Crème de Clementine

When I first tried Crème de Clémentine over a year ago, I was honestly blown away. I couldn't believe how photorealistic the creamy clementine accord was. It smelled exactly like a dreamy orange creamsicle or a bowl of freshly churned clementine sorbet - bright, juicy citrus wrapped in the fluffiest, creamiest vanilla. As a gourmand lover, I was incredibly impressed by how well Nest captured that scent. Ironically, despite loving the smell, I didn't see it as something I wanted to wear. To me, it smelled so much like creamy orange dessert that I appreciated it more as a fragrance to admire than one I wanted to smell like myself. Fast forward about a year, and I revisited my travel spray. Whether the fragrance matured, macerated, or simply my nose and preferences evolved, I fell completely in love with it. It now feels incredibly comforting. I ended up purchasing a full bottle because I found myself wanting to wear it constantly. What I appreciate most is how beautifully rounded this fragrance is. There are no harsh citrus edges whatsoever. The creamy vanilla softens the clementine perfectly, creating a smooth, airy scent cloud that feels cozy rather than sugary. The citrus isn't sharp or sparkling, it's soft, creamy, and comforting. Although many people will probably think of this as a summer fragrance, I actually think it works year round. The creamy vanilla makes it cozy enough for cooler weather, and the clementine reminds me of fall. It brings to mind the smell of fresh clementines and the oranges I use in simmer pots during autumn, so it has a nostalgic warmth that I wasn't expecting. Performance has also impressed me. On my skin I get moderate longevity and projection (not a beast by any means) but on clothing it's fantastic. I often wear it as a bedtime fragrance and can still smell it on my shirt the next morning. This ended up being one of the biggest surprise loves in my collection, and oh I love her so!

Nest fragrances are not always my favourites, but this one, Creme de Clementine is really good! It’s basically what’s advertised in the title, a creamy vanilla, sweet, juicy, bursting with freshness clementine scent. If you like clementines and vanilla, in my opinion this is a safe blind buy. Just don’t expect massive sillage or longevity, expect something in the moderate performance, but smelling truthful to the notes listed. For spring and summer, Creme de Clementine is perfect. It’s sweet and creamy, light and airy, fruity and vanillic and I’d say very mass appealing for citrusy lovers. I am testing it from a sample currently, but I will upgrade to a travel size for my upcoming summer trips because it’s the kind of scent that pairs beautifully with the Mediterranean climate. For me, Creme de Clementine it’s a love! Would recommend over other classic citrusy perfumes because how photorealistic it smells!

This is my favorite scent of Spring/Summer 😩 I went to ULTA for the Balinese Coconut (which is also fabulous!) and I left with this!! At first there is this crazy bright, burst of citrus from the clementine, then you smell the crème start to come through turning your skin into a delicious Orange Creamsicle! My boyfriend smelled it once and picked it up for me 😂😂 This scent is magnificent! However, it only projects moderately for a short period, then quickly becomes a skin sent that doesn’t last long on its own, at least for me. At first I was really bummed out because I LOVE this scent. But a light bulb flickered and I realized this is a perfect spring/summer layering scent!! I do not have a big collection, but I do own Alien Goddess Intense and these two scents pair AMAZINGLY together. Honestly I put down a good base of Goddess and then place the Crème de Clementine on top 🖤💜

Im STUNNED this perfume is so good! It brings back such nostalgia vibes. I wont beat a dead horse here, but yes, this is purely & perfectly the most well done creamsicle scent. I saw a review below stating the citrus doesnt last and I say BS to that!! This citrus is CRAZY strong, two sprays and Im on hour 6 and its projecting like crazy. Its creamy, dreamy and a necessity in your collection if creamsicle or citrus is your vibe!! Nest killed it with this release. My only complaint is I wish they released this in the spring/summer instead of fall. I hope this becomes a top seller for them, because it deserves to! 10/10 and Im a mostly niche girly 😆 I havent loved a designer fragrance like this in some time. FB worthy. Edit: 12 hrs later and I still smell it on my wrists - CRAZY strong!

I struggle to wear a lot of citrus fragrances because they can become too astringent on my skin. I almost didn’t try this one for that reason. I’m so happy I ended up testing it at Sephora today because this is everything I could hope for in a citrus scent. The clementine is very realistic and lasts throughout the dry down; however, it’s not sharp because the vanilla rounds it out with a sweet creaminess that truly is reminiscent of an orange creamsicle. It’s just sweet enough where it doesn’t become cloying. Because the fresh, brightness of the clementine lasts, I think this would be great for the summer season, but I’d reach for it year round. This is a love for me and will layer well with a lot of other fragrances.

