Nautica Voyage Heritage

I often find that many reviews of Nautica Heritage come from a somewhat snobbish perspective, unfairly judging it based on its price point rather than its actual performance. Yes, this is an inexpensive fragrance — but it does exactly what it’s meant to do: make you smell pleasant, clean, and inviting. Out of all the Nautica offerings, Heritage stands out as my personal favorite. The opening is bright and refreshing, led by a crisp blend of mint and rosemary that immediately provides a cooling, aromatic freshness. What sets it apart, though, is the warmth that subtly lingers behind the freshness — a nuance not often found in other aquatic-leaning scents. As it dries down, the lavender begins to take center stage, softening the sharp edges and steering the fragrance into a more comforting, almost cozy direction. The transition from an unmistakably masculine opening to a more gentle, inviting finish makes this fragrance quite versatile. Nautica Heritage may not be groundbreaking or complex, but for an affordable daily wear scent, it delivers beautifully. Its simple yet elegant blend of aromatic freshness and soft woods makes it ideal for casual wear, work, or even close encounters where you don’t want to overpower the room but still want to be noticed in a positive way

I don't know why people wouldn't recommend this for the fall as it does smell like autumn leaves... I don't remember getting anywhere with it in the winter, but if you're feeling it, wear it! f*ck what everybody else thinks. I consider this fragrance a well-blended, smooth, shower-clean, fresh aromatic fragrance with a lean almost on the bitter side of tropical. Nautica Voyage Heritage hits an incoming ocean breeze vibe that stays consistent, has actually pretty strong sillage and great performance. I often find myself reflecting on how unique this perfume is every time I wear it. It has the salty vibe of CK Eternity Now, but don't expect any sweetness here; this isn't chill beachy, it's ocean-seeking. With a price this cheap it warrants a blind buy to see if you like the fragrance profile, because it's somewhat eccentric.

Just blind bought this. I love all the Nautica fragrances, and have been wearing them since the original back in the 90s. I will say, this hits me as Nautica Voyage, mixed heavily with Nautica Competition (grey bottle). Much more of a sophisticated take on Voyage, almost being a grown up version. So far, about 4 hrs on skin, and I am sure more on clothes. Highly recommend if you don't want to spend the ridiculous prices on a vintage bottle of Competition.

So much better then the regular voyage. Less synthetic and more of a shower gel type scent. Very sporty would go nuts in the gym. Longevity and silage are pretty good too. Overall its nothing crazy but definitely worth it for the price.

I have all voyage flankers and original, I think this is the best voyage in terms of scent profile at least. This is fire.

So The Original Nautica Voyage was most definitely a banger for me. The ladies are in love with it. But when I first got this one I was NOT a fan. I blind bought it and wasn't impressed until maybe 30 minutes later I fell in love with it. It's actually quite romantic to me. It smells really suave. A bit more mature than the original Voyage but not something you would smell on a much older gentleman It's not mind-blowing but I really love it for what it is. A nice work scent or even a date vibe. I fell asleep smelling this last night and it smelled quite intimate to me. 7/10 I'm excited to continue collecting Nautica fragrances. It's just something about Nautica's DNA that's quite impressive. (Especially for the price) I also thought to myself wearing this that it reminded me of some cheap fragrance I had when I was a kid. Maybe axe? But NOT in a bad way. This doesn't smell cheap or diluted or childish, it just gave me a wave of deep nostalgia from one of those locked memories lol. Not much longevity so I get crazy spraying this work of art. I would definitely buy again.

I smelt this in store and was thrown back in time about 30 years! After racking my brain for the next few days it came to me - reminded me of my ol' faithful - Ralph Lauren Polo Sport. On dry down it actually gives off some more RL DNA with some of the aromatics that you get from Safari. Before people tell me it is nothing like it - caveat: this is a 30 year old recollection of two fragrances I had last century. I went back and bought this for my teenage son and I hope it brings him the same success that I had when I wore it! It is a clean, shower gel, gym friendly fragrance that disappears mid-morning and won't generate many compliments but it's a nice scent to have floating around the house in the morning. We live in a warm climate where we don't get really cold winters so this is approachable all year around. Overall, I think this fits into the categories of a safe starter fragrance for a young man or a cheapie for anyone that can live in the glovebox or the gym bag for the times when you get caught out.

