Deziro

I get the comparisons to BDC and would say they are 30-40% similar. There's a greenish-blue vibe, moderate spiciness, and amber/woodyness in the base. I don't get the ambergris (ambroxian), sea notes, or vetiver. Its intense in the opening and then calms and smoothes out. I prefer this direction as opposed to a normal blue aquatic. I think marketing this as a marine fougere is spot on. It's linear, but the notes take turns playing the lead in the dry-down. Im wearing this in dry 50-degree weather, so I will wait until next summer to fully judge this. Overall, it's a high-quality scent that's a little green and somewhat blue. It lasts 6-7 hours with moderate performance. It leans a little more toward the late 20s and above crowd. I hope as time goes on (and with warm weather) I will get more of the aquatic or watery vibe. For now, Its between a like and a love. Retail is overpriced, but like all Nishane, once it hits the grey market it will become pretty affordable. I will be back with more of an in-depth review, but I want to give my two cents since so many are dumping on this release. If you judge it for what it is, it's a good release. It can be a signature scent and worn year-round but geared more toward spring, SUMMER, and early fall. Edit: If you took the idea of ADG profundo original (green blue aquatic) and added hints of BDC EDP without incense, then turned the quality up to 10/10 you get this. Im really digging this. Wait until this hits the grey market. I’m now picking up an Ambergris vibe as opposed to Ambroxian, which is a win. I guess I'm also getting Vetiver but it’s blended into the woody notes instead of a full-on Vetiver note. Still no watery 💦 or sea notes, but I will wait until warm weather to finalize that. Edit 2: It's only been about 2/3 weeks, and it's already giving me 7-8 hours on skin and until the next day on clothing. It went from a like to a love.

The opening feels rather chaotic and ultimately unoriginal, offering nothing particularly new or distinctive. The composition is quite linear from start to finish. From the very beginning, it comes across as a typical aromatic citrus aquatic — a style less reminiscent of refined designer fragrances and more akin to the kind of scent profile often found in inexpensive shower gels (Axe and Adidas immediately come to mind). Ambroxan plays a key role here, not only anchoring the composition but also contributing to its solid longevity. Interestingly, in warmer weather the fragrance seems to open up and reveal more depth. A slightly richer aromatic character emerges, giving it a faint niche-like quality that remains subdued in colder conditions. However, this nuance does little to change my overall impression. If I were to smell this blindly, without any context, I would most likely describe it as a generic deodorant or shower gel scent. I purchased it for a very low price, which justifies keeping it, but overall I struggle to see its purpose beyond serving as a filler within Nishane’s lineup. There are so many comparisons to Bleu de Channel here, and they're partially correct - this could be a BDC summer flanker. I currently have BDC edp on my right wrist and Deziro on the left - man I love both of these... When you notice who the perfumer is, Alberto Morillas, it all makes much more sense. He has a certain signature combination when it comes to his citrus-aquatics that you can catch in his creations from D&G Light Blue, ADG Profundo, and several of the Issey Miyakes. While they're all very different, there is a citrus/marine note that ties them together, and we can add Deziro to that lineage. Deziro does smell a bit like BDC, but adds that signature fresh citrus-marine combo that the perfumer is known for, making it an exceptional warm weather scent. Projection starts relatively strong, remains moderate for a few hours, and I can still catch it in the air more than 8 hours later. Groundbreaking? No, but this hybrid of sorts is summer signature worthy. 9/10.

Very much the old batches lets say the first batches if bleu de Chanel, but it holds the citrus and aromatic nuances more together. The vetiver is pretty clear as well as base. The cyrpoil pushes it to be a performer if 6 hours. It's fine for a freshie. Oh and the American yes.. it's a very good one, not the Sauvage type of ambrkxsn. It gives a bit of the marine vibe compared to bdc but only if you pay attention a lot. Beautifully upgraded BDC .. though after a while, it starts reminding me of creed erolfa freshness and ginger citruses with some ambroxan( high quality ) the woodiness and dark sweetness of bdc. So what you get: bleu de Chanel but thicker and less sharp, more smooth and orange instead of just explosion of citrus. The rest though its pretty similar. After a hour or 2 you cant seperate then from quality. But the first 2 hours in the heat it lingers as a much better quality if that makes sense. 100ML 150€ think I made a worthy purchase

Just received my 1ml decants to try and just applied Deziro. I've been anxious about this fragrance because there's a fair amount of youtube reviews expressing disappointment. I'm here to say, to shit on this scent is absolutely absurd. It's great! I think people psych themselves out expecting something revolutionary and if revolutionary is your expectation, you're going to be disappointed. Deziro is a great fragrance choice. 100% edit: I may have to eat my words. I bought a bottle and felt something wasn't the same compared to the 1ml decant. My new bottle has a more pronounced mint note. Together with the other heart and base notes the scent really comes off smelling like mint toothpaste. Fresh mint toothpaste. Hopefully the decant is an example of what maceration can do for the fragrance. Edit: to it's credit it works like a champ in extreme heat and humidity. I tell myself it's an icy mint fragrance, not mint toothpaste.

