Cocktail Maracuja

I absolutely love Cocktail Maracuja! From the moment I first sprayed it, I was hooked on its deliciously sweet and fruity scent. I honestly don’t understand all the hate this fragrance gets—I feel like people are just trying to gatekeep it. To me, this is the perfect summer fragrance. It’s bright, juicy, and playful, like a tropical cocktail in a bottle. One of the most impressive things is its longevity—I sprayed it on the top of my wrist three days ago, took multiple showers, and I can still catch a hint of it! That’s seriously impressive. The scent itself is versatile and dynamic—it smells a little different up close compared to when it’s in the air or from a slight distance. But no matter how you experience it, it’s just a delightful, long-lasting fruity fragrance. I love it!

Fruity in a mature, adult type of way. The tropical fruits are present without causing resemblance to a fruit joghurt, lollipop or sunscreen. One's intuition would tell you it is a summer fragrance, but I would actully place it as more appropriate for spring, since the fruitiness in it is not as airy as citrus-bergamot heavy perfumes more suitable for heat. Rather, it is more grounded and complex. The earthy and spicy notes very pleasantly keep the fruit from "jumping around" all over the place. I would say it is more feminine, although some men might be able to pull it off, depending on skin chemistry.

Cocktail Maracuja really took me by surprise. I'm kind of shocked by the very low ratings. The initial opening is quite harsh and astringent, but after a few seconds it really settles into the most beautiful fruit cocktail. I've always loved Erba Pura, but I honestly think I enjoy this even more (for reference I can't stand Kirke). This is more refined and graceful than Erba Pura and it leaves the most intoxicating and exotic trail. I also seriously appreciate the absence of Ambroxan lol. Can't wait to wear this once the weather gets warmer.

I absolutely love this scent. It is the most fruity version of a boozy night out - a fruity scent for grown ups who are full of fun! The initial burst of fragrance on first spritz is delightful- senses totally filled. A FB will be purchased imminently. I wish it lasted longer but that wont stop me enjoying this lovely lovely perfume.

I don't know how this fragrance have bad reviews, I absolutely love it, the longevity last 12+ hours and im note joking, the smell is super realistic sweet passion fruit , super tropical super fruity and for me is one of the best summer fragrances I have ever smell. Everyone need to try this guys! This stuff is absolutely awesome!

I love this perfume, to me it smells like orange juice concentrate from the 90s. So the smell is somehow extremely nostalgic to me - this is probably why I love it, I don't normally like fruity perfumes. I think it's a little overpriced but I've gotten great use out of my tester.

Love the mix of fruits, which somehow reads like pineapple to me, although that isn't a note listed above. Loved it when sniffed in a shop, and loved it today on my skin.

The base - a lactonic amber - is soooo much Xerjoff Starlight.

This is a weird one - I kind of liked the opening, though I did find it surprising - a lot of salinity, aldehydes, a splash of fruit. After about 30 minutes now, the fruit has disappeared and I’m left with a unisex, but leaning a little masculine, pretty generic and synthetic musk. After a few hours I like it again - really like it. It’s a unique and flattering, kind of edgy musk. Then, I tested out a strawberry perfume on the back of my wrist later in the day and they smell sooo good together! It’s obviously definitely a musk that compliments fruit well - but in this formulation on me, the fruit fades before the musk gets good. Still like it - it would be useful to have in my collection for layering.

I bought this at 50% sale because : 1 - orange is my favourite color and the bottle is a gorgeous shade of orange, 2- the packaging is very funky and I would like to keep it as a decorative items on a pile of books, 3- I love passionfruit and I would like to think this is a fresh passionfruit scent but its not... ok so this is not a LOVE but its also not a HATE. its too similar to Erba pura which I don't really like ... its also a bit too sweet and synthetic and I wish It was a little more sour... but it is what it is I guess. again I got mine at a good price so it is totally worth it... otherwise I wouldn't buy it.

Unappealing on clothing, does smell synthetic if not on skin. But on skin is spiced mango nectar cocktail sipped under the grass-thatch awning of a beach side tiki bar. . I am VERY sensitive to patchouli (kayali vanilla 28 smells like camphor to me) and I dont' pick up anything like that , maybe some earthy-woody thing in the far dry down, which is a sweet wood to me. I never get any overt cinnamon, rose, ginger or jasmine - those are well blended out.

So I have wanted this fragrance for a while given the notes & I was obsessed with the color and thinking it would be a very photorealistic scent. Initially, the fragrance starts a very strong, a bit sweet but with a powerful punch underneath. To my skin, it wears off really quickly so I am a bit disappointed with that, but it lingers nicely on clothing. Otherwise it is a good fragrance.

One of the most amazing openings ever. Juicy sweet fruity goodness. My only problem is that as it dries down on skin, it gets more and more musky, kinda weird smelling, but not a huge problem for me, but it could be a problem for someone.

