Fan Your Flames

Today we're going niche and heading over to the house of Nishane. My experience with this house is limited, having only reviewed one of their fragrances, Ani. I wasn't too impressed with the experience I had with Ani; I expected more based off the hype around it and I was disappointed. Today's choice, Fan Your Flames, isn't quite as hyped as Ani but still gets some buzz here and there. Will it change my opinion on the house? Let's get into it and find out; Scent: The opening is sweet, earthy, and warm. The primary notes I get are coconut, rum, tobacco, and oakmoss. The strongest of the notes are the coconut and tobacco. The coconut opens up the fragrance with a sweet, tropical, slightly lactonic accord. It's not overpowering or synthetic, instead it's very realistic and natural; like a freshly cracked coconut. I swear I can even smell the brown husk around it. Up next is the tobacco with a warm and sweet herbaceous tone. It's not smoky at all like some tobacco notes can be, just cozy and dry like tobacco from a premium cigar. This is followed by the rum and oakmoss. The rum confers a sweet and boozy quality to the fragrance that matches very well with the coconut. However, it doesn't quite take it in a "tropical drink" direction thanks to the other prominent notes. Lastly, the oakmoss comes across as a very distinct earthy, mossy, and woody accord with a bit of petrichor added in; like moss picked from the base of a tree in freshly rained soil. Of all the oakmoss notes I've smelled, this one is probably the best. All the notes are very natural smelling and blend together to create what I imagine a very wealthy Caribbean pirate would smell like. The dry down is woody, warm, and sweet. The primary notes I get are tobacco, rum, Chinese cedar, and coconut. The strongest of the notes are the tobacco and rum. The tobacco still has the same warm, sweet, and herbaceous tone but has also adopted a bit of smokiness as well. The rum has also grown in strength and places more emphasis on the boozy, sweet, and slightly woody accords conveyed by it. This is followed by the Chinese cedar and coconut. The Chinese cedar is a typical cedar note; woody and masculine in a strong, sturdy way. It doesn't carry that "pencil shaving" tone that some cedars can have, though. It focuses more on the dry, slightly smoky aspects of cedar. Lastly, the coconut is still present with its creamy, almost vanillic sweetness but much more reserved and subtle than it was in the opening. I also get just a bit of powdery sweetness from the tonka in the dry down as well. It is worth mentioning that the oakmoss note is virtually absent in the dry down, which is interesting considering it's listed as a base note. Performance: Initial projection in the first hour is very strong and can fill a room. Sillage matches that with a heavy scent trail. After a few hours the projection had died down to about 3-4 feet and the scent trail was softer but still noticeable. The fragrance became a skin scent around hour 7-8. When to wear: Fan Your Flames is one of those fragrances that turned out to be more versatile than I had imagined. It has the tropical vibes of coconut that make it good for spring or summer days, but it also has the warmth and richness of tobacco and rum that make it a good pick for fall or winter evenings. For this reason, I feel like Fan Your Flames can be worn year round. When it comes to occasion, it's largely the same. I feel this could easily be dressed down for a fun summer pool party, or just as easily dressed up for a black tie affair. The only place I wouldn't wear this is to the office, just because it's a bit too punchy for that environment. Blind buy: If you like warm and sweet scents and you can dig coconut in your fragrance, this is a pretty safe blind buy. Final verdict: In the opening I was really taken aback by how much I enjoyed the scent profile. It was sweet and fruity in a tropical way, yet rugged and masculine at the same time. By the time it got into the dry down it had started leaning heavily into the woody and warm aspects, but still retained some sweetness and was still very enjoyable. The novelty of smelling like a wealthy pirate was too much fun to overlook. The performance is what I would call above average. Very strong projection and sillage for the first hour, and continuing on for about 7-8 hours until it became a skin scent. Versatility, as mentioned before, was surprisingly solid. I can see this being a good pick for pretty much any occasion outside of office wear. Mass-appeal is another point in the "win column". Sweet fragrances are pretty popular right now, and I would imagine most people would agree this scent profile is a pleasant one. All things considered, I would say Fan Your Flames has definitely rekindled my interest in the house. There's a lot to love about this fragrance, and I do think I'll be purchasing a full bottle at some point. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Sillage: 8/10

