Siberie Mon Amour

The magic of this perfume is that it tricks you into thinking "oh, it's a pine smell, and maybe basil", but in fact none of these are present in the mix. The pepper is very obvious, but not offensive, and the amber serves as a perfect base for the spicy herbal blend. If feels even more like pine forest in cold weather, while in warm temperatures the scent is more about steppe - the duality is a perfect metaphor for Siberia in my opinion. On my skin the perfume sits rather close, without much projection, but is confidently lasting, i'd say up to 3-4 hours at least.

This is unique. Like a very relaxed walk through endless snowy pine woods. Quiet and intimate. Longevity is more than decent (around 8 hours), sillage is moderate and absolutely inoffensive. To my nose artemisia, mint and rosemary are very prominent here, amber gives the scent a lovely roundness. Unfortunately my husband thinks this perfume smells of funeral - well, he obviously senses woods, trees and certain earthy grassiness. I like this scent very much, reminds me of my trip to Russia.

For me it smells like pine, cedar and resin. Very natural, realistic smell of wood, but not of forest - of cut pine log. Of fresh resin - the tears of trees. I dont feel any grass and any spices in it. It lasts long and is rather strong, unlike most natural and realistic fragrances. If i could choose a name for it, i would call it "Crying Tree".
