Soir Exclusif

My second try from the Enamoured Collection of Navitus Parfums (curated by BBB) is Soir Exclusif, which, like Exalt Nuit, is a function of a balance between sweet and spicy elements, albeit with different sources of the sweet and spicy. In Soir Exclusif, almond, marshmallow, tonka, and coffee are countered by licorice, ambergris, and woods, but in a way, the sweets ARE the spicy notes, too, and like Exalt Nuit, the result feels like a semi-gourmand. Marshmallow, almond, tonka, and licorice in particular make for a bit of fun interplay, not wholly sweet or spicy. It’s semi-dark, a bit more appropriate for nighttime wearing than daytime, in my opinion, and surely a bit more appropriate for colder weather than warmer weather, and slightly masculine-leaning but still unisex. Still, it’s neither as dark nor as masculine overall as Exalt Nuit, but slightly spicier. I hate to keep comparing it to Exalt Nuit but the two seem to be the clear darker, more masculine, and more winter-friendly release of the Enamoured collection, so they lend themselves to be compared to one another; and personally, they’re the two that I was most interested in trying out. Overall, it remains fairly midway between spicy and sweet, sweet enough for me to enjoy it easily. It’s very nice! I’d give Exalt Nuit the edge, overall, but they’re both very comparable in terms of quality, utility, and season. Soir Exclusif performs very well and, like the rest of the Enamoured collection, is available in a 100ml size only at the full price of $195, currently available at a discount on the Navitus website, the exclusive point-of-sale. 8 out of 10

Been wearing this beautiful juice for three days now and I love it. Call me crazy but to my nose it’s like Parfums de Marly Pegasus and Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo had a baby, I get that Almond note of Pegasus but a bit softer, sweeter and a bit more milky, maybe it’s from that marshmallow note. But it was also reminding me of something else I started looking through my collection and it hit me of course Salvatore Ferragamo Uomo was the one, I think that Soir Exclusif it’s also similar to Ferragamo Uomo maybe not the same but very similar It could be the coffee note that makes them similar . Overall I think Soir Exclusif is sexy, very seductive, semi gourmand, perfect for date night’s. It’s long lasting with moderate projection, best for fall and winter, 4 to 6 sprays and you are good to go.

I thought I did a review but I guess not. I've had my bottle since it was launched so I guess 4 almost 5 years now? That seems crazy. When I first got my bottle it was sharp initially and I wasn't a fan but I set it up and forgot about it. I pulled it out last fall and winter because I noticed the bottle and WOW! WOW WOW!!! It's soooo much smoother this is incredible marshmallowy blended dark rich treat!! Oh it's good this and chocolate queen are my absolute favorite Brandy xo is a good one as well but I'm tell you soir Exclusif has mancerated and how cow it's good now!!!!

I am wearing this today. I've had it on for a good five hours and it's still projecting and my coworkers are still giving compliments. It reminds me very much of Pegasus by PDM, but with a more citrusy opening because of the blood orange. Very solid fragrance for the winter. I think a lot of people are just hating because Buck is a Youtuber. It's a solid offering, but I think I would buy it on discount if they ever offer it on one.

@Forever Neil is confused. This fragrance shares nothing with Black Phantom... not notes nor scent.....This is not boozy, overly sweet or thick. The fragrance is an almond powder with florals. The ultimate almond fragrance IMO. Highly wearable. If I had to compare, I would compare the base to Cierge de Lune but without the incense and suede, and with the addition of almonds

This one is the smash hit(imo) in BBB’s Enamoured Collection and strangely looking at the notes, I thought this would be the one that wouldn’t be up my alley. This is a perfect fragrance for a date night and I would say leans towards fall and winter.