Nautica Voyage Heritage has become my favorite cheapie. Maybe it's just been a while since I've smelled the standard Voyage, but to me this feels like it still has that same DNA despite sharing zero notes with the original. It opens with the fresh aquatic feel you come to expect from a Voyage flanker, with nice compliments of green wild mint and rosemary, and effervescent lavender. Ginger dominates the heart of this fragrance, and it dries down to a calm woody skin scent. The guaiac wood isn't overpowering at all, very tame. It's inoffensive and versatile, it's criminally cheap, and you can overspray to your heart's content without ever having to worry about it being too strong. I don't see Heritage get mentioned at all these days, likely because of its mediocre performance, but for a super budget option that can be easily found at any nearby Ross/TJ Maxx/Burlington it's too good for me to ignore. 7/10, would be higher if it just lasted a couple more hours.

I have 4 nautica voyage fragrances, and this is tied as my favorite along with the original. The original beats it slightly because it's way more fresh and cool, which I like. But this? This is a masterpiece, scent profile wise. It's a sweet, aromatic blend. Extremely mass appealing, fresh, and pleasant. I love wearing this, and I think that most would find this to be the best out of the Voyage line. I would too, but again, I prefer the freshness of the original to this one. Longevity on this isn't crazy good, it IS a nautica voyage flanker after all. It projects for maybe about 30 minutes to an hour, and lasts as a skin scent for 2 hours. Just over spray or respray to solve that issue. Overall rating (price range considered): 8.5/10. Very clean and nice. Just wish it lasted longer. Overall rating (all things considered): 6/10. That's not a bad score, still above average. There's a lot of better options out there though.

Ah, Voyage, my biggest frenemy... This is kind of like the original, but more tasteful. If you have a spine, aren't a TikTok soyboy, and are above the age of 21, you'll probably be reasonable and choose this over the classic Voyage, or alternatively N-83 if that's more up to your taste. I kind of miss the cucumber, but this abandons it for more overall class. Not much refinement though - it's still Nautica after all and if you're into fragrances you know how they are. Get it to be slightly more original. I would, but I don't vibe with the Voyage brand/collection overall. If I did get it, I'd feel like it's tainting my whole collection with mainstream TikTok/Shorts filth. Just... go... I don't wanna see or smell it, you young, dreamy lad of a sailor... Go pick up girls or something...

This scent threw me veeery veeery far way back. This is something i would expect to smell on my 50 year old dad. Smells to me like a shaving cream, not in a bad way. But because of this it might not be as mass appealing as others say. A lot more spicier and definitely more masculine than the original Voyage. In general very pleasent scent but I wouldn't recommend this to teenagers, because others might think you stole your dads colougne. It just smells "old" to me. I won't be hating on the longevity here, it's a toilet water for 20$, what do you expect? :)

A pleasant fragrance on it's own, however Nautica did not reinvent the wheel with this one. Not similar to the original Voyage, has more of a generic, fresh smell. Performance would be average,best suited for younger men. Recommend getting your hands on it if you want a good budget type fragrance to rock during spring and summer, or if collecting Nautica Voyage flankers is just your thing. But I would suggest you to pass on it if you are hoping it to be either unique or similar to the original Voyage. My rating: 6.6/10 - not the best flanker out there.

Does this smell of high quality? No. Is this the best Voyage flanker? No. Will this last all day? No. Does that mean this isn't worth purchasing? No. I really like it. The opening smells great. Bright and fresh. The dry down smells great. A little green/woodsy and fresh/spicy. If you work outdoors, in the heat (like I do), this is a nice cheap scent for days when you don't need to wear a nicer fragrance. But maybe bring a decant or something to refresh later on. For the price, you could do a lot worse.

Lavender and Rosemary are going to be your main notes here. I dont really smell the mint or woods, but thats okay! Ive definitely smelled better Spring/Summer frags, but if you want to find a good cheapie to step away from the usual floral citrus scents of the warmer months, this isnt a bad choice! By far, the best of ALL the Nautica line. It starts off with a nice fresh minty scent and quickly you get the lavender with a hint of slightly sweet ginger. Within around 10-15 minutes you're left with a nice fresh spicy sandalwood scent with a subtle sweetness. In my opinion this is the only masculine scent by Nautica ... all others smell way too unisex or like cucumber/melon water. On me, it lasts around 4 hours but it's inexpensive ... a few extra sprays and you're good to go.

