#1198 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Wow! What a great scent. One of three Natura EDPs I still didn't own, just delivered by Fedex. This is a very well-designed bottle and sprayer. Worked perfectly first spritz and this scent is just top drawer stuff, and very complex, ever evolving. Like every good smell I've ever smelled in the forest or in the desert in one fragrance. Nothing in my experience to compare it to. This is not similar to Santal 33. Not at all. Far better, and far less money at $50 on PureBrasil.com. Interestingly, I ordered O Boticario "Zaad Santal" on the same order, but PureBrasil.com emailed me they had a stock mismatch and refunded that part of the order, so I'm waiting for it to restock. I'm excited people were reminded of the Zaad scent when they smelled this, because if Zaad Santal smells anything like this I will love it too. This scent is quite complex, and the olibanum is strong, but not strong enough to be off-putting unless you overspray. Still, for me it's more date wear than office wear. I think it's masculine, but I wouldn't find it out of place on a woman. It's the best Natura I have so far. Only "Kaiak", "Coragio", "ReConnecta" left to try.

This is the first fragrance I bought from this house, and it definitely want be the last. If you have ever smelled Louis Vuittons Lovers, this is so dam close that it's scary. So elegant and sophisticated that you're not going to believe that it's so darn good. Lovers is around 350-400 and you can pick this up way cheaper not an Armaf price, but still way better than Louis Vuitton's version.

Precisa-se acostumar com cheiros bem diferentes que o povo brasileiro gosta , esse perfume é bem temperado e suculento por conta da nota de figo e macio devido ao sândalo de fundo juntamente com a fava tonka , mais no clima certo que eu diria : outono e primavera cai como uma luva . The following review was written in the last days of January as the response to a request from a Fragrantica member. It is hard to say which fragrance smells like Emocione and vice-versa, for a close comparison. As I can recall, Avon had one called Aromadisiac for him which was discontinued years ago. You can find it here [Fragrantica]. It was about fig and leather and I particularly did not like it. But when I first smelled Emocione, Aromadisiac was the only fragrance to emerge from my olfactory memory. Emocione is far much better made than that. It evolves around fig, exotic Amazonian flowers (most notably pataqueira) and sandalwood. Do not expect traditional flowers. The most honest way to describe them is: that green and natural sap smell you get when you pick an ordinary wild flower or herb. That is why it is not wise to smell Emocione directly where you applied. It is actually very strange and scary. Reason why it had such a low acceptance in the Brazilian market with youtubers speaking badly about it and wearers giving it away. Brazilian people are crazy about fragrances, but, as you might know, as many others around the globe, they look for “easy”, crowd pleasing fragrances. And Emocione is definitely not one of them. After that strange opening mix with a combination of woods, these become more evident. I have learned that for perfumers to produce a fig note, it is necessarily to put a lot of ingredients that mimic wood and woody notes. You might get a bit of pencil shavings smell at a certain point. And, yes, it becomes more “tamed” during its development on the skin. I would say that the amber and the vanilla are the ones that make Emocione milder and (very slightly) sweeter than the traditional bitter fig and/or fig leaf based fragrances available out there. Although it is a very woody fragrance, Emocione is also very fresh. When let alone, it works beeeautifully on the skin. That type of fragrance that allows you to move and leave a subtle, exquisite trail of something so soothing you ask yourself: “where is that coming from? Oh, it is me!” That is the sandalwood, musk and clean woods from the pyramid base working after hours you’ve applied it. I must say you can detect them from the opening but they will be partially hidden by other notes. You asked me: is it nice? I believe you are satisfied to read good things about Emocione at this point. And you can come to a very natural conclusion: yes, it is. But have this in mind: it is not an “easy” fragrance. I would say it is more towards the niche. And taking into account that Natura included it in their international catalog, is it quite understandable they wanted to offer something really exotic to overseas markets. Another thing: Emocione will vary dramatically depending on how you wear it. When sprayed a foot away from the skin, it will unfold its pyramid more dynamically and faster. The opening and the heart will be more prominent and easily perceptible and the woody base will last a bit less. But when sprayed close to the skin or even dabbed (as I like to do. I keep a small vial with about ten sprays in it for that purpose), oh..., Good Lord! How heavenly...! Sometimes I wear it to bed. It lingers on the sheets for about two nights. Figure it on clothes. Oh, and before I forget: Emocione is potent. It has a great sillage. Caution is advised. In case you are familiar with the fair, luminous, friendly and joyful Ferrari Noble Fig, let us put it like this: Homem Emocione would be its dark, serious, seductively mysterious sibling. In the Brazilian market Emocione is available in body spray and eau de parfum, both in 100ml (3.4 oz) and some other items like shower gel, after-shave... (not very sure about them in the international catalog). I truly hope this review was good enough to help you make up your mind or simply make an idea of what you are “messing with”.

Literally, a very complex olfactive soup. One can get this and that note, harsh and the beginning, mellower at the end. Top notes: Cardamom, Black Pepper, Grapefruit, Nutmeg - mostly spiced grapefruits, so yes, these are very evident to the nose. These mellow minutes after application. Mid notes: Fig, Cactus Flower, Pataqueira, Paramela, Violet, Lavender, Geranium, Sage - well, not so. Floral, yes. The problem is defining which one, so far, I would say geranium, however, somehow with some astringency. The feeling is that of soiled flowers, the spices still present. Definitely not that original, I can recall these in other popular scents. Base notes: Sandalwood, Olibanum, Musk, Leather, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Amber, Cashmeran - This is where the blend becomes interesting, the feeling is that of very graceful balsamic notes that make all the difference. As far as my nose goes, I would say sandalwood plays a central role. At the time I wrote the first edition of this review I did not have the chance of giving it a full wear; at that time I wasn't that enthusiast, I was left with a feeling of ambivalence since other Natura's smell much better. Now, this time that feeling did not change much. It is a fine composition with not so nice top and mid notes but with excellent base notes, even better if sprayed on clothes. I would suggest this if you like Le Labo Santal 33 and, after comparing both and finding them very close or similar, choose Natura after the difference in price - this is not my case, I did not have the chance of trying Le Labo's so I cannot say much other than this. Now, if you like Natura's scents, I would give other ones a chance before this one.
