Fougère Sauvage

The very first time I have set foot in Mr Pantoustier's shop, I bought this gem. Just for me. It was so unexpected, everything still is, from the shop discovery to man himself and his creations. The quality of the ingredients, compositions and conversation is still quite mind blowing. There is a story and meaning behind everything, full of emotion, passion and enthusiasm. The shop is pure delight, and Mr Pantoustier is its very soul. It's the place out of the time where I have talked for hours about perfume, life, literature while listening jazz. There is even a tea shop just around the corner. Fougère Sauvage is what I needed at the time, the wind to clear my head and keep it cool. It feels like a stroll by the sea, windblown cliffs, untamed nature with lavender that escaped someone's garden. It smells like freedom. Than you're back home, warm and safe, smelling the traces of coconut lotion under your sweater. I don't wear it often, I have to be in the mood or feel the need for it. And the stuff is nuclear, it takes days to get rid of all the traces on me, my clothing, even the dirty laundry basket. Two light sprays, this is perfume concentration, that get transfered to everything else. I'm still thinking about sharing it with people I really like. My brother would love it.