This is a beautiful spicy-woody offering with warm gourmand facets showing exceptional balance and harmony. The moment I smelled it a memory of scents flashed before me. By Kilan's Straight to Heaven and Frapin's 1270, Slumberhouse's Ore and Kiste, and Zoologist's Bat went racing through my mind's eye, finally arriving at Nshane'si Fan Your Flames. There is an overall warmth to Fan Your Flames which suits its spicy character and sets the tone for its heart notes of tobacco and tonka, but it doesn't become too heavy and never feels like it's dragging at any point. Instead, there's a subtle freshness, a light sweetness that's achieved through the addition of coconut and rum, and perhaps a hint of mango, which makes the composition feel brighter and more inviting, more wearable overall. The tobacco is dark and spicy, it pairs very well with a dry, aromatic cedar and subtle oakmoss. But again, this dryness is balanced by the coconut and the boozy, liqueur-like sweetness of the rum. As far as rum compositions are concerned this one should not be considered a strong one. The rum is in the perfect proportion--adding to the overall quality of the scent without dominating it or becoming its main character. A light, mineralic quality can be found in the heart and base, somewhere among the cedar, oakmoss, and tobacco. It lends a natural earthiness to the picture by hinting at it rather than shouting it out and demanding it. The coconut, FYF's star top note, is white and creamy, semi-sweet, but again never so dominant as to distract from the other accords at play. The tonka accord emerges deep in the base, and it brings a warm, nutty character to the scent. Though it's hard to put your finger on this fragrance and say exactly what it is, that's not due to any unconfident, ambiguous nature of the scent, but rather the excellent balance, harmony, and proportion of its notes. Everything works together equally to create an overall wonderful, spicy-woody gourmand unisex fragrance. FYF is an extrait, and as such it has reserved projection with very good longevity. It leaves a noticeable scent trail, and creates a nice little bubble around its subject in the first hour before settling down closer to the skin. It has the feel of a semi-casual late-fall/winter fragrance--something that can be worn for quiet, intimate evenings dining out, or relaxed moments at home alone or in company, not necessarily dressed up, but beyond your basic sweatpants and t-shirt for sure. As stated earlier, it is a unisex fragrance, and in my opinion might even work a little bit better on a man than a woman. This is undoubtedly a winner from Nishane, and gets a thumbs up with a solid 8 out of 10 rating. It is recommended for sampling. Side note: Though I personally enjoy this one a lot, I always like to give fair warning to those who may not (after all, our tastes differ widely). You may not like this for a few reasons: 1) The projection is lacking. This is a reserved scent after the initial hour, projecting about six inches off the skin. If you're looking for strong projection, look elsewhere. 2) There is a bit of a "candle shop" smell in Fan Your Flames--a general, spicy potpourri that reminds you of the Yankee Candle aisle during the holiday season. I don't think this smell dominates, and within it I can pick up all the listed notes individually, but for those of you who can not tolerate even the slightest "candle shop" smell, you should definitely sample FYF before buying it. 3) If you're looking for a pure gourmand, this is not it. Fan Your Flames features a strong woody component, as well as a dark spicy tobacco with dry earthy facets. The coconut, tonka, and rum serve as accents, never dominating or pushing this in complete gourmand territory.

Fan your Flames is much sweeter and drier than I expected it to be, but it's now one of my favourite, if not my penultimate favourite Tobacco fragrance now, it just exudes class in spades, while being sweet enough to be playful at the same time. On my Skin it opens up with a dense Coconut and slightly sweet, bitter and boozy rum, the Coconut in this though is very dry, not the watery, sweet and borderline fruity smell that Coconut is like in other fragrances like VIW for example, in this its like you're smelling the skin of a coconut and the remnants of coconut flesh that retain that lingering sweet smell. But it mixes rather well with the Rum, and surprisingly doesn't smell as tropical as you'd expect it to with the notes, if anything (to me) it smells very up dressed and rather polished or refined; it's quite classy and mature (I as a guy in his 20s absolutely love this scent profile though, but others my age-group might be put off, or instinctively think of it as dated, however I couldn't disagree more.) but not in a way that alienates it from other more "mass appealing" mature fragrances if that makes sense. After the opening settles down, the Coconut and Rum dial down a tidbit and their sweetness gets amped up a fair margin, but still not cloyingly sweet on my skin, and they're joined by an equally sweet but also Smokey and soft earthy Tobacco note, that's accentuated by a minor yet noticeable oakmoss accord, in which together, they both scale up the maturity just that little bit more. Honestly the way the 3 main notes play together on my skin is so beautiful and "cultured" if that makes sense lol, it smells so sweet and playful yet upscale in a way very few other fragrances capture, which is quite special, yet it's sweet enough to have others notice you in a positive sense and wonder what you're wearing, while being dry and dark enough to stand firm against other sweet fragrances in the room vying for your attention, in a way that's not imposing but definitely noticeable. As the drydown progresses a few hours in, the Oakmoss starts to become more apparent, and the Coconut skin+Rum start to noticeably fade, as your left with fleeting but pleasant Tobacco/Oakmoss to lead the fragrance out as it dissipates. Projection on my skin was medium-strong (leaning towards strong) for the first 3 hours but after the 3rd hour it tapers down to a dense but pleasant medium projecting fragrance as it slowly tapers off, and on my skin i got about 10hrs longevity which is excellent for this scent profile. As for wearability, despite my blabbering about its sophistication, it can easily be worn in casual and/or formal occasions, as long as you carry yourself with confidence 'Fan Your Flames' has your back. unisex leaning masculine in my opinion too, sweet enough for a confident Lady to wear and appreciate it, but dry, earth, and dark enough that it most definitely leans masculine a fair bit. In conclusion there isn't much more to say about it that I or other's haven't already said, and as much as I'd love to sing it's praises, I've already blithered on more than enough, so if you have yet to experience it, I highly recommend you sample it, definitely not a scent for everyone, but if it clicks with you on skin and with your nose, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I and the other admirers of this masterpiece. Classy, Mature, Upscaled, Dry, inviting, and always intriguing for you and those around you. 9.5/10

