Amor América Palo Santo

AAPS feels like a traditional EdC a la 4711 or JMF however with a strong woody note without the feeling of dense molecules to the nose - for those familiar with the smell of palo santo smoke (in Argentina and Brazil, for deodorizing rooms or, for the superstitious, more interesting, keep evil spirits away :) imagine the palo santo without the notes that are typical of smoke. The result is truly unique. The blend does not evolve much, the strong palo santo note is still present in the mid and the base notes, I can get the presence of white musks and even some undetermined floral notes, but not to the point of significant changes. It is really a pity Natura delisted it. Let's hope they will release it again in the future.

This is a deeply sensual and intense delight. Very exotic, very beautiful woods and resins, and I'm sure I can smell patchouli. The notes listed don't seem to reflect my experience of this, except the vetiver, which is wonderful, and of course the incense and resins. There just seems to be a lot more to it than the notes say. It's a gorgeous, incensey, woodsy, patchouli (gorgeous), oriental, exotic and very sensual perfume on my skin. I love it.

I just got this bottle , a friend brought it back for me from Brazil I understand its no longer available in the shops and this one comes from a private household. I am not so sure if what I am smelling is palo santo wood ( i will check it next time i am in Brazil) but it has more floral notes than I expected and definate notes of cedar. Nice for hot climates and I like it Have to update my review. Unfortunately there is always a good reason why something has been discontinued In this case is the longevity which is about 10 min. What a disappointment. (If I had to pay for this I be real upset)

I have been retrying this one and still think that the longevity is very poor and the scent is somewhat weak, on my skin anyway. but the smell is intriguing and very pleasant and easy to wear.