I just sprayed a butt load of this on my skin in Sephora. Here's my experience. The opening smells like an orange creamsicle! It is delightful and instantly put a smile on my face, although the orange creamsicle scent disappeared quickly OR I went nose blind (sad face). The dry-down is a light wood scent. I want it! And, I am going in knowing I will need to use every trick in my book to make it last as long as possible. I will also try my darnedest to get it at a deep discount, because the scent does not seem to last on my skin which makes the price point too high for no longevity. To my nose, this is the breakdown: Top/Middle: Orange creamsicle (clementine zest, creamy vanilla) Dry-down: Light wood (blond wood)

I mean, there’s no incredible complexity to tease out of this fragrance and everyone else has already summed it up: orange creamsicle. I’m really not a big vanilla or gourmand fan, but I do love citruses, and this is a winner for me. Smells like an orange creamsicle has melted in the sun and run down your skin, really warm and delicious. On my skin I get a faint cedar note on the dry down that I really like. Summer is the obvious season for this fragrance, but I think it would also transition nicely into fall with the warmth it has. Honestly, orange works so well for winter, too—if you layer this with something woody/spicy, it could absolutely read as winter.

First fragrance that ive ever had the need to leave a review on. Crème de Clementine is simple but absolutely DEVINE!! The clementine is sweet but citrusy as youd expect, like freshly squeezed oj, and the vanilla adds this cozy layer to it just like an orange creamsicle!! I find with nest the fragrances longivitg on me are 50/50 and i was afraid with this one being a citrus that it would disappear quickly but that is not the case, for me it doesnt evolve much from the initial spray, quite a linear fragrance which makes me really happy!! This fragrance is a must for the gourmond girlies who are looking to branch out to something citrusy but still cozy!

She's not nearly as creamy and sugary as I expected, having a creamsicle in mind. But that being said, I loooooooove this scent! To me, it's almost pure clementine, with a musky vanilla drydown. There's some sweetness, maybe a hint of creaminess, but I definitely wouldn't call this one milky, sugary, gourmand, or lactionic. This scent is so bright, so playful, so pretty. A citrus girly's dream. Considering how quickly citrus normally fades, this performance is not bad at all! I get a solid 4-5 hours of wear on the skin, and even more on clothes. Great for every day, even in the heat, since it's quite fresh and not cloying at all. Love.

Here's what I get Opening (10-15 minutes): Orange creamsicle. Mouthwatering, pillowy, creamy Mid (5-10 minutes): Juicy orange zest. Bright, fresh, lightly sweet End (the last 4-6 hours): Orange pez. Light, soft, a hint powdery or dusty...like how a pez is when you bite into it. The orange and vanilla are more blended so you don't get them each so distinctly like in the orange creamsicle opening, or just one like in the fresh orange mid It's really nice and isn't cloying! (I sprayed a lot on at the store to make sure I got a good idea of how it would wear on me) It's fun and playful and bright and sweet and soft and cute!

Soooo so so good. I sprayed this on my arms in Sephora at the beginning of my shopping day and for the next 4 hours of shopping I could smell it in every fitting room I went in. I went back the next day and bought a bottle. It smells very nostalgic, creamy with a touch of citrus. I usually don't like citrus in my fragrances or cleaning products but this isn't harsh like a lemon cleaner. It's orange peel that's well rounded with sweet vanilla. I've been layering it with cyklar vanilla verve perfume oil and glossier doux as a entry to fall layering routine and it mixes amazingly.

As the number one endorser of all things orange vanilla flavored, this perfume hits the nail straight on the head. As is with most Nest perfumes, the scent of this is identical to the namesake. It smells like summer is high in the sky, the sun is beaming down on you, and in your hand is an orange cream popsicle, just melting into your hands and encasing your body in the brilliant faux vanilla and stark orange scent. Absolutely beautiful and jovial. The wear power of it isn't miraculous, but I adore pairing it with other perfumes to kind of coax out the longevity.

I think for what this is which is a simple scent, it delivers. The opening is an intense clementine which although is quite sweet it has a nice sharpness to it still, almost like a slightly bitterness of an orange peel and the creamy element is present from the opening which may be giving the orange creamsicle everyone is talking about. It dries down and changes quite quickly to the vanilla coming through as the more present note but for me the citrus element definitely remains. It’s a fun perfume and I like it.

Yet another than a beautiful fragrance that lasts for maybe 15 seconds before disappearing entirely. I adore this scent. It is a photorealistic milky orange creamsicle with orange zest. It's so beautiful, light, and sweet. Perfect for spring/summer... But it doesn't last on skin or clothes. Extremely disappointing, but I'm sure this would layer beautifully with other scents. Unfortunate they don't have a perfume oil of this, I'm sure it'd layer and last longer. Ughhh whatever.

