Essencial Oud Pimenta

This is an undeniably unique fragrance. When it comes to value for money given its proposal and delivery, it's unbeatable. Recognizable from a distance within seconds. I was immediately captivated and got the adorable 25ml miniatures (which, for such a bold scent to be worn in the northeast of Brazil, is more than enough for a long long time). It has a distinct oud, unique to Natura's Essencial line, which feels artificial and clean and is quite pleasing. The scent is very sweet - reminiscent of tree sap and dark, damp, decaying wood. It's a non-gourmand type of sweetness. Initially, I considered this perfume among the top 5 national fragrances, even receiving compliments, particularly from younger women, which seems counter-intuitive given its olfactory profile. However, over time, this sweetness began to bother me, seeming more dominant with each use. I don't know if it's due to the fragrance aging in the bottle, but this sweet note seems to overshadow the other notes. Right now, I'm testing four fragrances on my arm. Among them, the woodsy sweetness of Oud & Spice stands out most prominently, almost overshadowing its other layers, while the other three fragrances (two Diors and one ADP) maintain their structure. I've revised my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars due to this.

This perfume, considering its price, does justice to AdP's Oud, the best oud note I've ever smelled in perfumery. If Natura has indeed discontinued it, they've removed from the catalog a perfume with the potential to be one of the house's greatest classics. It falls between AdP's Oud and Oud & Spices, the latter being one of my favorite scents in all perfumery, but it's dirty, decadent, hermetic, and animalic. It's not a perfume you wear to please everyone. Oud Pimenta, on the other hand, is its pop version: round, quite sweet (don't be fooled by the comments; the perfume is still quite sweet, although not in a gourmand way), and with a "clean," earthy-chocolatey, and comfortable oud, probably the easiest-to-please oud note I know. There is no (or, unfortunately, was no) better cost-benefit ratio in national perfumery.

"Is that that you did not bathe?, asked my daughter. "Does it smell awfull?" "No, it smells fine, however, it is odd. Smells like body odor, but it smells good." To my nose, way more oudy than the rest of the Esaencial Oud. This means more woody and animalic, I would say much more animalic that Kouros or Weil pour Homme. I cannot avoid thinking of wild, beastly sex when smelling this one. Maybe, what ELDO's Tom of Finland should have been.

High class aroma at an unbeatable price. Great bang for your buck. A major compliment puller.

Perfume top demais, cheiro performance tudo é bom nele

Probably my least favorite of the line for the reason that it's the least unique. This smells like many other rose-ouds out there with that clean, synthetic, almost bandaid-ey oud which calls to mind (as others mentioned) AdP Oud, MFK Oud, and other Middle Eastern blends. Unfortunately I don't get as much fruitiness as I'd like and I actually wish the pepper was stronger, as well as some of the stronger base notes which would give this a bit more of a complex character. All that being said, this is still a really nice scent. It smells high quality, it's well blended, it has some of that sensuality that are present in the other two fragrances of the line, and it's strong! My opinion is definitely colored by having owned and experienced other rose-ouds before that this particular blend is not all that out of the ordinary. But for a "budget" "designer" (I don't like to use those two words to describe this brand, but they're probably the best ones to use) brand like Natura, and for the price, this is a great scent and would be a good intro to the "Middle Eastern" scent family if you've never delved into it before. I also don't have a rose-oud at the moment (RIP to my Santal Royal) so this will do the job for the time. Overall, I like it, but less than the other two scents in the Essencial Oud line. I'll def still be wearing it and see if my opinion changes upon maceration, though. 7/10

A good purchase, but not for me... This fragrance opens with a spicy-fruity notes, with strawberry being the most predominant for me, As the fruity notes fade, the rose becomes more noticeable, and a green-woody combination emerges, which i believe comes from the oud, leather and vetiver, overall, it is fruity-rose-woody fragrance. This reminded me of another leather-rose fragrance, but the fruity notes give this one a certain uniqueness. At times, it gives off femenine vibes, and i prefer another fragrances instead. That's why i couldn't wear it. Projection: 2 hours Duration: 8+ hours Use: Versatile (Cold-Spring weather) Age: 35+ Tpi: Mature woman in everyday work. Alternatives: Is a good purchase 30 USD in my opinion. However, if u want smell more masculine i recommend u the other Essencial ouds. *tpi - type of person i imagine wearing it.
