Fetish

This is a very interesting scent. With an untrained nose like mine, I CANNOT tell what it is. I don't know what leather smells like, so I can't say if there's leather in this perfume. However, this smells like none that I experienced before; it smells clean to me..hmm.. Very interesting and worth studying. It's like an educational material for me... :) 12/29/2011 updated: I can smell leather finally :). It's not masculine, but I don't think this perfume is for women.

Myrrh, oud, and leather. Fetish manages to be astringent and medicinal, yet somehow alluring. I would be attracted to someone wearing this. It kind of reminds me of Dr. House at an S&M club.

If you love leather and if you like sweet and dirty perfumes then this one is defiantly for you. I can't handle sweet perfumes nor heavily leathered. I shall pass. Very strong sillage Did not last to long on me maybe the weather was to dry.

This one reminds me strongly of Les Nereides Oppoponax. Very strong in the benzoin. If you like the classic benzoin style frags, like Shalimar and the like, this one good be for you. Maybe even for layering to bring out the base better. Nothing for me, but I think it could be big crowd pleaser. --- I ordered the samples maybe 4-6 years ago and now I really see, how my nose developed and I am able to appreciate NM frags much more. All the frags I smelled are strong, stinky and really like from a bygone era. Vintage lovers should look deeper into Neil Morris frags, if you ask me.

There is something weird in here! It is resinous, and sweet, yet animalic! the sweetness blended with the animalic gives the effect of a dirty water! the musk, benzoin, myrrh, ambergris, and tonka beans blend is just not doing it for me! i feel there is something wrong is happening.

To me it's not at all leathery and not agressive but very calm, humid and woodsy with intelligent uod note that is not affending as in many other oud scents.
