Minajesty

I was so excited for this fragrance so because I'm in the UK I got it imported over here! And I have to say I'm happy with my purchase! Okay, so I'm a huge Nicki minaj fan, I LOVE her, her music, her style, her character, just everything! But when Pink Friday was released I was overwhelmed with dissapointment as Pink Friday was plain HORRIBLE! But this one is a whole lot better! I don't get much Musk as everyone is saying, which I'm happy about as I hate musk, the Tonka bean is so strong, like its the top not I think, I LOVE Tonka bean so I was so happy when I smelled this! There is also a lot of fruit in this fragrance, I smell grapefruit? But there's no grapefruit in this, so I don't know where this smell is from! The Orchid is the strongest floral in this fragrance I think, so again this is great as I love Orchid! This is her best smelling fragrance, so much better than Pink Friday, PF has that synthetic plasticy smell I think, where as this one is a lot fresher and more natural smelling! The bottle again a lot of people hate, but I actually prefer this bottle design to the original Pink Friday! I love the wig and the clothes! But the same problem with the head falling off is still there unfortunately, I can't pick these bottles up from the head as the bottle will fall and possibly break! Overall this fragrance is a big win for Nicki! Although this does smell similar to Pink Friday, it is so much better! It has a more natural smell and the notes have been blended really well! I LOVE this one and hope I don't run out till its released in the UK!

Perusing the fragrance aisle of the beauty store in my neighborhood, I come upon a topless bottle of fragrance, the bottom portion I notice is a red halter/bikini top thingie. Intrigued, I pick it up and give it a sniff--hmmmm, I like...so I spray a bit on the sleeve of my coat. Man, this unknown fragrance I just discovered smells delicious!! So I flip it over to see who it's by. Nicki Minaj. Really? Reaaally? I feel like I can no longer enjoy the perfume. No woman who dotes on Chloe, Cartier and Tocca would EVER be seen with this on her dresser!! So alas, I walk away and leave it on the shelf, peeking back at it sheepishly. Longingly, even? So I leave the beauty store and am off to the supermarket to get my groceries. As I hand my money to the cashier with the Minajesty sprayed coat arm, she exclaims, "You smell good!" I gush--"Oh thank you so much! Do you know who this is by? Nicki Minaj! Never woulda thunk it." The cashier seems to care less who made it and just smiles and says, "It's nice." Yeah, so needless to say, perfume junkie that I am, one who THRIVES on fragrance compliments, I went back and bought a bottle!! It just smells so good! Fruity, sweet, a little bit creamy...and it made me smile. I'll just hide little miss Minajesty in the back of my linen closet. 'Cause that bottle...lol. But it's good stuff.

I have already done a review on this fragrance, but after having it for a bit longer, I will update it! First off, everybody knows that Ms. Minaj's fragrances are not good, the original Pink Friday was a disaster, AND THATS COMING FROM A NICKI FAN! But Minajesty is an amazing development over Pink Friday! Minajesty, to me, opens up with a very strong fruity scent, almost like Grapefruit, but from the notes listed, I would say its the Lemon, as it is quite tart. Once it is sprayed, the smell is awfully similar to PF, so this was very dissapointed, but after 5 minutes, I smelled my wrist again, and I fell in love! The Tonka bean in this fragrance is just delicious! The Tonka adds a real warmth to this scent, also the creaminess and sweetness that it usually brings! The Tonka is the strongest note in the fragrance in my opinion. Again, the fragrance has no real distinction, it smells, amazing, but nothing groundbreaking. The sillage and longevity are also pretty dissapointing, but it does last a good 3-4 hours, so I only wear it to college. So overall, the smell is really good, its warm, sweet and fruity, but doesnt really have any power. I do feel all these negative reviews are because of the bottle design, personall, I think that is unfair, you should only vote 'dislike' if you have smelled the actual fragrance.

Ok, of course its not anywhere near in comparison with a heavy-weight like YSL, but something in the base that lingered on kept saying Baby doll to me all night... :p I am starting to love this scent, since i can no longer buy my beloved Baby doll, has been discontinued. I know many will feel the bottle is ugly, but then just spray discreetly, and put it in your handbag without the cap - ie. 'the head' as thats the freaky bit ;) Otherwise as a scent on its own, if we isolate the fact that its Nicki Minaj, and that its a celeb frag, i personally think its a rather successful fragrance. Longevity was great, so was silage, and the part i loved the most - the base notes - the crucial core of any frag, as thats what sticks, here i sense lovely red fruits and raspberry in the base. LOVELY! EDIT: This is indeed a quality scent, love it. To be honest i have thrown away the cap, as its too chunky for the handbag, but the fragrance itself is very sweet and fresh, lemony notes are beautifully blended with the fruits and flowers. It projects and lasts very well, for a celeb frag, easily scores 9/10 from me.

