Aqua Nautilus

It is one of the unusual fragrances produced by the perfume industry. It cannot be compared with any marine perfume. Perfume awards are also not reaching the place they should be. The reason is that the average age of the members of fragrantica is low. they do not know this masterpiece.

Same as lancetti monsieur. The scent is different for the first 15 minutes, then it starts to smell the same. nautilus is a bit sharper. even chevignon and swiss army smell the same except for minor nuance differences. The chevignon smells more tobacco-like after 2 hours.

One of the best perfumes you can have. smells great.

This is a review based on memories... i had this fragrance when i was in 8th grade, back in 2003. From what i recall, and as the name suggests it was a fragrance with a lot of seanotes in it, it was similar to Aqua di gio and Lancetti Monsieur, without those animalic notes from the beginning. Nautilus does not have any animalic notes whatsoever, it is a very safe fragrance, like those mentioned above. Cool bottle, and a solid fragrance! Good to have in a fragrance wardrobe.

I'm not really into Aqua Nautilus because of strong Aquatic notes in combination with green notes, which it is not of my favourites. Althought is very strong scent it's bitter as well. I like sweet scents more.

After searching for one for over a year, I received a new bottle sealed in a box today. I have had it on for just about 10 minutes, and it's obviously old because it gets really really pungent with bittersweet orange peels and intensely aged galbanum. No fig nor flowers nor wooods nor spices yet. So far, it's somewhat green, thick, and balmy. Nothing is "Aqua" about it. There is something promising here but I just can't get pass the heavily bitter opening. I have a feeling this is not going to turn out so well. I doubt it if I'd ever wear it again. It's a nice show piece nonetheless.

Wonderful masculine scent. Drys down to a wonderful lingering aroma. Had lots of favorable comments on this one. If you like woody aromatic - this is a great choice.