Really really like this one! It's fresh and woody, while being a bit crisp as well. Goes on strong but not overwhelming whatsoever. Like others have mentioned, this gives off a huge Fall like vibe. Like cold, cloudy, Autumn days by the ocean. My boyfriend wore this on our vacation once and I complimented him nonstop. He ended up gifting me a bottle because I liked it so much. Considering it's a toilette the longevity is ok. It is pretty poor on me, but works good on him.

Update: after coming back to it and wearing it a couple times, it's a pretty good scent and I find myself reaching it more than the OG voyage, by far the best voyage flanker, as sport has horrible longevity, but good smell, and n-83 is lack-luster, and midnight sucks, this is a very nice rosemary and minty fragrance and as it dries down it has a nice sandalwood base, and has pretty decent longevity, overall: 7.2/10

Yesterday I got 8 niche samples in the mail from Byredo, Frederick Malle, Dyptique, Roja Dove etc. and I have been trying them on and comparing them all day. I then had a quick bath and put on Heritage to watch the game. Despite its low price, Heritage holds up REALLY well against some of the most expensive fragrances on the market. This is an extremely nice fragrance and for the price its impossible to beat.

It is a nice scent , Fresh, Crisp and Clean. I bought it blind-buy with reasonable price. The Performance is Average. It opens up with fresh spicy, green and spices notes in the background then dry down is woody. The Lavender and Ginger notes are dominant in this perfume. This is perfect for the spring and summer, A bit generic , synthetic , Barbershop style and a linear fragrance. Rating : 7 / 10

Its way better than og voyage, less synthetic and more shower gel type fregrence, very musculant and fresh, lasts round 6-8 hours, but you need to spray it a lot, for me its ten sprays just to get moderate sillage. Its very universal, good for summer, atum and fall, its also a good cloathes refresher and all of this for less than 20$ 7/10 Still kinda synthetic

was my dads sig scent when it dropped so long ago, used it in middle school for an after gym scent def did its job. Prob my favorite out of the voyage line due to its deviation away from a shower gelish scent. If youre a middle schooler or even high schooler looking for a dumb reach post-pre gym scent that you can cheaply apply, this is one of them.

This flanker is one that i don’t particularly go crazy for, It’s alright but it’s not something i see myself wearing a ton. I’ll occasionally wear this if it’s warm out. It has more of a mature smell, not as fresh as the original but more minty, and more woody. The lavender also adds an interesting touch. pretty linear throughout it’s duration.

Very very boring scent, but can't fault it for what it costs. To me this smells like if the original Nautica Voyage was released in the second world war or something. Doesn't smell bad, but I have over 160 unique fragrances in my collection and I'm having a difficulty naming a more forgettable one.

A nice entry level ginger fragrance (that may explain the golden stripes on the bottle). The note pyramid is fairly accurate, with ginger being at the core. Has a very classic men’s cologne vibe, albeit at the budget end. Performance is adequate, a noticeable scent bubble for 6+ hours

smells a lot more complex compared to OG voyage. Seems to perform better on clothing... i think??? 8+ sprays should get you a nice, aquatic aroma for a couple hours. You've got nothing to lose by purchasing this fragrance but do not expect anything spectacular. 5/10

I really like this stuff.. it kind of reminds me of kryptomint by Mugler.. it’s not as strong and doesn’t last nearly as long, but if You’re looking for a super fresh out of the shower or gym scent, you’ll like this!

refreshing and crisp. i love the touch of lavender, it makes it mature and bolder than the original. the mint makes it refreshing. longevity is dissapointing considering the price. dry down is quite nice.

Pretty underrated as a scent, Smells nice and generic but has a interesting minty accord I really dig. A mature take on Nautia Voyage. Clean and crisp, mass appealing. Good dumb reach.

For me it smells like Bentley Momentum Unlimited with a toned down vetiver note. pleasant but a bit forgettable

Fresh, clean smelling fragrance.