One of the best Party wear sweet fragrance. Lasting is esly 8+ and projection is very good in starting 2 hr

Looooove It! 😍😎 Fresh and Sweet

This was an interesting trial on my skin. I got a sweet fruity scent upon spraying. An hour later it had turned into a really heavily smoky scent. I do like smoky scents but this was heavy and not so much to my liking. By the time I remebered to take notice again that I was wearing it (approx. 10hrs after first spraying) it was a sweet fragrance but not sickly sweet. I actually really enjoyed the drydown. I would say it is more of a semi gourmand which is much more to my liking than a full on gourmand scent. Good longevity, nice fragrance, but I think I'd enjoy smelling it more on a man than I do on myself.

Testing this one out currently, I can definitely tell this scent came out of Buck's love for "By The Fireplace." It has that similar warm coziness, with a bit of a smokey quality but it's less situation-specific and much to easier to wear than BTF in my opinion. The smell of roasted marshmallows and licorice really dominates in a good way. There's a lot of sweetness that isn't overwhelming. Definitely my favorite of the Enamored collection and the one I definitely plan to get a full bottle of. Edit: Okay the performance on this one is pretty great. I was smelling It for at least 12 hours nonstop.

Soir Exclusive is a very comforting fragrance. I kept getting a whifts of this throughout the day. This last and last, well over 8 hours. You will be presently surprised. It consists of some of my favorite notes, Tonka bean, vanilla, and marshmallow. That's why this is so addictive. 9 out of 10.

I can smell all the top notes, but don't smell the middle notes much. I definitely can't smell marshmallow but there is a spice. I smell Lavender maybe (not listed). After that, there is some liquorice and some oakmoss. Vanilla and tonka are very much in the background. As much as it is unisex, It leans more masculine to me. Soir Exclusif doesn't work well for me. I find it to be strong in smell, although watery but it doesn't last ages but long enough if you like it. If you are wondering if it is a gourmand, no, it's not. Say you love Bailey's but you end up with a bourbon whiskey, Jack Daniels, how would you feel. It is not Lira style gourmand at all. I am glad i got a tester before i opened the box. Not a safe blind buy IMO. But my sister loves it, and we usually like the same things.

Not at all what I was expecting. It smells very sweet and resinous to me but with powdery marshmallows. The almond and orchid notes blend in a way that I was not expecting. I can see why people would like this fragrance, but it is not something that I would wear. I am also surprised that the tolu balsam doesn't have more votes. Edit: Almost 24 hours later it is mostly a skin scent but it became a beautifully delicious marshmallow smell. I want to like this because of how it smells now but the opening and initial drydown is not for me.

On my skin, this reminds me of BR 540 Extrait (in the air). This has this almond sweetness that's airy and a little spicy. I think this is an ok fragrance. It performs well, but I believe this would be nicer on a lady.

I had such high hopes for this scent but on my skin it leans masculine and zero marshmallow vibes I had hoped for. Super sad it didn't work out.

I’m really trying with this one and I keep revisiting it, but it’s like I barely smell anything. I was expecting this to be thicker. I’m getting a bitter marshmallow and alcohol.

I don't usually love gourmands. They tend to get too sweet for me. So when I got the discovery set, I didn't think I was going to like it. At all. So I sprayed it on a test strip. Hated it. Thought about it for a minute. Sprayed it on my hand. That's when things changed. I think I'm addicted now. How'd this happen? I think it's the blood orange and the oakmoss. The orange adds a pulpy, zesty feel that cuts through the sweetness in a REALLY appealing way. And the oakmoss grounds the scent with a rich earthiness. Coffee, almond, tonka, and vanilla keep this in gourmand territory, but I'm really impressed with the balance and wearability this has. I've now smelled stuff from Navitus (Redolessence, Big Beard Business, Chaos), Fragrance One, and Galleria (Gents Scents). What's impressed me is the amount of creativity that goes into it. They're not messing around. You love to see it.

As soon as I sprayed my sample, I was immediately hit with the thought that I'd smelled it before. Took a minute, but it finally came to me: this smells identical to L'artisan's Noir Exquis. I'm talking SPOT ON. And they were both made by the same perfumer which seems a touch lazy on their part? I don't know, but I'd be pretty bummed if I collaborated on a fragrance and the perfumer threw together basically the same fragrance that they created for another house years ago. But that's just me lol. If you already own Noir Exquis, don't bother with this one unless you'd just like to have the same fragrance in different bottles.