I bought a small gift set at TJ Maxx for only $8. What a steal! I really only bought it for the perfume, but the lotion and body wash were very pleasant too. I used to work at a drugstore when the Nicki Minaj perfumes first started to come out. I used to stray from my register during a lull to put some of this stuff on! I was 18 at the time, and I feel like this fragrance is perfect for girls in their teens all the way through their mid-twenties. It is a wearable, every day scent. It's VERY sweet and VERY fruity - so if you don't like such scents, you can go ahead and skip this one. It's a tasty smell - like cranberry lemonade with a tiny whisper of vanilla and musk - just enough to give a bit of depth. I don't smell anything remotely floral, but then again I'm not very familiar with most flowers. This scent has been boyfriend-approved; he says it is delicious. This fragrance doesn't have much longevity, but it's okay because I didn't expect it for $8! Only 2-3 hours, which isn't great but isn't too, too shabby either.

Yes this does smell similar to other perfumes. What dragged my attention, and captured me in the most was, how the lemon, and tonka go so well together it's such a sweet fragrance that I fell in love with it. I took 6 months to decide if I was going to get this or not, because of it smelling similar to other perfumes, but I'm still glad I did, because it's one of my new favorite perfumes, and one I wouldn't want to go without. I got a sample of this at Macy's, and that's when I knew I couldn't live without this perfume any longer, and it made me feel like why was I so dumb to wait 6 months? Maybe I needed to smell it again to be reassured that I was making the right decision, because before I only smelled it in magazines. The smell makes me happy. This is better than her first one. I did like her first, but it smelled way too much like Someday, and Viva La Juicy. Minajesty doesn't exactly smell 100% like another perfume, more like 75% of another perfume. Overall I give this fragrance a 10/10.

The fragrance is just as beautiful as the person wearing it...So get off your high horses. Guelain and L'Artisan don't make you any more high end than someone who wears this. To be judgmental, you should at least have justification..and seeing as how you have yet to smell this fragrance, you have no justification. If you don't like it, then don't buy it. But please, humor the rest of us that are actually anticipating this fragrance, and kindly let the door hit your ass on the way out. I'm actually wanting this. The notes sound interesting. And seriously, are you people surprised by the bottle at all? It's a complete replica of an outfit and wig she's worn before, which is the exact point. It's meant to be odd. Repeating the same comment that's been posted time after time just makes you seem unintelligent. We get it. The bottle scares you. There's no need to post about it fifty times.

This arrived today and I have been testing it all day, this is a beautiful scent no doubt but it’s not the most original, to my nose it’s a mix of Katy Perry Purr and Rihanna Rogue Love so if you’re a fan of either of those you’ll most likely enjoy this one. To my nose this is: a sugared lemon (not very citrusy or sharp at all),raspberry, peach in the very light background, vanilla and a tropical scent I think may be from the frangipani. The bottles I know a lot of people don’t enjoy but personally I think they are gorgeous! However ultimately the downside of this is the lasting power, on skin it’s around 3 hours but after 2 it becomes a very sweet skin scent and on clothes 4 hours, however saying that for the first 30mins this fragrance projects, and it fills the whole room you spray it in, just a shame that it doesn’t stay like that.

Been buying this since release and it’s become my signature scent for a reason. Easy to the nose light fruity works the best in the summer. Dry down for me really enhances the musk and vanilla leaving a nice scent for the end of the day. Bottles keep popping up and I can’t resist to buy it just so I have something to spray and go. Plenty of compliments especially “fresh” and “fruity”. Great to pair with other scents that you want to add something fruity to initial sprays. Typically lasts around 6-7hrs for me without reapply although I spray a lot first apply since it’s not the strongest and do like to reapply a couple a spritz in the day just to keep the fruity smell.

Just bought this today, so i comment on sillage and longevity later on. I really liked what i sensed when i sprayed at the shop though. Yes, its definitely a common frag, like other reviewers have said, the typical sweet juicy type. But, I really enjoy frangipani, as well as tiare flower, and collect anything and everything that contains them! lol The frag smells really pleasant though, perhaps if you are looking for an easy everyday scent and like the sweeter smells, or perfect for a gift for a teen. I would suggest something like Chanel Chance if you are into sweet, but prefer a more sophisticated fragrance for going out / for a day or night out.

I am absolutely in love with this fragrance! it is a little similar to pink friday, but honestly, I prefer it! it is definitely not as good as minajesty exotic edition, but it still does smell incredible. unlike exotic edition, I feel as if this perfume could be used all year around. It smells more fit for spring to me, but could work any time of the year. overall, I really recommend this perfume. Update: I have had this for about a week now, and cant stop putting it down!! I am so absolutely in love with this fragrance. For some reason, I find myself constantly grabbing for it. Even if I am not going anywhere, I spray it on me so I can smell it.