This is so delicious! The most realistic orange creamsicle scent 🍊🍦🧡. I know some people were confused as to why this was released so late into the summer, however I think this would be beautiful in the colder months layered with different fragrances. I actually layered this with the new Rare Beauty fragrance and got the most yummy spiced orange scent. I only bought the travel size, but I will definitely purchase a full sized bottle in the future!

why is nobody talking about this !? it's INSANE !!! mouth - watering ripe juicy clementines and creamy vanilla ice cream ... trust me , layer this with lolitaland and you will smell edible . sprayed this on my boss at work and we both finished our shift smelling like orange creamsicle lollies . feel like you could wear this in the colder months , too , depending on what you layer it with !

There are these orange sticks from Trader Joe’s, the ones with that soft jellied orange center dipped in milk chocolate. The second you open the bag, it’s just this aggressive waft of sweet, candied clementine straight to the face. This smells exactly like that. Just louder. I literally went “mmm” out loud while was smelling it in the store. Fully involuntary. Like some sort of pervert.

Creme de Clementine is so pretty and creamy. The initial spray is tangy citrus, the drydown is milky vanilla with the orange undertone. Imo it's reminiscent of BBW Orange Vanilla Twist, but elevated. My only complaint is the projection could be better. This is what I'd hoped 7 Virtues Clementine Dream would have been, but was disappointed with that take on clementine and vanilla.

This surprised me; I was expecting straight up creamsicle, and there is a bit of that, but it's more clean & fresh than that. There's almost subtle hint of balsa wood too like the popsicle stick. It's a soft, sweet, fresh skin scent, but very long lasting. I was still getting a faint hint of it the next morning! Very charming & wearable and a new favorite!

This is very much just a sweet, creamy orange. I love that you get exactly what's advertised. It isn't long lasting, as expected with the citrus being basically the only note, but when it is there I do get complements on it. It isn't a go-to scent for me, it is too fun and strong for my day to day, but I love using it when the occasion rises.

I just had to buy this one. It does smell exactly like an orange creamsicle. I do wish the orange would stay around as prominently as it does in the opening. Whenever I have that occurring in a fragrance I spray my clothing more with the scent. For whatever reason sometimes the fragrance opening sticks to fabric much better than skin.

This is an orange creamsicle in a bottle. It’s magical. It is a simple and gorgeous citrus gourmand perfume. It is a very versatile perfume suitable for day and night and all seasons. The notes are mandarin oranges first as the top-note scent, and vanilla as the base-note in the dry-down scent. I love how uncomplicated it is.

Creamy, dreamy photorealistic orange opening with some warmth and vanilla in the dry down. It brings to mind being in the kitchen at Christmas time and I’m obsessed. I get a good four hours projection, and I can still smell it on my skin after 8. For the price, I really don’t mind reapplying partway through the day anyway.

Good option for orange budget version, of lira less complex version of course (the dry down bit) it’s a does what it says in the tin scent sweet orange and vanilla. Like crystallised orange and vanilla. I was trying this as I can’t get Vanille Insensée Atelier easy in the uk but this was a bit to sweet to match this.

DELICIOUS. Starts strong with the clementine note, like a fresh orange peel. Then it settles into the most perfect vanilla, almost icecreamy note. Has the slightest bit of leftover orange in the background - creating the most photorealistic orange creamsicle scent. Absolutely divine.

Sweet and creamy! Very citrusy on the dry down but the vanilla develops quite quickly and mutes the clementine. After the citrus fades, it has a vaguely play-doh like scent but a bit creamier. It sadly only projects for about an hour and remains very faint for another 4 hours.

This is just THE most delectable scent. The strong clementine aspect does only last a few hours, but I equally appreciate the just slightly zesty vanilla that gets left that, for me at least, can last a few days on clothes and probably a day on skin.

I'm a complete sucker for a creamsicle so when I saw this got released I immediately needed it and fell in love. It smells edible. I frequently layer it wifh YSL Myslf EDP and find it helps the creamsicle vibes last pretty much all day.

this is the MOST photorealistic creamsicle scent ever, it just literally smells like a creamsicle and usually orange isn’t my most fav but i want this perfume badly ever since i smelled it, very dreamy and reminds me of childhood

Love at first sniff! Super creamy and dreamy. The clementine note here is more of a candy-like clementine which I really appreciate. Also, the vanilla smells natural and warm. Will be getting a full bottle asap!

I wasn't sure if the "literal creamsicle" description was true but turns out it is. This is a bright creamsicle, very orange focused. Then after half an hour, the vanilla remains.

Holy shit this is soooo delicious. An actual creamsicle. Idk if I personally want to smell like a creamy orange dessert but if you do, look no further friend. They ate this up.

