L’Hetre Reve

It was an intrigue desire to feel it again and again at first. Warm and charm with charismatic feeling, like a deja vu..."I had this feeling once..." On my skin it was a vibrant first impression, saying something like: closer...pls...more. The base note is unique as I never met before; the plum make the difference...talking with man and women u saw every time how they hold for a second an idea, lightning the question in their mind about your perfume and looking in your eyes...who are u?! hm...nice :) That's why it one of my preferred perfume. Soft and dominant, not intense but when u are close will never leave it again from your hand with a intimate long lasting feeling.

I agree with you Alin100 that L’Hetre Reve is like a deja vu.Instantly my mind was transferred at the scene of Alice in Wonderland,where Alice meets the caterpillar,on the big colourful mushroom smoking a pipe.The charming aromas surround her and bring dizziness,she got to move on but it wouldn't mind if she stays for a little while,after all it's so cozy and intoxicating.

If this is a dream, then it is a good dream. I concur with others who've described this scent as vaguely reminiscent of another fragrance, but I can't quite name which. The patchouli is distinctly in the mix, but is subdued enough that it won't clobber a patch-hater. Sandalwood seems predominant, to my nose. The initial spray, though, was very spicy with clove, anise and cinnamon. I thought at first this perfume would be too strong for such a warm day, but it settled into a lovely incense-like fragrance that emanated a nicely burnished exotic quality. I love perfume that is redolent of incense, so this one seems like a nice, subdued alternative to the strong incense perfumes I generally prefer. The drydown of this perfume smells most like Shoyeido's Evening Zen incense. If you like that, you'll like L'Hetre Reve, and vice-versa. Very lovely, mildly exotic with a subdued quality. I really like this one.

I thought that I was applying a perfume by Heeley today, and L'HETRE REVE opens as though it could be a Heeley: bright and refreshing aromatic, spicy with a bit of a boozy quality, and obviously geared toward the fine masculine cologne crowd. However, as this perfume dries down, its strong woody base becomes more and more dominant. It's somewhat sweet and woody and spicy and has the concoction vibe, for lack of a better expression, which I have come to associate with the house of Nez à Nez. I won't say that it smells stale, but it's moving in that direction. This is the kind of perfume that will definitely not smell good on clothes on laundry day--which by the way, turns out to be a great litmus test for fine fragrance, as is the scent on HRH Emperor the day after I have worn a perfume. No animal abuse is going on, mind you, he just manages to lift scent from me through his ordinary snuggly activities. Back to L'HETRE REVE: to my nose, there is something just slightly off-kilter here, not in a challenging but in a mistaken way. I feel that the wood is very heavy, but so are the spices, and together they start to feel like a house guest who has outworn his welcome. So, no, I will not be pursuing this perfume further. I'm sure that this will work for someone, but it's not for me.

Is this supposed to be for man or woman? I don't care. It's not a harsh masculin scent anyway. It really reminds me of L'Heure Bleue, which is very weird since I always thought that L'Heure Bleue is inimitable. It must be star anise. L'Hetre Reve` smells like a soft masculin version. It is very intense from the tester, but it becomes gentle and mellow on skin. It is quite longlasting, yet subtle and with little sillage. In the line it is "le Mystique". Very nostalgic and almost from another planet. The bottle is essential, the black box is very beautiful and dreaming.

Boozy spicy plum and amber with a faint toothpaste note creeping in now and then. Overall, it's a lush, rich scent with many layers of luxury. I just can't figure out why every now and then I get a whiff of mint toothpaste. It doesn't detract, but it is weird.

i tried it and its not a bad scent but not my taste at all longevity is amazing over 18 hours also when you want to wash it off you can even smell it !! thats all i can say
