I get that fragrances are different depending on skin chemistry but on me...I can see exactly what they were going for.... It's like being spanked by the lightest beige suede strap. It really straddles between feminine and masculine. I don't like leather smells but I do like this. It's so well blended and unique...with a gorgeous your skin but better dry down Think Habanita turned wayyyy down and laid on a soft leather couch. Full bottle worthy for me if only because it tells a story.

Lovers of iris must own this perfume. I've read so many reviews written by prople who only read the name and thought about bdsm and gimp masks...😂😂😂.are you honestly smelling that? The answer is no. This is a beautiful leather accord, a bit like new bags, together with some cool iris which is very elegant. I do not get any animalic notes and I believe it's a fragrance which can be worn by anyone, anywhere, office included.

I tried this today (sample) from a perfume shop in Greece. It is lighter than erotika minimale for some reason and very powdery. Not very animalic but there are some notes in there. A clean civet. Iris is perfectly blended and at the dry down, the result is amazing. You get an intimate, sexy in a way, clean skin scent which you can't stop smelling. I don't know about the longevity I only sprayed once. Worth a try, if you manage to get one haha

This is waaaaay too sexy for me, I'm gonna have to sell it. It would have worked in my 30's and 40's, but now I'm just too old. Think gimp masks, BDSM, whips, sex clubs, Berlin underground, etc.. You get the picture. The marketing for this fragrance is absolutely spot on. It smells how it looks. Arousing.

Saffron, violet, mandarin, vanilla - no, no, no, no :) start is medium black leather, not harsh and not much animalic, pretty pleasant and a bit dirty in erotic way (softly bodily animalic undertones) so bit of what you expect and its not entirely outside of what was promised by marketing. BUT...thats only first part of the story, precisely like 50% of the perfume as there is other half and it sits there from the beginning. Whereas more pronounced during introductory half hour, something lingers there, that I have identified for first time in Shabby Chic — Giardini Di Toscana (see my earlier reviews), part of very unsexy sweet nauseating sweat that goes away, takes its time. It might be combo of musk and cedarwood, I dont know for sure, but it breaks the composition in the earlier stage, also dont know what to think of the ending, why such dry white-pink powdery, why not something hard animalic or sultry dark. Longevity of 4 sprays cca 4h in spring weather. Dont be sad, tested on more people and not everyones skin generates this introductory problem. Worth trying, beware of the price though, look for discounts from full price.

Finally found this one today try and I was honestly a bit disappointed. It's pretty safe smelling, just a simple musk on my skin. Was hoping for something with a bit more animal notes, or along the lines of Under my Skin by Francesca Bianchi, or Salome from Papillon, but sadly I didn't get that. I find New Notes always a little lacking something; their marketing is great but the fragrances always leave me wanting something. Nice bottle though.

if you step away from the marketing for a bit, an image that comes to mind when smelling this is, a new black leather car seats. smells exactly like the leather that envelops the bottle. however, in this type of DNA, i will stick with sadonaso and vanille sex. they really have that stinky animalics, this one doesnt, and it is more wearable because of it

Hmmm. Animal notes. I'm going to guess Civet. Depending on how it is used it can be a nice touch. Or it can be much. What are we talking here? A powdery Civet? Iris sure makes things powdery. The note listing is not really that shocking or new. Historically, Jean Carls Tabu was a shock. It was a beast mode scent. Is it in that area? Or is it lighter than that? Not sure.

Wish they'd get more specific with "animal notes"... are we talking poopy hyraceum or a nice civet? Could be nice if it's the latter...

Dior Homme Intense after a day's work at an S&M dungeon in Berlin. Iris, powdery, creamy, but with lots of animalic musk.

Mmmmm...... this could be just my thing! Would love to try a sample.
