This is the right alternative if you are looking for something along the lines of Dior Sauvage EdT but at an affordable price - they are not the same, not similar either, they only share the ambroxane, the compositions are different and that is noticeable in the middle and base notes; I assume it is because of the presence of incense, breu branco and palo santo - the sensation is of earthy notes. The blend's evolution shows great complexity. How original is it with respect to DS? Judging by the test I did, very much so. Smelled from afar it is more difficult to say. For those who consider sillage and longevity to be relevant when deciding on a purchase, rest assured that in that respect BA does not disappoint at all. Even with its negative points, it is a great option for its price / quality ratio. Addenda: at first smell I cannot avoid thinking of Sauvage' average user. Edit: the mid and basenotes are those of Sauvage EdP. The only difference is the top notes. So, if you are ready to give these up, you would end up paying 1/4 of Sauvage EdP's price.