Another winner from Nishane. Smells overall similar to Percival, Fierce & Legend Black, if you're a fan of this DNA then this is a safe purchase. Clean, fresh, easy to wear and inoffensive, great for office, school, weekends. It starts out like a mix of Percival and Acqua di Gio Profundo then dries down to that familiar Percival/Fierce scent, also a faint anise/licorice note in the background that is more prominent in the opening but still detectable throughout the day that adds just a bit more interest to the fragrance. Overall I'd give it a 9/10 and say it's a safe blind buy if you already like this type of scent. If you're looking for a great performing, clean, fresh, masculine scent this should definitely be in consideration.

I tried this in Istanbul airport. The guy working asked me to try it when I was about to put on Hacivat. He said this is better for airport and he was right! This is Nishane's answer to Percival, Sedley or Elysium. Well done mass appeal blue that's very versatile. It has a very similar scent profile with slight nuances that adds some depth. If you look at it for what it is instead of comparing it to other Nishane's famed releases you won't be disappointed. I could smell this on my collar for days so it's no slouch in the performance department. If you want one unicorn that could be used for any situation this is it! And it's done well by a legend Master Perfumer with high-end ingredients. €175 for 100ml? Yes please!

I think Deziro is a really good smelling fragrance, and I can see why so many people enjoy it. I agree that its fresh, airy, and very easy to wear, but at the end of the day it’s a pretty simple fragrance. I also don’t think it’s THAAAT similar to Bleu de Chanel (of course i feel the similarities) like some people claim. Sure, they share a clean and versatile vibe, but Deziro goes in a fresher, more aquatic direction and has its own personality. Overall, I think it’s a fair and well-made fragrance. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a blue, barbershop-style scent that is easy to wear and very safe for daily use. It may not be the most complex or unique option out there, but it does its job really well.

Keeping this one simple. I really enjoy Deziro by Nishane, and my wife—who has an incredibly sharp nose—loves it as well. It sits in the fresh fragrance category, but it doesn’t smell like everything else in that genre. There’s something about it that feels a little different and more uplifting than the typical “blue” or aquatic scents out there. Fresh, energetic, and easy to wear without feeling boring. This normally isn’t the kind of fragrance I gravitate toward, but this one surprised me. I’m honestly not sure why the score is so low here, because on my skin it smells fantastic. I was negatively swayed by the reviews here and I have waited too long on getting this one... but, I have come to the sad realization, that a lot of people have no idea what they're talking about when they rate fragrances on this website. Is this the best from Nishane, no, far from it, but what it is however, is one of the best blue fragrances out there. If you rate Bleu de Chanel higher than this, it's either you're lying to yourself to justify the Chanel price tag, or you genuinely like the lower quality of the Chanel, and suspect it's not the latter. If you want to keep spending the hefty retail price of Chanel, so be it, more and better for the rest of us. Enjoy.

This is nice. Yes I get the bdc comparison alot. Imagine bdc edp, increase a little bit the mint, the amber and the aquatic smell all at the same time. a sweeter deeper bdc. Some people like the bdc more because it'sl more citrusy and sharp, and deziro feels really well blended and smooth and it feels more sweeter aquatic and on my skin and it’s just very refined and refreshing! A blue signature fragrance for the summer Longevity is a nice 5 hours, Projection is better if you’re outside in the heat, And i just got it but i don’t see a reason for this to not get compliments!

Rest assured, this fragrance is a summertime masterpiece. When my bottle was brand new the mint was so pronounced, like toothpaste, that it didn't smell the same as my tester decant and I was a little disappointed. When I experienced how it performed in extreme Florida heat and humidity I fell in love. I now realize most if not all fragrances will mature and go through changes with age and the mint that was once so pronounced has blended beautifully with the rest of the notes. Absolute Masterpiece! You have to experience it for yourself in the heat of summer. Masterpiece!

This isn’t similar to BDC at all, though it still perfectly fits in the blue fragrance family. I’d take it over BDC any day, especially since they’re about the same price for 100ml where I live. It opens fresh and aquatic, but the real magic comes in the mid, the carrot and star anise shine beautifully. I just wish that lasted longer before it settles into a pleasant mix of vetiver, musk, and sandalwood. It’s a strong 9/10 for me. Definitely mustt try this one on skin. Paper strip won’t capture how the scent swirls around you outdoors.