It is a creation by Bertrand Duchaufour who created MDCI Chypre Palatin. This one is beautiful. I remember a few days back I was digging a lot of Gourmand Scents and couldn't find anything appropriate. Soir Exclusif is exactly what I was looking for, not kidding. It has vanilla and tonka beans but it is not overly sweet. It gives a more mature vibe than most of the gourmands that I have tried and thus I would categorize this as a more sophisticated-dress-Night/Cold scent. It did not last as long as I expected it to, maybe I have to give it more wearings. But, overall a beautiful discovery.

Soir Exclisif is a datenight, appealing and snug flormand = A floral gourmand to my nose. Has a Very nice almond touch, with a sweet and airy cleanliness to it. A reserved and sofisticated scent with a cherry vibe~a bitter earthy drydown, yet, a gourmet floral hunch with it that at the same time, carries weight with the vanilla, musk and oakwood. I absolutely love this brand and its creativity. Get it BBB! 👍🏼👏🏼 Update: On my clothing, this fragrance reminds me so much of Parfums de Marly Pagasus yet on skin, not at all. That's crazy!!!

i mostly just get woods and musk. the other notes are there but the woods and musk are so heavy and cloying. nope, nope, nope. edit, 4 months later: i tried this again today. it smells so much better. i don’t know if my decant needed to macerate or what but where i was first only getting woods and musk, i now smell the orchid and sweet marshmallow and other notes! still not blown away by this fragrance (and my husband said i smell like deodorant) but it’s much more pleasant this time around.

Toasty, nutty sesame!! This is really good nutty fragrance, the coffee adds this toasted sesame smell and it's super duper nutty. Not like peanut butter, but like the candy called brittle. Caramelized toasted nuts! Wear this perfume and tell people to try deez nuts Downside, plastic/playdough smell from the almond. But that's every almond fragrance that exist so it's what you get when you want almond in fragrances

SO good! I have SF Uomo, that is WAY more Masculine Cologney than this. Smoother & less smokey than By the Fireplace (which I also love) & very close to L'artisan's Noir Exquis, which I adore! Bought an 8 ml first, been using it for a week & have a Big Bottle heading my way! VERY good fragrance!

Awesome gourmand perfume.... solid Almond note with coffee and vanilla. The almond note is very prominent in the opening. Good projection for first 2 hours then in the dry down you get sweet vanilla and spicy notes. Lasts for more than 8 hours. Good for evening and cold weather.

The opening is not bad, a gentle almond leaning scent. However, I have a real issue with the dry-down turning very cologne / masculine on my skin. The dry down is surprisingly stronger then the opening on me. Would be alright for a man but does not work on me at all.

Meh. The opening is sour and smells like baby wipes. That goes away in like 10 min and it becomes better powder and marshmellow come through but sour note lingers. Milk by commodity is way better and without the baby wipes

This smells pretty awesome. I will say it leans masculine. I’m convinced there’s lavender in here somewhere. It reminds me of Stronger With You Intensely. I pair with a really sweet vanilla to tone it down.

With all the notes I was expecting to be amazed. Nope. Just ok. A powdery burnt marshmallow amber generic scent. This is my 4 sample from this brand and was not impressed. Not bad though.

@AllisonSmith. This is a powdery PB2 you buy on Amazon (although more almond like) with heliotrope with a very cloying note that resembles rum and grates on my nerves..

This smells like mimosa and cardamom by jo malone with a slight extra backbone. Dissapointed man. Had high Gourmand hopes for this one

This was a blindbuy, and I so want to like it, but it's a no. It's too sweet for me..borderline headache inducing. Had to wash it off.

Great scent and very good performer that's all you need to know..now go buy it and thank me later.

It is a lot like Noir Exquis, but it's just SOOOOO good I had to have both. YUMMMMMMYYYY!!