Got a 5ml decant in a trade so my sample has been well matured. I always blind evaluate fragrances to prevent the power of suggestion, which is especially wise for this one because there are several aspects which are not explained by the official notes. This makes sense because most "niche" fragrances are composed of at least 25 components even though they don't list them all. On opening, I got an immediate mentholic element. I could smell it, feel it cooling my skin, and it even made my eyes water. I would guess that this contains some nagarmotha, but it is blended very well so it adds rather than overwhelms. There is also a nice bitterness akin to chinese herbal medicines. The coconut is quite dry and not at all like the synthetic Virgin Island Water note. There is rum, but I find it subtle. At the 30 minute mark, the cedar and tonka have joined, along with a damp-earth accord. Earthiness can destroy a fragrance if it is too powerful, but when applied deftly, as here, it gives a fragrance a masculine, foresty and complex bearing. The menthol has stepped back but not fully out, the cedar blends with the chinese herbs. The tobacco seems very muted to me, and I suspect that those who say it is strong may be cigar smokers who associate tobacco with the cedar humidors in which they are stored - because the cedar just keeps becoming more prominent. Someone mentioned that this is a base-heavy blend, and this is true. Nagarmotha, cedar, oakmoss and vanilla all have staying power, and from about 90 minutes onward, they are the main elements, lasting for a good 7 hours in total. The coconut also lasts surprisingly well though it tapers off over the first four hours. The earthiness smoothes out nicely too. If I had to compare this to something else, the closest fragrance would be Lalique Ombre Noir - not identical, but the copa, nagarmotha, galbanum and oakmoss of that one provide the same brooding-old-forest feel. I like this one a lot but doubt that it would become a regular in my rotation due to its non-conventional palette. This is probably best worn for yourself, as it isn't much of a crowd pleaser.

At the opening, you are greeted with a rum, sweet smokey tobacco, and woody coconut. The opening is good, as it brings my mind to an old pirate movie. But not the part of the movie where the pirates are on a tropical island. But instead, the bowls of a pirate ship. The opening is dark, woody, smokey, and boozy. It takes me to the scenes of Pirate of the Caribbean when Jack Sparrow is inside the ship's dark interior. You get that rum in wooden casks and the smell of someone smoking a pipe with light hints of coconuts. This opening lasts about ten minutes on my skin. After the opening settles down, the coconut becomes more prominent, pushing back the boozy rum scent. Woody notes and mild tobacco accompany the coconut, which you pick up occasionally. These middle notes projected off my skin for four to five hours. After the middle notes, you enter the dry down, which consists of sweet and woody notes. The dry down is simple but enjoyable because it's easy to wear. As an extrait de Parfum, Fan Your Flames exceeded my expectations. The opening projected brilliantly off my skin, akin to the strength of a freshly plugged-in glade-scented oil. Even after the opening, I enjoyed a good projection for the next five hours, extending to about arm's length. As the dry-down phase set in, the fragrance nestled closer to my skin, lingering for a satisfying twelve hours. The overall projection and longevity were truly impressive, both on my skin and clothes. Fan your flames is a fun olfactory experience. It is an excellent take on rum and coconut fragrance, bringing these notes to the cold months. As stated before, this brings my mind to a pirate movie. Furthermore, it also brought back great memories of my last trip to Cuba, where you were presented with beautiful rum notes and tobacco and coconut. I'll post some pictures of my trip along with my review. Overall, this is an excellent take on these notes, and it is unique as it gives you a different wearing experience in the cold months to my other fragrances.