Very shower gel like. Bought a 100 ml at a Burlingtons for $16.99. Honestly not a bad fragrance, but definitely not unique. Projects at arms length for a good 60-90 minutes. Lasts about 5 hours. Very causal, sporty almost. Good dumb reach for warmer days, running errands, hanging out with friends, even for the office. You could do worse, but don't pay more than $20. It's a creamy aquatic; I know that's weird to say, but if you've smelled it, you might get what I'm saying. There is a decent amount of mint within the first 30 or so minutes, adding a touch of sweetness and adding to the creamy nature of the fragrance. The dry down is a light, creamy sandalwood mixed with another wood (my guess is the guiac wood). It has a Cologne-like smell to it, which adds some appeal to it. It is very inoffensive, I can't see too many people saying that this is too much or smells bad.

Sampled like 3 sprays on my wrist and hmm. Very salty green cucumber aromatic synthetic cheap scent that is def not for me. The mint comes off pretty good to me and I’m liking it, the lavender and rosemary florals are done pretty well in the dry down just doesn’t seem to be a very unique blend. Not my fav floral note but it isn’t a bad cologne overall it’s just very bland and not so good. Like an axe body spray type scent or body wash shampoo scent or some hand soap. I think it’s a mass appealing scent but very bland and missing some depth. Good for something my dad would like. Or a dumb reach for like 20 dollars. Horrible performance. Overall 6/10

FRESH SOAPY CLEAN SLIGHTLY-SPICY HERBAL AQUATIC starts off sharp & bright fresh (from mint) clean soapy (from lavender) then gets more dense/herbal slightly fresh spicy (from bold rosemary+ginger+slight woods) while still being fresh clean & soapy aquatic; not a bad scent composition and smell for the price; decent day-time casual or gym/out the shower frag w/ poor performance (have to spray very liberally to get decent performance), have to re-apply throughout the day Projection/Sillage': LIGHT, arms length scent bubble for the 1st 30mins to an hour but mainly an in-close scent Performance/Longevity: WEAK, 3-4 hours (on fabric)

I really like the original Nautica Voyage, even as a cheapie it stands out as a favorite when competing with more expensive fragrances. I've been trying it's flankers and have not been impressed. Heritage does have that aquatic (synthetic) profile we are all looking for. However, the lack of fruit and citrus notes means this fragrance is not bright. It is fresh but the lavender and mint give it a passive scent profile. I don't dislike it but, yet again, it is a bit boring and I think I'll just reach for the original.

Average at best. Don't hold back when spraying because it doesn't last very long. You're probably better off buying the original Voyage as your staple cheapie. I regret blind buying this. It isn't horrible but I definitely wouldn't purchase it again once my bottle runs out.

This isn't a fougere (no citrus), but I would call it a modern shower gel or barbershop profile. Not powdery or soapy at all. This is definitely a modern profile, it's just not an aquatic or blue fragrance, and I think that's where people are confused. This is barely a flanker to the original, like 10% of the original is there. Expect a basic aromatic, woody, and minty shower gel profile. Update: on drydown after a few wears I'm occasionally getting a weird bell pepper note that I do not like. Performance is worse than the original Voyage.

Smells cheap and perfumey. A bit like a 60-year-old woman who doesn't know how to lay off the sprays! That said I'd still wear this before I'd ever wear the original Nautica voyage which to me smells like stale cucumber skins.

Decent smelling but terrible TERRIBLE performance.

Not many reviews on this one and I can see why.. it’s pretty much been said. First off it does smell good. Not amazing, not groundbreaking, just good. It’s pretty much your typical “blue” shower gel scent. It’s obviously got more character (not a whole lot) than you’re old spice body wash since it’s a fragrance, but if you’re thinking Heritage means French cuff and Cognac decanter classy, it doesn’t. Ok that was over the top. Moving on. What it does have though is more class than Voyage, Nautica Rush and Rush Gold. It reminds me a lot of a blend of those with less punch and slightly refined so it’s not overly cloying. If you’re in you’re late teens to early twenties and looking for a decent semi sweet/clean shower gel vibe that’s got a touch of depth this might be worth it. There are a lot of better options out there (every Ferragamo comes to mind especially F Free time), but if $24.99 is a no-can-do this might be an option. For the rest of us looking to add another cheapie hidden gem to the shelf sadly no, this is not a must have Voyage flanker. It is however an acceptable addition to my ever growing discount finds, because at $12.99 for a 3.3 oz at Burlington I’ll get my money’s worth out of it. I’d say it’s mostly a spring/summer day scent, and possibly evening/night on warmer days. Casual or work, nothing too formal (date/event). For a sub $15 full size bottle.. decent juice.

