Rainflower

This is such a GORGEOUS fragrance!! I like florientals and also white florals, and this one is between these two categories. Neil Morris said to have been inspired by walking into the Kew Gardens in London in May after the rain. These are the flowers: Freesia my best preferred flower in real life, night blooming Jasmine - yes, you are driven to think to A' La Nuit by smelling this - purple Hyacinth (another love of mine), Gardenia, Lilac, Tulip. The freesia is the dominant note to me, stays there until the end, and it is intoxicating...you really need to like this note to appreciate the fragrance. The base is a classical musk. The result is a sexy, warm, flowery and young scent... very feminine, powerful but not too overpowering. Distinctive sillage and remarkable staying power. Really, a must try!!

The reason I immediately fell in love with this fragrance is that Rainflower is the perfect rendition on the tulips' smell. I mean, I know that tulips don't really have that much of a smell apart from a certain wet, green freshness but it is exactly what Neil Morris succeed to capture in this perfume. The drydown is more soft and there's a lot of sweet musk. Neil Morris' Rainflower is a lovely floral: not at all challenging or hard to like.

I received my sample of this today, and have ordered a full bottle already. Fresh flowers soaked with rain, exactly as the name indicates. Rarely does a name suit a fragrance as well as this one does. Green florals and white florals blend together along with the most lifelike rendition of tulips I have ever experienced. Beautiful!

This is all about the hyacinth, and I love it! wow, hyacinth in a bottle, sweet sappy distilled flower essence like the best of spring flowers breaking through into the light; a little soapy in the base, very vintage inspired

Green and jasmine notes appear at first and within seconds are joined by a blue-cheese and mushroom tinted gardenia. Yes, the lilac and hyacinth notes are most definitely there too, creating a fairly natural-smelling floral symphony. It stays more or less linear and lasts all day, at least 8 hours. If I liked florals, I’d probably love rainflower, but to me it’s just too many flowers all at once. It’s a beautifully constructed fragrance, and I have to admire it for the artistry that went into it. However, it’s not one that I’d ever wear myself simply because it’s not at all my style. If you’re a floral lover you should most definitely give it a try.

So pretty, but with some substance to it too. It captures that cool, lush, dewy essence so perfectly. I almost didn't try it because watery florals are usually boring. But I do love ones done right, like Apres l'Ondee and Iris Silver Mist. This one deserves to stand among them. Edit: sometimes the best way to sample is to test similar categories side by side. So I decided to spray this on one hand and Chanel Gardenia, another fresh watery floral, on the other. What I noticed was that the green in Rainflower stands out, an herbal quality that might even include a hint of mint.

Oh, what a beautiful springflower fragrance. It smells exactly like in the description above... I feel like I have rolled around among wet tulips and hyacinth... the lilac bloom above me and make the fragrance a bit moore spicy and full. It is very clear, fresh and wet, powerfull and you won ́t need much. If you ́re looking for a springfragrance and like flowery perfumes try this one. It ́s easy to like and stays with you for a resonable good time.

Natural beauty! Very conciliative fragrance. Smells like million of flower petals which have soaked up the raindrops.

It's a very relaxing scent, makes me think of being comfortably wealthy and living close by to a botanical garden. Going down to the lake in the gardens with a lover, umbrella in hand and wearing a nice raincoat and beanie. White flowers are dripping from the rain, humidity is in the air and projecting the natural aromas around us. A bit green, very fresh and soft lilac, jasmine and hyacinth (which I may have only smelt from fragrances). Effortlessly beautiful - can't see anyone disliking this. May even buy an FB tbh

Water and succulent white flowers. Reminds me very much of a single note lily of the valley I had as a child. Very true to a living flower, especially when the skin is warmed, but definitely a soloflore. Clean and simple, very elegant, and the sample sizes are huge.

This sounds a bit like Guerlain Après l'Ondee...! Would be great, as this will be easier to get my hands on (and hopefully lasts even longer). Hope to sample this very soon......

This is very pretty it really does smell like wet flowers, it is very clean and fresh and would be a lovely floral for spring.
