Patchouli Sublime

Opening is fairly sharp with some woody undertones, and then kind of quickly evolves to let the mint take front and center. The mint is not as much a leafy mint or a mint similar to breathmint or spearmint, but smells more like a herbal mint-oil, very concentrated. Over the first half hour the mint dominates and eventually does tone itself down to make room for the lavender to come in and balance out the mint. with (as expected) the patchouli being very prominent throughout the entire duration of the scent. The tobacco base note is not really as prominent, but to me feels much like the dried, ready-to-smoke tobacco and not so much tobacco leaf, it forms a background for the mint and lavender to stand out. So the tobacco here is much different than other fragrances with tobacco that I've tried. The scent is a lot more minty and elegantly balanced than Patchouli Intense, but you can still smell that they're in the same family. It feels a lot more refined and once the mint note starts to settle down, it's a more elegant but no less strong fragrance than patchouli intense. Overall it's not a bad fragrance, but I would only recommend it (due to the price), if you're very specific about how you want it expressed; Patchouli Sublime is a more medicinally minty version with a bit more of an incense-y middle and more balanced notes (thinking of the lavender, which is very authentic smelling). Dry down has more lavender and patchouli Patchouli Intense is more 'rough around the edges', albeit in a good way, where the dry down has more geranium and patchouli.

Holy Grail version of Patchouli Intense; one of my all-time favorites & most-loved of instant loves. But Patchouli Sublime? I hardly have the words... Patch & lavender fans: It gets no better than this! Both of these Nicolai "sublime elixir" bottles are off-the-charts amazing. Get the 90ml vs the 35ml for a much better deal. If you want your first sniff of Patchouli Intense turned into an even-better, mind-blowing 12hr+ experience, here it is! ETA: It's hilarious watching the balloons come & go on this review. Just try it. I stand by the "grail" comment. This is a dense & beautiful scent that puts most the fragrance market to shame, full stop.

Patchouli Sublime Nicolai Parfumeur تا این لحظه تمام پچولی هایی که تست کرده بودم به یه طریقی ربط پیدا میکردن به پرایوت لیبل و اون فضا. این هیچ ربطی به پچولی های تیپیکالی که تا حالا تست کردم نداره، نمیدونم چه نتی باعثش میشد ولی بوی پچولی در اون فضا به خصوص در سایکدلیک حالت تهوع بهم میداد و اذیتم میکرد و اجازه نمیداد طولانی مدت بو بکشم ولی این یه پچولی خاکی مردونه بسیار باشخصیت و مرتب و تمیزه که باید باقی اجزای استایل شخصی دوزی باشه از کفش تا دستمال گردن بسیار رایحه همخوانی داره با پکیجینگ خفنش.

A perfect perfume — a flawless earthy patchouli scent. Its name feels weak compared to the majestic scent it offers; this is the fragrance of elegant person. Extremely smooth, non-offensive, intensely lavender with dry, dark, herbal tones of patchouli. A true masculine scent — not one of those childish sweet, tobacco-ashtray, or sugary dough nonsense perfumes. This one shows how a perfume, especially a men’s perfume, should truly be. In every sense, this is a real perfume.

I think that for the price, I prefer the patchouli intense, which in my opinion is one of the alltime great patchoulis -- soft, restrained, without the sharp earthy foghorn leghorn sillage you can sometimes get in a patch.

I think this one is the king pf perfumes. Such nice and unique, elegant scent. Costs quite, there for I could imagine some more projection. Strong material for sure, must take care of not overspraying however I m still not sure about projection. Somewhow this version gives me some more female line as the EDP version. Definietly one of my favorite. A magical job from Patricia Nikolai.
