Pomelo Glow

Grapefruit is a dangerous note, it can smell sort of harsh and could end up feeling unrefined. I am not a fan of this cologne, even though it is well done. It smells a bit too pungent - even though it has surprising staying power and sillage - and makes me think of Jo Malone type fragrances which I simply never liked. Still a quality creation.

Olfactive Diary Entry #38 I just came across the entire range of Neo Cologne fragrances, which was a delightful discovery. My overall impression is that they are simplistic, yet, well-blended fragrances, that deliver way more than the classic definition of "cologne" usually would. The staying power is great. On skin, they last up to 6-8 hours, but on hair or clothes, they linger for 24 hours. The sillage is intimate, so the scent stays close to your skin. The whole range is alcohol-free, unisex, and contains a minimum of 85% natural ingredients. The bottles are refillable and recyclable. Pomelo Glow is my least favorite of the bunch, which was a disappointment since pomelo is one of my favorite fruits. But this scent completely lacks the freshness of citrusy notes and is instead a tropical and unidentifiable, sweet fragrance. Maybe I am detecting some peach, pineapple, and some floral notes. But it's an underwhelming blend, which ends up smelling very similar to an air freshener for the car or bathroom.
