Santa Barbara Strawberry Perfume Oil

To me, this hits as a hyper realistic strawberry scent. Sends me straight back to picking strawberries in Florida a few years back. If you're used to the more tart & starchy typical grocery store berries, this'll probably be too sweet for what you're looking for. Layering it with a green woody scent brings the essence of the whole plant together and perfects it IMO. It only has a moderate longevity in my experience but I live in a warm climate and scents tend to suffer a shorter lifespan as a result. I do feel like it's priced a little too high; 6ml for $35 is pretty tough for my budget. I would only buy again during a good sale, but I would snatch it up in a second in that case. Hoping they release an EDP!

I LOVE this strawberry. The best strawberry perfume I have ever smelled, actually. It's juicy, sweet, fresh, not at all plasticky to me. A little artificial like candy but not nauseating. The peony notes shine through after some time and it smells soooo fresh and nice even after a long day. I've been looking for a good strawberry perfume. Strawberry Letter by Phlur is too plasticky, headache-inducing, and artificial and the Burberry Her Elixir becomes too powdery like a grandma scent (IMHO). Strawberry Poundcake by BBW is absolutely horrendous to me too. Nothing compares to this one, I really can't get enough of it.

Forget the toys - this is 100% strawberry jello!!!! Like the kind made from packets ;-) And I'm not mad about that as it's such a nostalgic scent for me ;-) It's fun, playful, and good for layering ( I love it with Chanel Chance eau Tendre edp and I bet it would be great with Miutine - hello!!), but for the cost it does not last long enough! I'll be happy to enjoy my time with this one but won't repurchase - at least not in the oil form. Curious to smell the edp version though! Update - finally smelled the edp today and I'm in looooove and it definitely lasts and projects longer! Dying to buy!!

This is my favourite perfum! I was looking for a beautiful realistic strawberry parfum for years!! This is very realistic, fresh , ripe strawberry!!! It last all day long and this do not smell artificial! They extract the oil from strawberries that’s why it’s more expensive ́ ́o through sustainable extraction ́ ́they say and clearly smells natural! On my clean skin I apply the body spray which makes the skin so soft then few drops of the strawberry oil parfum. I smell all day absolutely incredible, exactly like a ripe fresh strawberry! It’s so calming and beautiful

Delicious Strawberry!!!! Like addictive and beautiful, happy and refreshing, sweet and juicy! I have a couple of strawberry forward scents from Coach to B&BW but this might be my favorite. Strawberry is hard to get right sometimes, as it can lean cloying or juvenile. NOT the case for Nest Strawberry. I find it would be suitable for any age. It smells EXACTLY like strawberry jam. Like you just opened your homemade jar of strawberry preserves and took a big whiff. Very linear but that is okay with me because I LOVE strawberries. I love how direct this fragrance is.

At first I got a sweet strawberry and then it turned into a fresh almost citrusy clean scent with a dash of a berry note on me. It’s like if strawberry shortcake grew up and had a clean girl aesthetic, and just got out of the shower. Strawberry shampoo basically after it dries down. Then like 2 hours after the first spray it turns into straight up a strawberry marshmallow. I love it but I think it’s a hefty price for what it is and how little it last after hour 3 it’s gone.

I find this comforting. I use the body spray version out of the shower as it’s infused with baobab oil and then apply the perfume oil to my wrists. It’s a very gorgeous sweet strawberry to me with vague hint of raspberry leaf (I know, weird!). It makes me feel happy when I sniff it. The oil is really a personal sniff - and does work well when layered over the body spray. Not a huge projections- but I can smell it all day on me.

juicy, artificial strawberry. sweet and bright, very strawberry forward but a hint of tart raspberry and a floral (on their site, peony) that rounds it out just barely from being underwhelmingly one note. however, the latter might be true on its own, but i love it for layering with other fruits or vanillas. also could be great for layering with a photorealistic strawberry for a dimensional scent.

(Body mist) A strawberry that’s slightly overripe with a little bit of peony on the side. It’s way overpriced but it’s just so intoxicating to me... longevity is horrible on skin, okay on clothes and hair. Before buying the body mist, I tested it against the perfume oil—it seems the body mist lasts longer than the oil? Odd. I really wish Nest would make this into something more long-lasting.

I love this because I have many perfume it layers well with. This is such a good strawberry smell. I read some people saying it burns the nostrils, I say it hits them just right! I got the free sample from Sephora. Tbh idk if I will purchase yet but it's good.

I found it stuck much better to my hair than my skin, I ended up with a bit at the end of my braid and it was a fun strawberry jam scent, clearly altered by humans, a bit sweeter than freshly picked strawberries but not artificial in the typical sense.

omgg this perfume is sooo fresh and juicy but not in an artificial fruit kind of way. for some reason it's kind of tea-like for me, like a strawberry iced tea from chattime.

This is a perfect summer fragrance not overbearing not too sweet. It’s a beautiful adult strawberry smell grown and very sexy. Great buy

Not a fresh strawberry scent, but I personally love it and feel amazing when I wear it.

I got a small sample little rollerball of this in a free gift with purchase at Sephora. When I smelled it, it was an immediate love! Something so nostalgic about it which I still can't put my finger on, and no, it's not the 'doll's head' smell as I'd never owned them. Maybe that strawberry lip balm from the late 90s you used to get in the Body Shop, not sure. It really is just a sugary artificial strawberry scent, no airs or graces about it, and nothing groundbreaking. I went ahead and got the full-size anyway. I will say that for a scent oil, the longevity isn't great, which is surprising; even with moisturiser on the skin beforehand, it still disappears in an hour or so, and for that reason, I wouldn't recommend it for this price point. There must be something that performs better out there, but has this exact scent profile. The scent itself I really do enjoy, but the performance and the price really bring it down, id give it a 5/10 for this reason.

This scent transports me to my childhood in the 80’s 90’s. I cannot put my finger on what the scent reminds me of. I’m having visions of summer at the pool. Is it a sunscreen mom used to put on me? A lotion, a shampoo? Strawberry short cake doll, strawberry lip gloss, strawberry candy? Initially smells like floral artificial strawberries and honey. As it fades it’s just pure artificial strawberry. Inoffensive & safe scent. If you’re looking for a spicy, exotic, mature, sexy fragrance this is not it. If you’re a girl looking for a blast to the past try this!

I like this but I wouldn't say its a realistic strawberry. its smells a bit artificial but I would say its done in a pleasant way. it reminds me of something from my childhood but im not sure what it is. its sweet and yummy! it doesn't smell niche or high end but rather smells like a bath and body works body mist and that sort. but theres nothing wrong with that, and i do think its a crowd pleaser indeed.

Probably an unpopular opinion because the notes aren’t the same but based on how it smells on my skin it’s pretty much a dupe of Libre Intense. Maybe a touch of strawberry added to it but they smell the same on me. I love that scent so I’m definitely not complaining and the sillage is less strong so it lets me wear that fragrance to work without worrying about it bothering people.

This is the best strawberry scent I've come across. It's light, but sweet ripe strawberries without going over the top. It does smell the slightest bit "synthetic", but compared to most it almost smells natural. As natural as a candied musky strawberry can smell anyway. Love it layered with Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar or Blanche Bete or any good vanilla really.

To me this smells exactly like strawberry scented body wash / shampoo I used as a child. Very fruity and sweet, but not overly sweet. I wouldn't say it's a photorealistic strawberry scent, but it's still not like those plastic strawberry scents. Perfect if you aren't a fan of heavy gourmands. Fresh and simple fragrance oil!