Nishane's Fan Your Flames is undoubtedly one of my favorites from the house, offering a boozy, rich, and indulgent experience that stands out in the niche fragrance world. From the first spray, it immediately evokes the scent of rum and cola, blending a deep, sweet-ish, and spicy booziness. If you're specifically looking for coconut, as it is listed in the notes... you will be disappointed. Instead, I can smell a realistic cola accord. In my opinion, this fragrance does it better than Roja’s Enigma, which leans more towards a cognac-heavy warmth rather than a true rum-and-cola feel. Fan Your Flames, by contrast, captures that perfect balance of sweetness, spice, and effervescence, making it a bit more "fun" in the opening. As it dries down, the composition evolves beautifully, bringing out a warm, mildly-smoky tobacco note that feels rich and textured. There are faint similarities with Lattafa’s Honor and Glory in the later stages, particularly in the interplay of warm, slightly sweet tobacco and woods. However, Fan Your Flames has a much more pronounced tobacco presence, which emerges more distinctly as the fragrance settles. Lataffa's fragrance plays more on the cinnamon & sandalwood accord. Overall, this is perfect for cooler weather, nights out, or when you want something bold, cozy, and smooth. If you enjoy boozy, tobacco-laced (but not dominant) fragrances with a unique cola twist, this one is absolutely worth trying.

I have been on a mission to really justify when I buy things, I.e no need for more than 1 clear lipgloss or body wash, etc. the same logic applies to my perfume buying. Except this one, it’s my greatest and most loved exception. Do I need a perfume for summer nights? No. Not really. The UK whilst getting hotter every year, still doesn’t have enough justifiable hot nights to keep getting a big decant of this, let alone enough when I’m going out in them (I’m an afternoons person’s what can I say) but I always always always have a dacant of this specially for a hot summer evening and it makes me so excited when I can finally break it out. It lasts and projects amazingly, boozy, warm, rich, with earthly unsweetened coconut. As with everything I like it leans a little sweet from that amazing tonka, which really comes out on my skin. The tobacco is sexy, and is actually much more subdued on me, like wearing a second hand coat of someone who used to smoke. The rum is the absolute star, it makes this perfume incredibly fruity on me. I’m a girly girl and I think it depends on your skin how this pulls, as it’s unisex for me. Honestly this is boardline signature for me but I just don’t see it being usable in any other season. Surprised by the winter rating but I am willing to try it in winter and will update.

Seek those who fan your flames." 🔥 - Rumi, Persian Poet, 13th Century. This is the quote by Rumi which inspired Nishane's Fan your Flames, probably one of the best perfumes I've ever smelled. A combination of coconut, tobacco and rum that gives a warm Caribbean touch to the sweetness of tonka bean and to the woodiness of Chinese cedarwood. Oakmoss completes the picture. F.Y.F. is an extrait of parfum, this means that sillage and persistence are huge! It's an unisex fragrance, in my opinion more masculine but it can suit women too without problems! This is why I decided to make myself a "little" gift and buy it, I just couldn't resist... I fell in love at first "sniff" 🎁😍 It's wild, pure fire, but at the same time charm in a bottle. Preferably to be sprayed in autumn/winter because as I said, it's literally fire! HOT 🥵 The bottle is very elegant and it comes in a beautiful box with an amazing postcard. Well done Nishane! 👏🏻

Nothing what I expected, but I love it, but it's more green like than anything else, very fresh, but after a while, it gets a little more dark, if you love oakmoss, this is for you, and also hints of heavy wood smell, I'm not sure if it lasts a long time because I keep smelling it when I spray it on me and my nose gets use to the smell, but when I spray my wrist, the next day I still smell it lingering on my wrist, but know when blind buying this, don't expect it to be straight on tobacco, rum, coconut, oakmoss is definitely the top note, but everyone is different Overall: very fresh, somewhat dark, very green, then sweet and creamy after 5-6 hours (but you have to put your nose to skin for that) vanilla smell but creamy from coconut, you get the tobacco, I don't know why it's listed unisex, it's mostly a mans fragrance, but a woman could definitely pull this off to, but it does smell more masculine I got this less than a week ago, and if you own a bit of cologne, you know how it matures quite a bit in your closet, so my opinion may change