Seductive and playful in the humidity 🔥 I didn’t see the vision until I was in Atlanta and tried this again and OMG it is ✨heavenly✨ something about it is MADE for the hot humid climate. It’s a PEACHY VANILLA that is carried by the lovely ORCHID note yet it’s still refreshing and seductive. Is the bottle kinda ugly? Yes BUT the juice is where it’s at and that is what really matters. I overspray to get decent silage but for the cheap price I paid for the huge bottle I am definitely not complaining. Already made it half way through my 3 oz bottle 🙂 Get this if you want to try something flirty and playful for COMPLIMENTS! 💕

Minajesty is a very magical perfume if I may so so, it starts out very sweet and citrusy and then after about an hour and a half it drys into this creamy vanilla scent which is awesome this perfume on me last about 6 hours which is not bad. Just let me say this perfume smells similar to pink Friday but it's also complete different the only similarities are that vanilla cream note everything else is completely different this is more mature because of the citrusy notes which makes this perfume very good cause I love citrus. If you have not tried this please do you will not be disappointed. Plus I love her bottles!! 10/10

How are you not able to "take this fragrance seriously," when you've never even smelled it? Basing everything on looks is setting you up for a failure from the start. The fragrantica staff desperately needs to delete all this "reviews", because this is ridiculous. You all sound so parrot-brained, repeating the same thing over and over. Once a criticism has been given once, it's incredibly unnecessary to repeat it over and over again. If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you haven't tried it, then get the hell off of this page and stop being judgmental to people that are actually interested in this.

Whether it's almost summer or summer is in full swing, this and Harajuku Lovers Super G (my pineapple go to) are my two fruity favorites! I love the berry and citrus combo with the tonka and vanilla base that does well on my skin, even though I'm nowhere near the targeted market age group. I judge my scents on how much of a headache they give me and on if my husband comments on his own (good) or if he says, "it's too perfume-y" (an). Trashy-looking, megalomaniac bottle aside, (and should we really expect anything less from Roman herself?), this one's a cheap keeper and a win for Onika, the adult.

''Minajesty'' is an amazing delicate, light, powdery and classy perfume!! I just lovee it!! I can smell the red berries, the peach, orchid, vanilla and musk. It's such a beautiful fragrance and a great blind buy as well I think. It is similar to ''Collector's Edition'' by Justin Bieber, but that one is stronger and more floral than ''Minajesty''. ''Minajesty is the perfectly balanced perfume. There are some similarities between them but they have their own differences as well. It is also in the same family as Ari by Ariana Grande. Quite similar. I hope my review was helpful!

This is my favorite perfume Nicki has made. And possibly my favorite perfume. I finally got to smell this the other day, and I fell in love with it. At first you can really smell the Lemon, Musk, Peach and Red Berries. After a while, you can smell the Tonka Bean. And you can also detect a little Orchid. I absolutely love this perfume. I also love her bottles. I hope she keeps designing her bottles like this. And a lot of you need to shut up about how the bottle is ugly, scary etc. It's not about the bottle. It's about the scent. I love her, her music and her perfume.

Another reviewer said this smells like "an overly sugared fruity lemonade", and I agree.....however, I love this effect, while the other reviewer did not care for it. The fruity notes are fairly realistic, and the mix of berries, lemon and peach is a little bit different. The drydown still has the fruit, but also a spicy/floral/musky aroma with a touch of vanilla. This fragrance has a certain freshness which counteracts the sweetness. Sillage and longevity are good.

I love this scent. I have a Gucci flora emerald gardenia bottle and it smells just like it except minajesty is a bit warmer( must be the vanilla note) versus emerald gardenia being more aquatic and fresher. I started layering these scents only because minajesty lasts way longer than the gucci one( it doesnt last at all on me and barely projects). When I layer these two, the scent lasts longer and projects a lot more and they mesh really well.

Smells like lemon candy, but sweet, not super sour. Very comforting and bright. Cute and fun. Longevity is poor, better than a body spray, about two hours before it fades away on me. No real perfume bubble. I am going to let this one sit and see if it improves the lasting power, but my hopes are low. The bottle is cute in a y2k McBling way, but it’s annoying to store for travel. Worth it if you like bright lemony scents!

This is a lot more sweeter than Pink Friday (since people are comparing them), this one actually reminds me of Gold Couture which is kinda funny since this one doesn’t have a caramel note but it smells like caramel. It is fruity when I first spray, it smells like the dry down of Pink Friday when I first spray it but this one dries down very sweet and heavy.