Massively underrated banger. I don’t think many people understand or appreciate the nuances and depth with this scent. For example, the geranium, carrot, vetiver and mint combined takes this away from the BdC generic comments that most have stumbled on below. Opens up beautifully on the skin for a good 8-9 hours. Is this redundant if you own BdC? If you appreciate depth and complexity in scents, I don’t think so. But some of those below...your choice.

I don’t know why some people compare it to BDC. Sure, they share the same vibe—a clean, soapy, everyday scent—but they’re still different in their own way. Right now, it’s in the “I like” stage for me, though it might eventually reach the “I love” stage. I also think it would be a mistake to compare it directly with the other popular Nishane fragrances—diversity is important. Imo, it’s definitely worth trying, I might pull the trigger soon.

I hopped out of the shower, sprayed on Deziro, and went downstairs. A few minutes later, my wife called down, “Oh my god! What did you do up here? It smells amazing!” I told her it was Deziro. When she smelled it up close, she immediately said, “You need to get this one next...and wear it often.” Out of my 175+ bottle collection, I’ve only gotten that kind of reaction twice: once with Louis Vuitton’s Imagination... and now with Deziro.

Beautiful fragrance, won in a raffle and im so glad I picked this. Smelled in in store before i got my bottle, wouldnt pay retail for this but I say the same for a lot of niche fragrances. Its niche quality, designer-esc scent, perfect for warmer weather. Beautifuly blended, nothing negative to say, blind buy safe for sure. Yet to test longevity as I only sprayed it on myself 30 minutes ago, moderate sillage

Wow. This just take that BDC-DNA to the next level. Longevity is amazing, sillage is just like I want it to be, moderate 👍🏻 Clean, fresh and interesting. Something myserious with that star anise note. They have really done something smart with this one, you keep on reaching for it again and again. 10/10 in terms of quality, longevity and versatility. And yes, you can even wear it wintertime.

Not really a fragrance that smells like BdC. Opening is not peppery and it’s a lot more marine, they kinda remind you of BdC, but they go to different directions. Deziro is more linear and the dry down is good, but I don’t like it as much as BdC, but this dries more ambers which makes it a lot more versatile. A safe buy for niche beginners, but nothing special

Dunno why the hate on this scent... it’s the best blue fragrance I’ve tried to date! It’s in the ball park with bdc and Percival but not a clone of any .... Amyris homme? Maybe if had a blue flanker from MFK I imagine could be this.... But definitely not like any one these one for one... just a great high quality luxury blue fragrance we all want!

I absolutely love this. Yes, its a little similar to BbC, but for me this is far better. its a lot smoother for one and blended far better than BdC. You can smell the quality in the ingredients. Managed to get a 50ml for a good price over Christmas but going to have to pull the trigger on a 100ml soon.

Somebody threw the BDC comparison beit. Many felt obliged to follow.. No way. If anything, this is Amyris Homme. Better priced, more potent, better presentation ( the box) An excellent release from Nishane. ( I own Hacivat, Ani and this, 3 out of 3 successful choices) The hate is juvenile..

Was looking for a fresh citrusy fragrance and came across Deziro which I did not know about and immediately decided to get it, its aromatic, fresh, potent, bit citrusy and slightly salty. Preforms very well. Its also feels like a designer/niche fragrance at the same time.

Honestly this is perfect fragrance for the blazing daytime heat and humidity in Florida. This summer has been unreal!! Brutal!! The icy mint of this fragrance is cooling and refreshing. It's the fragrance you didn't know you needed.

I suppose it kind of smells like Bleu de Chanel. However, to me, the overall vibe of BdC is superficial/generic. In contrast, this is high quality and well-blended. I mean, would you expect anything less from Alberto Morillas?

Smells similar to GnTonic to me. I haven't tested side by side yet that's what it reminds me of. Very nice fragrance. If It didnt have a gallon of GnTonic, I would add this for sure. Still may get a large decant to have...

I know everyone’s perception is different so having that in mind, Deziro is the perfect mix between Percival and Sedley. From far has a very faint BDC. Great longevity but the sillage is moderate at best.

That is one fine fragance for summertime. So elegant while being a blue aquatic one. As said by others reminds of BdC, but just on a much higer level especially the drydown. Much recommended

So this is literally Mizensir Vert Empire made blue and aquatic. Smoothed out and beefed up from an EDP to an extrait. I just sampled Vert Empire and instantly made the connection.

I love it. Blue niche scent. Green, Aromatic and Citrus dominant scent. It has a woody backbone / undertone. Professional and modern masculine. Great for warmer days.