I really don’t get some of the reviews here. It feels like some people are commenting without actually trying the perfume, which can be confusing for others. *Fan Your Flames* is a sweet, creamy coconut, boozy, tobacco, oakmoss scent. You can definitely smell everything that’s listed. Of course, everyone’s nose is different, but comparing it to *Red Tobacco Intense* is like comparing apples and oranges. I’m not here to say one is better than the other, because *Red Tobacco Intense* has its fans, but the tobacco in these two is completely different. *Fan Your Flames* starts with tobacco and boozy - creamy coconut, and then dries down to oakmoss, with still very permanent sweet coconut. It’s comforting and definitely not as harsh as *Red Tobacco Intense*. It’s not a fragrance for everyone (for me it’s 10/10) and I wouldn’t suggest buying it blindly, but if you’re looking for something cozy for colder months (or even some summer nights), this one’s worth checking out.

Liking scents like these makes you realize what kind of nose you've got and what type of person you're, this is signature scent worthy, you can bet absolutely nobody else will smell like you, the rum, tobacco and coconut with a slightly touch of sweetness coming from the tonka bean are done incredibly well in here, projection and performance are what you'd expect from an extrait, 10-12+ hours easily. Also, I see people comparing this to antique brown from zara, they only have some very minor similarities but I find the zara one to be on the really weak side, the coconut is not there, you mostly get tonka sweetness with a very toned down tobacco note and that's it, no boozy note neither in antique brown as well, it's still a great scent, just very poorly performance for that one. On the other hand, Nishane's an absolute masterpiece imo, specially for those with a better trained nose.

As first impressions Just wow! I blind bought this one after a lot of thinking and reading reviews on it, i pulled the trigger on 50ml bottle and im glad i did! Definitely situational and occasional but hella sexy fregrance! I guess my 50ml bottle will last me a good amount of time due to the lacking of versatility. A great blind buy for me, although I won't suggest anyone to blind buy any perfume cause that is not the smart thing to do but i had no choice since i didn't find any store that provides a tester of it in my city, don't do it unless you like to play this game once in a while! One last advice, Stay clean and smell good fellas! Update: longevity and projection is pretty bad, is it a batch problem? Does anyone face the same issue? I have the newest batch (that doesn't show the exact history of production but made at 2024 or later.m)

This is my second review, and I am doing it to help those of you who keep smelling that menthol or Vicks Vapor Rub note here. It happened to me, and to my son. He said FYF smelled like "a nice minty gum." Not acceptable. It's frustrating, it happens right from the jump for some of us, and it ruins the entire experience of the fragrance. I didn't accept what happened. I kept trying, wearing it every week, trying to smell all the notes and stop smelling the menthol. Here's what finally worked: One day, all day, I wore rose oud frags. And at the end of that day of huge dark rose rose rose and oud oud oud I sprayed Fan Your Flames on my wrist. There it was! Every note was there in warm rich 3-D. Gorgeous. I was right there in it. I will always have a bottle of this. So please don't give up on Fan Your Flames. It's a work of art.

Fan Your Flames is one of those scents that quietly sticks with you. I absolutely love the boozy note blended with coconut — it’s warm, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced. To me, this is a true winter fragrance. It’s calm and cozy rather than loud or attention-seeking. It doesn’t pull a ton of compliments, mainly because the projection and longevity aren’t beast-mode, but that’s not really the point of this scent. It creates a beautiful, intimate aura and honestly sets a really nice memory for the winter season. It’s the kind of fragrance you wear for yourself. I actually finished the entire bottle, and feeling a little sad when a bottle is almost empty says a lot. That alone tells me how much I enjoyed it. Considering how affordable it is on tester websites, I’d totally repurchase — it’s absolutely worth the price.

I discovered this perfume while browsing for something new at the Nishane stand in the airport during a trip. The attendant suggested I try Fan Your Flames. I smelled it for the first time at the airport and fell in love! Even though I sprayed it twice during the entire flight, it still sweetly lingered in my nose. I tried the first 3ml decant and decided to buy a bottle. As for the perfume's details: When you first spray it, it starts with a sweet, slightly greenish scent, followed by a very nice rum scent, and then blends beautifully with coconut. The amazing harmony of oakmoss/tonka bean - tobacco - rum and coconut... The scent quality and longevity are exceptional. I think it's essential to wear it in very cold weather. Definitely a 10/10.

