating flowers... Nudiflorum is my most passionate love affair and my biggest confusion. At the moment, I'm giving it a break, who knows, I might get my sexy leathers and woods back one day. Oh right, and those hot breaths of course. Longevity: 12 hours + Sillage : strong for 2-3 hours from skin, forever from clothes.

This is a beautiful and unique perfume . If any of you don’t smell a beautiful perfume, u have a fake. Nasomatto perfumes are being faked big time. They’re all coming out of Russia . The most popular sellers like black Afgano and the discontinued ones like Nuda and Nudiflorum have been faked most. Be very careful. eBay is a huge breeding ground for fakes sold by the Russian federation. And eBay is making millions off of them so u can complain all u want, they will not do anything about it, but they will ban you for complaining. I see so many ppl who are crying coz they were ripped off. Well what do u expect? You’re not gonna get a legit Baccarat Rouge 540 extrait for $110. No way no how never not in this universe. It screams fake but some ppl are basically idiots. I get u want an expensive perfume, so buy decants. You can buy a legit 10ml of pretty much any expensive perfume for $45. And 10 ml lasts a looong time too. Facebook groups are great for that. Still even there u need to ask around in the group to verify the seller u want to buy from.

I have to hand it to Alessandro Gualtieri for making artistic and conceptual fragrances that don't focus on mass appeal, yet somehow manage to be mass appealing to the broadest niche fragrance crowd (which is very broad at this point). His skill at making deeply sensual, "intimate" fragrances with taboo themes that are both true to their creative concepts *and* wearable is arguably unmatched. Nudiflorum is no exception: it is the smell of the natural, invisible ecosystem that lives beneath intimacy--the scents that arouse and embarrass, the desires that sweep us away and sometimes repulse us. Yet it works, not just as fuel for eroticism, but as a wearable fragrance. Overall, it does what the best fragrances do: it evokes feelings, drives, and imagination. It speaks in moans, whispers, and sighs, all without making a sound. Far from soulless, this fragrance will elicit a wide variety of reactions. Go easy on the trigger: it has epic performance and clings as stubbornly as the memory of a lover's scent.

Sweet baby Jesus, or as our brothers to the south call you, Jesús! I sprayed this in Tucson, and mija called me from Casa Grande like, “papi, are you wearing quasimodo [sic]? I can smell it from here!” This stuff doesn’t project—it teleports. Every time I wear this fragrance I get compliments, but only from gay men. It’s like the scent comes with built-in gaydar. I’ve never had a perfume so specific in its target audience, so I figured it was my duty to spread the gospel: if you're a gay man in need of a new signature scent, consider this your official endorsement from the fragrance fairy godmother. You're welcome. Dee Luis below is also right when he says this is sex in a bottle. It's raw, intimate and southernly decadently indecent in the best possible way. There’s a creamy, musky warmth, like toned bare bodies under linen sheets after hours of tangled closeness. I'm going to layer this with Gualtieri's Seminalis because if sex had a smell stripped of cliché and soaked in truth this would be it.

I suspect the mixed reviews come from the tendency of people to judge a fragrance by smelling the application spot. That's reasonably fine for most fragrances, although it is never optimal. The best way to judge a fragrance if you smell whiffs of it in the air. That's where the notes get blended the way they were intended. Some fragrances can smell downright terrible on the application spot, but wonderful in the air. This one does not smell very good on the application spot, but since I don't consider that a valid way to judge it, this will all be based on how it smells in the air. This is a delightful frangrance. Green with some extra power. And it's unique. A bit daring. And for me, it took a little getting used to, but the uniqueness made it addictive to me. Definetely not a blind buy. But if you connect with it, you'll be getting a bottle immediately. Longevity and projection are both superb. There is nothing lacking about it when it comes to performace.