The opening is vibrant and juicy passion fruit, the juiciest of them all. In the dry down cedar or some woody notes become dominant alongside the fruitiness, making this a fun summer scent for a man.

The front end is delicious. Bright and juicy, and totally edible. Unfortunately, it dries down to a metallic hum on my skin which is quite unpleasant, so won't be investing in a FB

Spicy and musky citrus. I dont smell the maracuja as much as I smell citrus and spicy musk.

An exotic, fruity and sugary cocktail, with Maracuja, a pulpy and fragrant fruit, as the protagonist. A fruity fragrance, surrounded by a very pleasant fruit salad that makes it perfect for summer. Cheerful, joyful: a perfect picture of the summer season. Personally, it is very sweet compared to the fragrances I usually wear, but it will be much appreciated by lovers of the genre.

A beautiful summer scent; super fruity and sweet on the opening but dries down woody and musky. On my skin it dried down to a metallic smell which is disappointing, but it will be a fantastic summer fragrance for a man. I sprayed some in my hair over a week ago and I'm still getting wafts of it even after multiple hair washes - the longevity is insane!

Although unisex on me smells like maracuja and woods, a little heavy because of the patchuli and leaning masculine. Glad i have tested first. I could wear it, it is not bad but nothing special and no FB worthy for me.

This had so much potential New Notes, why did you screw it up? I bought it after only spraying it on paper - big mistake. On paper and the first 15 minutes on skin it smells amazing, just like a fruity cocktail would, boom then comes the next hour smelling - like someone said below - exactly like an urinoir, crazy bad. when we reach about 1h30min or 2hrs the scent is just a basic fragrance that smells like musk ( clean sheets ). What an utter dissapointment this was, it had it all and after 15 minutes it threw it all away unfortunately. A huge bummer because it had all potential to be a second great New Notes - next to a wonderfull fragrance of theirs 'Akigala Mandarino' ( rest of New Notes is either bad, meh or boring ) Long story short, after wearing it twice i immediately sold it.

Distinctive passionfruit and pear at the start, but very weak longevity. Within an hour it turns into the synthetic smell of gel odorizers for urinals, after an hour and a half it gets to faint smell of clean, longer-stored bed linen.

first sniff is an immediate no. on paper. will test again on skin. its not fruity as I expected. its strongly woddy/earthy and an unlikeable floral note. it is different though, i will say that.

Starts out very fruity, a beautiful tropical scent. After an hour you're left with a very average masculine-leaning fragrance and all the fruit-notes disappear. Pretty disappointing.

Cocktail Maracuja opened far more aromatic than expected. Instead of a loud tropical passionfruit bomb, the opening read as terpene-like and slightly minty, likely from the combination of cardamom, ginger, and softened passionfruit. The fruit never became overly acidic or screechy in the opening, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, around the 20-minute mark, the fragrance shifted dramatically. The white musk, amber, cedar, and patchouli base emerged aggressively and completely overtook the composition. What began as an intriguing spicy-fruity scent turned into an extremely sharp woody-musky cloud on my skin. The drydown became so screechy and overpowering that I had to wash it off. Even after soap, cleansing oil, and makeup remover, the musky amber base still clung stubbornly to my skin. I never got much creaminess from the lactones or vanilla, and the fruit became buried beneath the sharp synthetic base materials. For people who enjoy strong projecting modern amber-musks, this may work beautifully. But on my skin, the drydown completely overwhelmed the more interesting opening.

Background: I am a big passionfruit/fruity perfumes lover and had some hopes for this yet I'm not that hard to please. Remember that time when you used a liquid home air freshener and put just too much of stuff, so your house became a nuclear catastrophe scene spreading a mix scent of acidic fruits, AI-generated wood scent and smell of freshly cleaned toilettes? And you swore not to use any home perfume product again? This is what Cocktail Maracuja smells like. Can possibly be used for self-defense.

Funny that there are 13 notes listed in the description, but the only note I could smell was a nasty burnt tire, nose burning aromachemical. I only applied a tiny amount from the sample, and it was so off putting, I needed to wear a mask. I could not scrub that smell off of my arm with soap and water and then rubbing alcohol. It is a nuclear chemical weapon. Be warned.

People, do you really smell any fruits in here?! To me, it smells like the hands of a mechanic, woody acetone and mint + pachouli + dirt kind of mix. I surely see the analogy with Kirke: the same modern Amber (Ambrocenide I assume) that I hate despite its massive popularity. Dina_France (YouTube perfume reviews)

I got a sample of this, maybe it’s just how it smells on me, but I hardly get any fruity notes it smells very generic, soapy, and masculine like something you would smell in an Old Spice body wash. I can’t wash it off and it’s very strong. Not a fan.