This definitely wasn’t what I expected. And as I’ve had time to wear this, I’m happy about it. A boozy, woody fragrance with a burning coconut note. The coconut isn’t a typical coconut to my nose. It literally smells like a fresh coconut that fell from the tree tossed onto a fire. It has no resemblance to a synthetic suntan lotion type of coconut. This smells incredible in the air, and although very likeable, I’m not sure this is blind buy worthy. It’s a bit more of an advanced scent profile. As it dries, it gets better and better. IMO this is a spectacular fragrance. It could be someone’s signature scent, in which case, it could be worn anytime. However I think, fall, winter, along with spring and summer evenings is where this shines.

Still my all time favoute fragrance, it's just so unique and so incredibly alluring to my nose, the realistic coconut, rum and tobacco notes are so delicious, I've smelled and even own many of the 'this perfume reminds me to' fragrances and none of them comes anywhere close to fan your flames, it's been my signature scent from the moment I got it and even though I wear Ani from Nishane more often, this one is the one that I feel really aligns the most with my own taste, superb performance and sillage, a must try for boozy scent lovers, you're guaranteed to smell like nobody else with this one, I wouldn't personally wear it during the heat of summer but it can be worn on spring due to the coconut, night time scent

Let me start by saying that this fragrance is not for everyone. Of course, when you spray it on someone's wrist or even smelling it from the atomizer, it might seem that way, but when you wear it and enter a crowd... That's a whole different story. You will receive a lot of compliments (I know, for many guys this matters, and it's very pleasant to girls too). It's not an everyday fragrance, but it's not just for date nights either. I would recommend it more for special occasions or party settings... As for its uniqueness, it's very unique, but at this price point ummmmm it's not worth buying unless you can find it at a discounter, in which case it is worth the purchase. Overall rating: 8.5/10

This makes tribute to his name. But not for me. It's flames, but i am not a fan (Yes, lame joke). Smoky, slighlty boozy, sweet coconut oppening with a very incensy burnt drydown. Imagine you order at a bar, and you get the smell of those burning little pieces of wood to make the exquisite Old Fashioned cocktail. Well, this is that. Not that it is bad, but for me, it is a pass just because of the versatility to wear it. Still i have to say that this is an excellent performance. 8 plus hours. Fall and winter are the perfect time to wear. It's mature and sophisticated. Maybe a bigger decant for when i want to get that dark and mysterious vibe. Try it on 5 ml decant

Amazing blind buy. I watched a handful of video reviews and noticed several glowing ones here. However, you just can't trust them. I am nearing # 400 and you certainly can't trust me. We are all built different. Just received this yesterday and wore it last night and again tonight. This rocks. Its like taking fresh coconut shavings and tossing them in to warm tobacco ashes. Like you want to make toasted coconut flakes. But certainly not in a bad way. In a really mesmerizing way. Great performance. Still on clothes in the morning. Instant favorite for me. My second one from Nishane. Looking forward to others. This profile is preferable to me over Hacivat.

Deally, really great, It's just a simple and yet so addictive. In this beautiful fragrance you could smell the creaminess from the coconut and the tonka bean mixed in with the masculine tobacco and sexy rum. As it dries down to this peppery woody notes that is blend in so smoothly. The Longevity on this fragrance is phenomenal it lasts 12+ hours on my shirt and the sillage is beast. Overall, such a fantastic fragrance. I would say that this is luxury in a fragrance. Scent: 10/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 10/10 Price: 8/10 Versatality: 8/10 Overall: 9/10 I did not blind buy this but if you like jazz club you should like this.

Nishane fan your flames: Unlike Ege which I sampled along this, Fan Your Flames is an absolute masterpiece in coconut perfumery. The opening is capital S Strong with an extremely dense and heavy coconut, boozy accord. This fragrance reminds me so much of a warm ice cream shop with a prominent scent of Jamaican Rum. I am absolutely in love with this fragrance. The dry down is actually quite similar to the opening to me, not necessarily linear but the coconut rum accord is pretty present at all times. In the dry down though is the most beautiful sweet tobacco that definitely reminds me of PDM Herod. 10/10

