Rosa Turca

I appreciate this fragrance for its uniqueness. The Rose is definitely the Star in this fragrance. To me this not a jammy rose nor is it a fresh rose, its somewhere in between keeping this rose real, fresh yet warm. For me this is love , I have never smelled any other rose perfume that is as unique and lovely as this one is on my skin.

Reminds me a of Joy with that big jasmine and rose. The jasmine is so heady and then to add ylang-ylang witch can have a jasmine/banana effect anyway. There is a soapy/waxy note too. I like this but will not buy a bottle because I already have a couple bottles of Joy. 8/10

Soliflore roses with a notable ylang sweetness, paired with some lightly indolic jasmine to provide a white floral balance. Very pretty, perfect for warm weather. My sample is projecting very strongly off my skin and it's been a few hours. Definitely a long-lasting scent.

I've had this on my skin for just a little while, but enough to dry down, and I'm already wishing I hadn't sprayed it on. Don't get me wrong; it's not a scrubber, it's a well done musky floral, but I feel kind of annoyed, a bit like being in a bad mood and not knowing why. It's too big, loud, sharp and soapy for my nose, and it's wearing me. Imagine being locked in a room with a 1960s Julie Andrews singing high Cs for an hour. At first you'd admire her ability but after a while you'd want to escape. Wouldn't you?

This is a scrubber to me, the indole here is very strong so that to me it stinks, badly (as feces). The only thing I have ever smelled more horrible (or close to it) is Etat Libre d'Orange Secretions Magnifiques, but it's getting close. I'm afraid to get near to this perfume, sorry.