When you first spray it, you smell the lemon, tonka, and red berries, and the dry down about an hour or so later you smell the magnolia, orchid, and frangipani. I really like the first srpay more than the dry down. I still love this fragrence. It's my favorite. It lasts on my skin 4 to 6 hours. On my clothes it lasts a very long time.

This is a pretty and dainty perfume - the bottle is individual but clumpy, awkward and cheap looking - not really representative of the contents. The perfume - it's light fruity floral, clean smell - very light, inoffensive, but unremarkable, and not distinctive, but it is lovely and I can't stop smelling it - it is so good!!

This is my nostalgic simple fruity shampoo go to fragrance for hot summer days when I’m just not in the mood for my super sweet gourmand fragrances which is 98% of my fragrance collection, this is my version of a fresh scent and she gets the job done well, I love this and will continue to repurchase for as long as I can💚

Yeah, definitely ANOTHER been there, smelled that with this one. VERY much like her previous two. Beyond unbelievable Nicki! But, I do LOVE the outrageous bottle! The hair is SO huge this time around, I really got such a big kick out of seeing it today. Haha! So, scent = ok, and bottle = great fun in my book!!! : )

I bought this perfume cheap on a garage sale cause I love the scent so much but I would never pay more than 10 bucks for her perfumes cause the bottles are creepy and ugly. The kid I babysat said to me "What if she put secret cameras in the eyes that watch you". and now I have to turn them around lol.

i LOVEEEE this omg its instantly delicious from the first spray. sweet fruity floral and eventually something woody comes thru that brings balance and maturity. this is my go-to daily/work perfume because its inoffensive and enjoyable, puts a smile on my face and is amazingly affordable on Amazon

Just received mine it smells great! I don't know what Minaj incorporates in her perfumes but one note seems to be a base and stands out in all three of them and it drives me to her perfumes. Gold Minaj because it's what she is GOLD! Minajesty is a must have for sweet lovers :)

I get ALOT of compliments when I wear this! Must really go with the chemistry :P And the bottle is different, some people just can't appreciate different huh. oh, and VERY long lasting on me...remember people, even if YOU can't smell it, odds are other people can.

Tropical fruity and cute! Mixes well with coconut body oil and or lotion. Smells alot like her other one Pink Friday. Not complicated, just sweet and fruity. It doesn't announce your in the room, if you want something simple & sweet this is a cute one.

I was surprised when I saw this at Belk a week before the release date. Definitely not what I expected, it smells really beautiful, and fruity. But not a typical fruity. The bottle is a little out there, but I'll be picking this up one day soon!

Okay first thing first. It ́s Nicki, not Nikki, or Nicky, or Nycki, just Nicki, so at least try to write her name correctly. Second - Pink Friday has absolutely nothing to do with Minajesty, they are absolutely different scents

I like it! A lot! It's a lot fresher and less sweet than pink Friday. More mature. It seems to last a little bit longer too. As for the bottle I don't find it scary, it's unique. I will admit the bottle is really not practical.

This is a cousin to pink Friday. I like this one better. It's a tropical sweet frangipani with a fresh magnolia lingering in the background. So close to Gucci emerald gardenia. A great fragrance for the price. Great job Nikki!

okay so this smells just like pink friday but this is better IMO i get caramel in here more than pink friday i absolutely love that, it preforms better than pink friday too :D just for 15$ u can get the 50 ml at marshals .

The people that are saying the bottle is scary are corny nerds who probably dont even know who Steve Jobs was.I love the bottle,and the concept.It will be number 1 just like Pink Friday was.Im so proud of Nicki.#blessed

Smells like a fresh expensive soap with aquatic notes, its very aquatic great for after shower! And the doll bottel is so cute and unique. Edit: Reminds me of the unisex body&hair soap that in hottels Bathrooms

This science is seriously beautiful.It gets me compliments every time I wear it.And it is great for the price point and amazing.Cause I just last and it's one of the very rare fragrances.I can smell on myself

Very berry and aquatic like a swimming pool! It makes me think of hot fun summer days! The berries remind me alot of the way Nina by Nina Ricci smell, and I love that scent. I love this fragrance too.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this scent. It's sweet without being overpowering and smells fresh and light on my skin. The bottle is undoubtedly a little bit weird but hey, so am I. :)

I love all of her fragrances but this is my new favourite. Nothing to complain about really. Quite long lasting, nice scent which isn't sickly or too strong, yet not weak either.

I just bought this at Macy's today and I was actually quit impressed. I don't think it smells much like her other fragrances. I'm glad I picked this one up. Good job, Nicki!

This was a good buy a couple years ago I still have a little left and I won’t be using it!!! I can’t wait for her to drop the new one! Her perfumes are always good.
