Oudous Cerasus

Oud is the soul of perfumes ( either natural or synthetic ) providing depth, complexity and internal beauty... Starts with a room filling burst of a refreshing citruses...but immediately you can feel the Oud accord surrounding the zesty sweety opening telling you I’m here ( not funky or skanky but fruity woody type )... Citruses here smell like lemon pie with fruity bubblegumy nuances... The citrusy opening is stunning and continues for more than 2 hours before it dries down, which is amazing .... Cherry !! I can not detect it, only mixed fruity citrusy vibe ( masterfully blended ), Do not expect TF Lost cherry or Boadicea Bodacious vibe here .... With time the Oud becomes more dominated, mixed with resinous sweet balsamic vibe...making the heart deep & powerful...It has warm beautiful fruity aroma...smooth rounded edges...a perfectly blended At the late drydown there is a strong Leathery vibe (coming from Labdanum I think) joins the show with the fruity Oud giving it more depth & limits the fruity sweetness.... The performance is excellent with great projection, sillage & longevity ...totally unisex & joyful to wear...best for colder days.... ❤️❤️🌹❤️❤️ العود طبيعى او صناعى هو روح العطور...يمنحها العمق و التعقيد و يضفى عليها جمال و سحر داخلى...تبدء هذه التحفه العطريه بافتتاحية قويه من الحمضيات المنعشه ( رحيق من ليمون مخلوط بفاكهه بارده )...من الوهله الاولى يظهر العود ليخبرك عن و جود ابداع قادم فى الطريق... مسيطرا و مخففا للمحه السويتيه للبدايه الفاكهية....العود هنا من النوع الفاكهى الدافىء و لا يوجد لمحات حيوانيه قويه...الحمضيات تظل على قيد الحياه للساعه الثانيه و لكنها هادئه و ناعمه...نوته الكرز غير ظاهره فى العطر، فقط المس خليط فاكهى حمضى ناعم...مع الوقت يظهر العود تدريجيا مع خليط من الراتنجات البلسميه السويتيه ...فى القاعده تظهر نوته الجلود بصوره قويه مع خليط من العود الفاكهى معطيه قوه و تعقيد و جمال للعطر .... اداء العطر عظيم من الفوحان و الثبات ( يستمر فى التدرج و التغيير طول الوقت ) و يصلح للجنسين و مناسب جدا لليالى البارده...🌹❤️❤️🌹 Instagram@ Egyptian_jasmine 📸

I am confused and I don't mean to be harsh... I tried this today at Selfridges. Yes, it has a rather non-descript cherry opening but it rapidly veers into a oud maracuja x erba pura vibe. I really don't understand why Nishane is getting into this kind of releases. The silver lining is that if you are a fan of the brand, you don't need to despair. In my opinion, these exclusives are just not worth it. Get a sample if you can, and judge yourself.

The best opening that I have experienced of a fragrance in a very long time. The sweet, sour cherry is addicting. Then it settles down and smells citrusy and sweet at the same time. The oud touch is too subtle to notice, almost non-existent in my opinion. Also, someone asked if I was wearing "Symphony by Louis Vuittion" when I was testing this. So they might have similarities, I am not sure. 7.5/10 To me, this one and its sister release smell identical in dry down and they both like something from Montale/Mancera. I expect more from Nishane.

Goodness gracious me. That bottle is so cute and will look good sat next to its cousins! But first, am off to Selfridges for a smell test.

Very interesting notes. Stupidly expensive as all Nishane fragrances are, but I'm excited to get my hands on a sample of this
