I have really grown to enjoy these earthy scents and the truffle note along with it. Black Orchid is a masterpiece. Cobalt Bad Boy Elixir also is enjoyable. The Wolf Brothers have a couple of fragrances with truffle as well that I look forward to trying. Akelarre like Black Orchid puts you in nature and awakens your senses. It is loud at first and lasts several hours. Although a favorite of mine, not so much with my wife. 😅 Beautiful bottle with attractive minimalist packaging. One of my favorites from the line along with Babieca. I don't get the T-Rex comparison and I haven't tried the others under "reminds me of" section. T-Rex reminds me of a cookout and not necessarily nature. If you are a hiker and what something for when you are restrained indoors, try this.

I did a sniff test from 30 perfumes and picked this one to get. I only knew about the artistic inspiration behind it, and it clicked immediately. Then I tried on the skin, and yes, there was no going back. It's unique, and the main things that stand out are wet earth, truffle, dried fruits that dry down to insane amber notes, and animalistic hints that nail it. The concept is bonkers, and I see how people may hate this masterpiece, in my opinion.

This is a quickly evolving scent, like you've gone truffle hunting with Gandalf on Halloween and his pipe just set his beard on fire, so you douse it with your cider tankard and a clan of gerbils runs out. In the best way. A challenging and narrative fragrance that tells a spooky story. Perfect for outdoor screenings of The Exorcist, but not for the office cubicle.

Opens with a blast of earth, literally soil where an animal pissed and where mushrooms are growing. Then the barnyard caught fire and you unfortunately passed because of smoke inhalation. Imagine if Astrophil & Stella's In Extremis and Akro's Smoke had a baby. Good stuff.
