Nuit En Siberie

This mysterious shamanic brew to me is unique in that I have never smelled a perfume similar to it. Dark, heavily balsamic, it doesn't have annoyingly synthetic notes that are so often prevalent in modern aromatic frags. One of my favorites and perfect for entering a dreamy trance with images of herb-infused rituals on a dark Siberian night forming in the mind (or dressing up as a shaman from the Far East for Halloween lol). It's a winter fragrance, but I can also enjoy wearing it in the summer, though it seems less appropriate. Lasting power: pretty much forever on clothes and hair (I washed my hair very carefully and still got remnants of the scent on it). Possibly because all of the notes in La Nuit en Siberie can be considered base notes, what you get in the dry-down and its remains on clothes/hair are pretty much as rich as it is in its overture. That is what I especially love about this frag, seeing as so many perfumes, despite providing a beautiful journey for the first few hours, end up sooner or later settling on clothes and hair into a linear base note, often either boring or cloying. The price tag in the Natura Siberica stores around my place is a bit less than the 100 Euro mentioned in the previous comment - it's more like 100 dollars for 100 ml, which I think is decent for such a frag (gosh I have sampled so many perfumes that are two or three times that price and are much plainer, not as well-blended and really poor on longevity and sillage). Nuit en Siberie is definitely my favorite perfume from the Natura Siberica line (I also love Gold of Tuva, but I find it to be not nearly as impressive and unusual as Nuit en Siberie).

Best of four imho and really decent frag ! But price tag (~100 Euro) is just ridiculous ...