I wasn’t the biggest fan on the first few times trying but this totally grows on you. Felt a little too spicy but now it’s just beautiful creamy, boozy coconut on a tobacco base. Really smooths out in the drydown and is actually quite a bit more masculine than I expected it to be. Definitely gonna wear this on a cold night out to a bar or a jazz club. Longevity is great and so is the projection, especially since I got a older and macerated batch off of Ebay. Total steal considering the potency. Atomizer is decent. Scent: 9/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 9/10 Versatility: 6/10 Price: 7/10 Overall: 8/10

This is a powerhouse performer, evoking sexiness and strength. A very addictive fragrance with boozy,rich resinous and sweet notes. Actually surprised to see it has coconut notes(couldn't get that at all). Probably that is the sweet note I'm getting from stopping this from just short of coming on to be too screechy/offensive. Scent profile is perfect for cooler season/nights. Some have pointed out the menthol/minty tones...honestly,I do not detect that at all. Even on first spray of ever purchasing this. My deepest sympathies for those who hate this one ...because this is gradeA sexy in a bottle.

Scent: 9/10. The tobacco smells a little bit rubbery at first, but if you can get through the first 15 minutes, it smooths out a little bit. The blend is generally smooth with a satisfying woodiness from the cedar and rum alongside a rich, nutty coconut. Bottle: 6.5/10. Looks nice, I guess. Nothing to write home about. Performance: 9.5/10. Very long-lasting, projects very well. I would stick to 3-4 sprays max. Definitely not safe for school/work environments. Overall: 9/10. Unique scent profile, great performance, super comforting and perfect for the winter. Would love to have a full bottle.

For the first 30-40 minutes , the smell is similar to maybe a car diffuser with vanilla and rum. When the tobacco shines (1hour - when the perfume fades away) that’s when this fragrance is a masterpiece . The tonka is in contrast with the tobacco and the cedar , transporting the wearer to a whole another world In short , the opening is rather weird than harsh or overly sweet , but then it grows into a dark , masculine fragrance. Easily lasts 12 hours on me with great projection and sillage in the first 4-5 hours . Great fragrance by a great niche house

Man this is GOOD ! It smells exactly like you'd expect reading the notes : a boozy coconut laying on harsh tobacco and dry woods. What a combo. It's daring yet wearable, explosive yet smooth. The tonka really helps because without it this would be extremely dry and it'd be ruined. This smells extremely masculine to my nose. Really love this one, but I don't think you can just casually wear this. You need to be somewhat confident and bold, because this will get you noticed and this will deliver a message to those around you.

This fragrance is great for anytime you want to smell sophisticated and woody. At first, I really don't pick up the coconut, but I can smell it slightly throughout the dry down. The main notes I get are the oakmoss and cedar, with some boozy notes. I enjoy this fragrance, it's sophisticated yet not overly mature. This gets a solid 8.5/10 for me. Edit: As I smell this more and more, the coconut and rum have started to become more prominent to me. This is something I could imagine myself wearing on a Caribbean night.

This one is so interesting. Got a decant and sprayed it on paper and didn’t like it at all just some smoke and coconuts. Put my decant away. A month or so later I’m actually wearing it on skin and now I want a bottle. I’m getting a beautifully blended mix of coconut, rum, tonka and tobacco with cedar in the background. The tobacco is like a fresh pack of cigarettes when you open them but light. The coconut isn’t like suntan lotion, either but like realistic coconut milk style. Gorgeous scent bubble too.

This fragrance is good. I was afraid of coconut note in perfumes because of Le Beau, however, things changed when i met Fan your flames. It's blended really well, coconut not too strong not too creamy for me, just fine enough. Along with coconut, i can sense clearly tobacco and rum, i mean the spicy and a little bit sweet. At top and mid notes, I have the pretty same feeling for Naxos, nevertheless, in the end, the woody notes shine up, make a warm and masculine scent

Agree with blue collar below, this is a summer banger. Yes I totally get the whole tobacco/rum thing being a winter vibe and it’s got that heavy boozy thing going for it but.... The real magic of this in my eyes is the transportive artistic nature of it, to me it’s pirates of the Caribbean and screams of tropical nights in Barbados. If I’m going on a summer holiday and looking at fragrances to take this is in the top 3, but never daytime, always after dusk. Magic ✨

NISHANE- Fan Your Flames. Nishane- FYF has such a dark rich scent of tobacco and rum, with this pulse of sweetness and the right amount of coconut. It's truly a masterpiece on its own. This is one fragrance I would recommend to a mature man who wants to stand out. This scent is really bold and makes a statement so I do not recommend this for office work. The only Con i have with FYF is that I can't wear this all the time. I rate this a 9/10.