Being a big fan of guaiac wood, I was quite excited to try this one out but alas... no guaiac wood seems detectable to my nose. Instead I get top notes of bergamot (not listed here?) and a hint of ginger, a heart of lavender and rosemary with a little peppermint lurking in the background and a woody base consisting of sandalwood, amber and some vetiver (again not listed here?) I believe. That’s basically it. Here’s how it works : Heritage is fresh, light, clean and woody with a shower gel vibe. It has lots of potential that’s unfortunately not really fulfilled. Performance is, well, acceptable but quite moderate. Would I describe it as a crappy scent ? Honestly no – it may seem a little uninspired, but overall it is enjoyable if you can see past the weak performance and it’s a decent perfume for the price at about €15. In spite of the “Heritage” name, I presume that this is probably a “sequel” to the original Voyage (and probably not the first at that), which was released in 2006 and which I also own and enjoy very much. If I were to choose or recommend one of these two, I would be pointing my finger at the juicy musky apple freshness of the original that also packs a better performance on me - but Heritage could be an acceptable, slightly more herbal flanker to sit next to the original Voyage for added spring/summer variety in your perfume collection.

Really surprised by this !!! Yes it’s nothing extremely unique or original but for what it is it’s a great bang for you buck casual cologne !! To my wifes nose she loved it and said it smelled like I came out of a barbershop close the beach and I definitely agree with that comparison !! On my skin it comes off as a very fresh,crisp,airy,slightly sweet,herbal and green barbershop scent. On my skin I get a lot of the fresh mint,lavender and rosemary but not much else ! In comparisons to other fragrances it’s like a mix of blue de Chanel/Nautica voyage but then add a lot of lavender !! A winner for sure and again my wife loves this and she doesn’t like a lot of summer fragrances on me. Performance on me was quite surprising as I got 5-8 hours of longevity ! Projection is moderate for for the first 45 minutes but then after that it’s a noticeable but not invasive 1 foot scent bubble. (Perfect for work) Overall rating-8 out of 10 !! Gets a high score for smell,price,performance and compliments but still loses points for originality

Scratchy light woods. Generic cologne smell, the kind that turns a little sour when you heat up/sweat. The mint is nice enough in opening, but the top quickly dries down to soft generic light woods with a breath of sweetness. Also in the opening, I get a little bit of grapefruit, even though it is not listed. There are very fleeting moments where the silage smells nicer than it should be, when the sweet mint, and smooth sandalwood smells of a more expensive fragrance. But you would be lucky to experience it at all. The notes look too good to be true for this price range, and they are. The scent doesn't really match the blue color, and I don't think it fits well as a Voyage flanker as it is not aquatic; kind of mixed signals.

Not to sound like an a****** but im at the point that this is in my bathroom as a deodorizer No seriously, its next to the soap on the sink for that or if somebody needs a spritz for themselves. It is what it is, its a nautica voyage flanker. But ill say as a fragrance elitist snob that is likely the best of the line with the original possibly in 2nd place. I have a guilty pleasure for the watery foggy moss evernyl bomb thing going on in it. Also as far as heritage, this is sort of how i remember nautica competition smelling from the 90s, but without the guiac wood (that being replaced with prob more nutmeg, maybe clove or something else woody)

Amazing, in the same ballpark of Allure Sport , but is really the dream coming true, this is Old Spice Swagger shower gel. Superb guys, a winner, positive,masculine,marine,clean,fresh, this represents vacancy at Rio de Janeiro with friends, easy going vibe. If used in office is a compliment getter. Blind buy worthy , veeeeeery safe, Nautica voyage to me is horrible but this one is a great,winner blend.

I use this as a room spray nothing more lmao. Once your at a point where you own so many, this is one of the last ones to choose.