Please ignore the endless comparisons to Bleu de Chanel. It feels like one person says it, then everyone else jumps on the bandwagon without properly trying the fragrance for themselves. After seeing hundreds of people repeat the same comparison, I honestly wonder how much of it is just suggestion or placebo. Deziro has almost nothing in common with any version of Bleu de Chanel, aside from the fact that both can be worn in warm weather. It is not a typical blue fragrance at all. To me, it smells more like a salty, milky body lotion made for summer, with a lingering mineral-salt effect ala the salty character in BDK Sel d’Argent. It is creamy, mineral, smooth and slightly "sun-warmed" on the skin. The salty trail is the most distinctive part and it lasts surprisingly well provided you spray generously. I think this will go very well in high heat. That said, it is still somewhat bland. There is nothing extraordinary or especially memorable about it, but it gets the job done. For someone with a small fragrance collection, it could be a useful and pleasant addition. I am on the opposite extreme, with around 950 fragrances, so I personally have no real need or place for it. Please judge it on your own skin before repeating someone else’s comparison. Stop following the herd and trust your own nose.

A truly clean option for those who love old-school barbershop scents and are looking for a modern take on them. While Chanel Bleu is often associated with them, it's not really related. It's quite masculine and refreshing. Since it's so popular, I'd like to compare it to Bleu for those curious: If you think of the Chanel Bleu version of the perfume, with its coconut and slightly creamier flavor, you'll get a feel for it. It feels much fresher, much more stable, and modern. It's truly a men's fragrance you'll want to keep for everyday use. If they'd used less coconut, it would have been a must-have for me, because I get really bored of smelling it. I realize it's used to make the perfume cleaner, but... well, I can't say I won't buy it; I might buy it in a bottle in the future. Longevity and sillage are a bit above average and sufficient. Yes, we can't afford every perfume. You don't have to buy every review or every product you like after trying it. I recommend trying small bottles of perfume for at least 3-4 days before buying a bottled one. If your nose doesn't recognize certain scents, you'll need to activate the receptors. Therefore, be sure to give each perfume a little time. 8/10

This is genuinely a very pleasant summer fragrance. It’s easy to wear, easy to understand, and versatile enough for any situation—a classic blue scent. It really does smell like you’ve just stepped out of the shower. It doesn’t make any grand promises, nor is there anything particularly unique about it, but I consider fragrances like this to be scents that simply do their job well. The performance is excellent, making it a fantastic blue fragrance. If a niche perfume house set out to create a fresh, just-showered blue scent, I think this is exactly how it would turn out. That seems to be the goal here. It definitely smells niche-quality, yet remains familiar and approachable. I’ll be adding it to my collection when I come across a good deal.

I’m really concerned with how much people don’t understand about fragrance on this site. This is a blue with a big dose of ambroxan like most modern blues... you’re going to go completely nose blind to this. I keep seeing “lasts 15 minutes” “longevity is terrible”. No, you’re just going nose blind, sorry. This is good stuff at a good price point online. Versatile, masculine, fresh aquatic and a great daily driver with solid quality. Spray a few sprays on a shirt, leave it for a while, come back at the end of the day and smell the shirt... it’ll be there.

I don’t get why this fragrance got so much hate. I’m not fond of blue fragrances yet and I found it gorgeous, pretty well blended, smooth and versatile, it has quality, good sillage and longevity. Yes, is not the most original blue fragrance it is an amalgamation of other blue fragrance, but in terms of quality I rather grab this one than Blue de Chanel any time. You can find Deziro at discounters for about $160 USD for 100ml, that sound like a pretty good deal to me.

It's not like Bleu de Chanel or Elysium, Deziro is doing its own thing. It smells good, nothing weird going on. Its a good scent, good realese but the price is to high. Edit: Remember, people are praising LV Imagination and at the same time hating on Deziro while Deziro is less synthetic and also a good summer fragrance. I guess the brand name does matter.

It’s definitely aquatic. All I can smell is the sea and the waves. It’s not a bad scent at all. It’s just little underwhelming. It’s crisp and fresh though - a totally summery scent, although you can start using it in the spring. As a Nishane loyalist, this one will stay on my shelf. Rating: 7/10

Really surprised more people haven't compared this to Luna Rossa Ocean EDT. I own both and am kinda annoyed I didn't realize Deziro was so similar until after I bought it. It's a good scent but there are much cheaper ways to get there.

Why do people hate it? I don’t get it. It is quite an easy to wear fragrance. It is soft and really enjoyable on hot summer days. It doesn’t need to be so different. People are just so snob I guess.