Smells like the old pine scented car air freshener. No fruit, no sweetness, matter of fact no no boozy notes. Too much woody spices and odd chemicals

New Notes Cocktail Maracuja isn't as bad as reviews below made it out to be. It's very molecular but it's so airy that I don't get any scratchiness or screechiness. There's a diluted air of fruity passionfruit skin which is notably not very sweet but a little tart or bitter. As if it's been diluted in a jug of water and the scent of the water now has the essence of it. I don't really get specific fruits outside of passion fruit, maybe a little pear cocktail. There's some ginger and something a little green along with the passion fruit skin. The green air could be the patchouli or even the smell of diluted cassis from blackcurrant. Sometimes I feel like I'm anosmic to this because it is very faint, then I pick it up in the air around me. My conclusion is that it's intimate performing. On my skin, I no longer smell it approaching 5 hours but the scent has gotten juicier as it has dried down. For comparisons, I don't fully agree with the votes although most fall in that ambroxan fruity cocktail category. For me TT Cassiopeia is juicier, fruity, and sweeter passionfruit but still fresh from the pine note and musk. Xerjoff Erba Pura is more an opaque creamy-fresh cocktail of melons, pears, and other sweet tropical fruits, yet more molecular and screechy at times to the point of headaches. Thomas Kosmala No4 Neon is molecular but very tart from mango skin and even more green from the galbunum that sticks around, leaning more masculine to me. Kajal Dahab is opaque as well due to having a creamier vanilla base where the fruits blend into, however it isn't an airy molecular scent. It is the most dense and synthetic, with this sort of chemical bug spray undertone in the fruit blend. TT Kirke is probably the most similar to me as it's hard to pick out a specific fruit and is very aired out by ambroxan to the point I'm sometimes anosmic, except I pick up screechiness from the molecular musk with guaranteed headaches which I can't say for New Notes.

I tried Cocktail Maracuja recently and my immediate reaction was genuine confusion. I didn’t even bother spraying it on skin — one sniff of the atomiser told me everything I needed to know. Taking a bright, juicy passion fruit idea and then suffocating it under a pile of hyper-aggressive, beast-mode amberwood molecules feels like a fundamental misread of the brief. For a fleeting second, the fruit is actually quite nice — and then it’s gone, steamrollered by a wall of harsh, clashing woody-amber noise. Passion fruit should be the point. Instead, it’s reduced to a vague echo while the base collapses into that all-too-familiar “fake oud / budget beast” zone — loud, abrasive, and clearly engineered to linger for days rather than to smell remotely elegant. The amberwoods don’t frame the fruit; they wrestle it to the ground, then start fighting amongst themselves. What really seals it is the price. Asking close to £300 for something that smells indistinguishable from a generic, heavy-handed Middle Eastern power scent is frankly absurd. For me, it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience — and a baffling misstep from a brand I expected much better from.

I never thought I'd describe a perfume as "fun" until I came across this in store. This has such an eccentric personality to it that just draws my nose to my hand to smell it over and over again, ruthlessly. In my head this smells like an ice cold passion fruit cocktail with a bit of lemon and strawberry in the background, despite the fruity nuances to this being pretty faint I still do enjoy it. Performance doesn't seem to be out of this world but it would suffice for a beach party which is exactly what I'd reserve this juice for.

Fruity woody chemicals. I just knew it would smell like this but I gave it the benefit of the doubt :( but it's more terpenic than lactonic, or at least v aromatically spicy. More Iike a gin n tonic someone has mashed a bit of passion fruit into. Acridly spicy n piney, not enjoying it. V slightly less rough than God of Fire but still rough at first, better n smoother midway then begins to get slightly chalky woodier but still rough.

The fruity notes are not very clear. They are present but covered with a thick layer of synthetic smelling notes. Something that smells like gasoline. Oud like synthetic stuff. Cocktail Maracuja? no not really. It is too synthetic smelling to bring the impression of a savory passion fruit drink. Gasoline and woody smelling. And that price? are you serious?

Passion fruit and pear cocktail at first when it opens juicy, but then it shifts strangely. There is a cold, almost plastic note on my skin. It stops being a fruity drink and becomes a strange mix of unidentifiable notes with a heavy synthetic overtone. I think this might have been over designed. Too many ideas and unnecessary musk.

I think Kmart in Australia have copied this brand their new perfumes look suspiciously the same as this brand. It reminded me of the original Dolce Gabanna with red cap in the red velvet box strong Spicey a bit strange in todays cupcake world of perfume where everything has caramel

this is a surpsingly masculine but juicy tropical fruit scent. It has ambroxan (not listed above) which gives it warmth and projection but also comes off masculine on me (even delina does!). Pretty potent and I'd like to smell this on a man.

This is, on me, a unisex summer scent with mainly passion fruit and the spicy notes of ginger and pepper. A tropical warm spicy scent that is pretty accurate to the notes listed.

Smells like potpourri on me but on my friend it smells like a magical woody tropical paradise. I think it depends on the body chemistry.

This smells great, although still not my thing, it reminds me of a better version of muglers woodissme
