Cathedral

I go to church frequently, and he really got the church incense smell spot on. And it's not just church incense, but a specific mood of walking through an empty cathedral when all the candles have just been blown out and you're alone there talking to God. I have a whole shopping cart at Lucky Scent building up all the incense scents I wanted to smell. Someone recommended me Neil Morris October, and I ordered a sample of that and a few others that caught my fancy, along with this one. And I have to say, I will probably order the Lucky Scent cart anyway because FOMO, but if I were a reasonable person and not a fragrance addict, my search for the perfect cathedral incense would be over already.

Hmmm.. Victorian age balm cream. It's been a while since i had few samples of Niel Morris, this was one of the mains (beside swoon) that made me want to sniff them & try his creations. This palmy labdanum with major leather base and superb doses of slightly animalic narcissus. It's more of a balm cream than incense and black pepper. I really see myself in a Cathedral! a Victorian age Cathedral! like Game of Thrones kind of era with that narcissus animalic kisses. Wow! i really can't stop sniffing this fragrance! i believe he reached his inspiration of walking alone through dark and intimate grand Cathedral.

Another sample ordered from Neil Morris, and this is something special. I've smelled other incense fragrances, and this one really comes across as the incense you would smell in a church. Very good!