Very fun, cute, easy to wear. Simple and pretty linear - just sweet clementines with lots of creaminess. It does give an orange-creamsicle vibe. Definitely when I wear it, it brings up those childhood memories. I really like it. I got a deluxe sample from a Sephora purchase and I'll be buying myself a travel spray when I finish it. It's not the best performer, though. It stays fairly close to the skin and doesn't project much - which I don't mind, but that's more of an FYI for people who love their perfume to really project and announce itself. The thing I really wish was better was the longevity. It hangs around and gives a lovely scent for an hour or two but then by the afternoon, you can barely pick up a whiff even if you put your nose right to your wrist. It's not exactly the cheapest fragrance on the market, and I know that citrus fragrances tend not to last, but still - I feel like the quality could be better in that regard.

So all the reviews are right, orange creamsicle all the way, in the best possible way. So cute, so refreshing, so fun. Great spring, summer and autumn scent, but I would find something else for a summer heatwave day to avoid it getting cloying. I do have Lalique Soleil Vibrant, also a citrus vanilla, but it ́s more complex and "serious" compared to Crème de Clementine, which is like the fun and unserious little sister to Lalique. After some testing of Crème de Clementine, they ARE different enough to justify both. I just know I will reach for Lalique any day over this as it ́s more complex and longer lasting, so it ́s not full bottle worthy for me unfortunately, but I will happily use up my 2ml sample. I think if the price was better, I would get a bottle, but since I can get Lalique Soleil Vibrant for half the price of Crème de Clementine when calculating price per/ml, that sealed the deal for me to just use Lalique.

My second (almost) somewhat successful blind-buy! Montblanc Signature was first very successful blind-buy. This is absolutely a Creamsicle scent! It makes me want to change my name to Clementine! 😅🍊🍦 The beautiful bottle and magically nostalgic opening has me overlooking the fact that the performance probably isn't any better than a mist in reality. She loses much of her charm after the first hour. But, I don't even care. I'll try layering it with a simple linear vanilla... After wearing this several times I've found that on my skin this fragrance disappeared for the most part at the two hour mark sadly. It's possible I'm just going nose blind to it. If only we could capture this opening and keep it forever... Sigh.

It depicts each scent profile of the sensation of eating a clementine within the first 5 mins. From the initial citrus zest, to the hit of sweetness. From the 5 min mark the vanilla starts to kick in with the clementine, adding a strong creamy base to support the sweet citrus. After 20 min, mostly just the vanilla is left. And it mostly fades away/merges into skin scent after the next hour or so. That being said, I do appreciate the short lasting effect. The initial sweet clementine, as enjoyable as it is, may be unconventional to wear for some places. So I do consider this a unique corporate scent due to quick overpowering of vanilla.

Not that I've ever had a creamsicle but based off what I've heard about them, this is probably what they smell like! Cute for the summer but I prefer the drydown which to be honest is the same smell but weaker and with less of that sweet clementine. I personally think this fragrance throughout is dominated by vanilla but if you have the opportunity to smell it in Sephora then I recommend you try it out because this is lovely! Only reason I didn't give this a "😍" is due to the opening which isn't 100% to my liking

Wow didn’t know how to feel at first. the opening is incredible!!! after the dry down I was disappointed that citrus fades tremendously. however the day after I tried it in the store I went lay down on my bed. I could smell the sweet creamy vanilla dry down that had left a soft scent from the day before on my pillowcases. that’s when I knew I had to have it.

Vanilla and citrus seems to be having moment. I love these orange creamsicle scents, although I wish they lasted longer. That lovely photorealistic citrus at the front slowly fades to a simple, warm vanilla after about 15 minutes, but the scent itself only lasts about an hour at most. Similar scents: Montblanc's "Signature" and DedCool's "Sunlit Blooms"

This is SO GOOD. I love it so much more than Clementine Dream by 7 Virtues. That one smelled weird on me. This one is more of a dream for me. 😍 It's like the perfect union of fresh from the clementine and gourmand from the vanilla. If Clementine Dream didn't work for you definitely give this a try!

The reviews suprise me because this honestly smells super classic orangesicle to me, whereas Clementine Dream by 7 Virtues gives me very masculine vibes; I returned that one. Creme de Clementine starts out super citrus and then softens down to a creamy, milky vanilla. I love it.

This is straight up creamsicle! There is a slight bitterness to the citrus dry down. I like to layer with Phlur Heavy Cream to soften it and add a little milky depth. I love getting whiffs of this throughout the day. Not an every day wear, but a fun addition to my collection.

Amazing photorealistic creamsicle that quickly transforms into weird vanilla orange rind. Way too rind-y. There’s nothing addictive or yummy about it, to my nose at least. Edit: forget the dummy who wrote the first part of this review. This fragrance is delicious.

Clementine is less green and more juicy than 7 virtues, and as a note has better longevity than clementine dream. I'd say the scent bubble is less intense and the fragrance is lighter as well. Waiting to see how this develops.

I didn’t think it could be true but here we are.. a walking talking perfume that smells exactly like an orange push pop à la flinstones 1998. It’s beautifully done, soft, and creamy. Not juvenile in the least.
