Reminds me a lot of Roja's Elysium Pour Femme, very similar Freesia note, so if you love Freesia, you will love this!

Another interesting parfume. At first I get something fruity, I guess that ́s the mandarine. Then it quickly changes into sweet honey mixed with flowers. And after an hour - nothing at all. I donˇt get anything woody or musky. Nevertheless, it is worth trying out if you are into gourmand fragrances.

A very green floral with prominent honey and citrus. Not subtle, even at dry down.

After reading someone’s review on a different page mentioning this frag as the type I was looking for, I was excited as I saw the notes seemed very much up my alley, especially when I saw Lily listed as one of the base notes, as well as gardenia and jasmine (3 of my fav florals). I only sprayed it an hr ago but it smells so bad on me. It has this odd coffee vibe to it. I had to reread the description and notes and glance at some reviews, to realize perhaps I might ke smelling something that resembles a pissy note. But I get more roasted coffee beans, very sweet honey with a hint of florals (I’d never know Lily, gardenia, or Jasmine was in it). I never have issues with Jasmine, I know many do and tend to have a love hate thing with it where they will get a foul smelling note, but that’s not what this is. It doesn’t smell rotten, but I’m getting mostly a hit of rose though not listed, coffee in every way, and honey. So basically a rich bold freshly roasted cup of coffee soaked in honey and a bouquet of roses that are beginning to wilt. Projection seems to be decent though as though it’s been only a bit more than an hr it’s still as strong as it was when I sprayed it. Maybe it will change by the time I wake up and smell awesome. But right now I’m kind of happy it’s not 1 more perfume I fell in love with and yearn for. Strictly a honey scent, in the worst way possible.

Another good scent suffers from the extrait de parfum trend. This would be good if released in EDP format so the notes can be more effervescent and lively. Instead, here the notes seems mushed together. Although longevity is decent, the sillage is minimal, you can feel you wearing fragrance but unable to really smell and appreciate the smell fully. You only able to smell the scent fully when pressing your nose to your skin. Not sure if it is because of the lack of skill from the perfumer, the quality of the ingredient or what it is. The overall experience is quite frutrating. This happens to a few extraits released nowaday from different brands too. The scent itself is gorgeous. Translution honey drips through white flowers. The scent becomes very very indolic as it dries down. The drydown might be a little pissy & sweaty to some but if you like the indolic nature of white flowers like myself then this is very beautiful. I've never been to Bali but the scent reminds me of my trip to Phuket - Thailand, the scent of flowers in the resort and market. One down point in all 4 scents from this house is that there is a sharp & synthetic sweetness runs through them, Etoile de Bali has the least of it.

They really tried to throw every note in the world into this one, and honestly... I don’t get why. It ends up being a mushy, mixed-up blend with no clear personality. On top of that the longevity just doesn’t hold up. Definitely not worth the hype for me. Thumbs down

Been using its quite amazing dupe florals of bali from dua for sometime now and that's just wow. I believe its 100 % close to original. I hope this one has the same longevity as its original one.