Classy, unique fragrance. Definitely get the rum but the coconut isn't as strong as others say. I'd say this is more masculine and the kind of thing you'd smell on a rich 30 year old with 'old money' in the evening. I'd recommend only if you buy it through a discounter though as it's quite pricy. It's strong and long lasting so 2 sprays is enough to last the day so that slightly compensates for the price as you'll get quite a lot of usage.

Back for a second comment for this absolute beauty, and my first niche purchase. I only want to say this. You can absolutely wear this in summer! One spray to the back of the neck and that's it! Holy moly does this smell intoxicating in the heat. That coconut pops way more. Beach bar vibes all day. Do this. Grab your GNTONIC for the summer day. Then when the sun sets, pop this on the back of your neck. Like Bill Burr says. OVAH DUDE!

I originally bought a bottle which smelt more medicinal /mentholy/camphory and I wasn’t a fan. Sold that but then came across another bottle for a good price and decided to give it another try. This one is more coconut and rum heavy, with the medicinal vibe way off in the background. I love it. Now I’m not sure if it’s a difference in batches, maceration, or just my nose adjusting to the scent. Anyways, awesome frag.

Yesterday finally arrived this Masterpiece after couple months testing and finally bought it can’t describe how much l luv this fragrance it is so unusual beast mode 2023 year batch , smells like astray with coconut and tobacco ❤️🔥🔥 never smelled anything like it, my 4th Nishane and this is best in my opinion from Nishane not safe blind but worth every penny, signature scent,special occasion only ✌️💕❗️💣🔥

I don't get a ton of coconut, but very sweet rum with very dry woods. Almost like a tree that's fallen over and baking in the sun. Dry woody rum, with the slightest amount of coconut and creamyish base. Need to try fan your flames X, I've also found that all nishane's, even decants, benefit from some type of maturing. Def can be used year around, but better for colder weather or summer nights.

This is one of my absolute favorite perfums but the duality of it is driving me nuts. In winter, it gives a rich, boozy aroma that turns into coconut-y liqueur chocolates in a couple of hours. But I simply cannot stand it in summer since for some reason it starts to smell like lye soap just a tiny bit but enough to turn me off. So, yes, perfect for winter, not so great for summer.

Just got this one and man, i think i have a new favourite scent. I love the opening with the coconut and rum, it reminds me of batida de coco with some extra added rum. Then it dries down to a sweeter/woodier kind of tobacco scent with rum, the sweetness of the tonka beans and the woodienes of the chinese cedar. Might be my new signature scent of winter 2024

Oh Fan your Flames! The best season to use this beast is here WINTER. This stuff Huges you and make you feel so damn good in the cold. cold so damn good, cozy, warm, dry, projection in this is Beast mode! longevity is amazing Wow! 10/10 master piece for the Winter! The only downside is versatility this sucks in the heat! Please avoid above 15C degrees

Got this today one more to add to my collection. I get that rum right off the bat this is nice and boozey in the opening the tobacco i pick up which is nicely done.All in all another home run from Nishane.This is becoming one of my favorite houses.I have blind bought 10 fragrance over the past week from the house they kill it every time.

I didn't think I would love this so much. this fragrance very boozy and little tobacco. if i have to explain this smell it smells like Coconut flavored Malibu and coconut cigar. first spraying it smells very boozy after it fades coconut rum and little tobacco. I really love this fragrance it so wearable for winter days.

Unironically the best perfume I have ever smelt and It has monstrous Sillage and longevity. On my skin I get dusty coconut, spicy tobacco like pdm herod in a way, this dirty oak moss and woods with this amazing rum note to mix it all together. Very sexy statement making fragrance wouldn't recommend blind buying though.

Fan your flames is an elegant bomb of coconut and rum, this one awed me. this is toned down in a good way its perfectly in symphony with all the ingredients this smells like nothing else out there with these notes somehow this boozy coconut combo works to transfer comfort to u.

Summer day & night. Gives me a cigar store room smell/cigar box with a hint of coconut. Others perceive the coconut I really dont. Favorite Summer fragrance, i rotate this for more serious part and Roja Oceania for lighter brighter part. Projection is great.

It’s goooooood. I don’t even get the rum (don’t like rum) and hardly any coconut. In fact on paper I wouldn’t go for it at all, but on my skin it’s so cozy and comforting. It’s soft and dark. It also has a clean touch. I’m a fan :D
