Tuberóza X

After falling in love with the original Tuberoza, I didn’t hesitate to buy this one when I found it at an unbeatable price on a local perfume site. I had zero concerns buying this blind - it’s Dominique Ropion doing tuberose, after all! And I do love it - it has the original pure tuberose scent I fell in love with in Tuberoza, but with an added powdery element that makes this feel just a little more “grown up”, in this very comforting and maternal way. It’s beautiful!! That being said, this performs rather quietly on my skin. Tuberose is one of my favorite notes but it rarely projects much on me - I’d hoped for more beast mode performance here but the softer wear makes this work appropriate and one I can wear easily and often, so I can accept it even though it’s so pretty I want to turn the dial up! All in all, I’m very happy with with this version, but it hasn’t stopped me from also wanting the original version 😅 Gimme ALLLL the tuberose 🙌 💞 **I just want to update a little to add that this has super impressive longevity!!! While it remains rather 'quiet' on me, it LASTS and LASTS -- I was catching beautiful whiffs of this many hours after applying, which I am over the moon about because this is gorgeous! I have to also say, this one is becoming a deep love for me. I LIKED it a lot at first, but it's quickly rising the ranks to become one of my top perfumes. And for a tuberose it's really easy to wear!! Swoooooning with delight .....🫶😌🥰🙌

This is perhaps the most elegant and soft tuberose I've ever smelled. Most tuberose perfumes have a plastic or vegetable smell, but this one is different. At first, I picked the floral notes strongly, then the fragrance continued with a soft creamy transition. Even though I am not a floral fragrance person, this perfume fascinated me. It's both very feminine and innocent, like baby skin. I'm going to buy a full bottle, I love it so much.... Dominique Ropion created this fragrance, I realised later when I studied the details. Thank you, master. Edit: 2025-09-12 I grabbed a bottle soon after this and I’ve been loving it; using it for almost 10 months. Just adding a comparison update to the end of my review now. OG vs X: • The OG is fantastic, but there are similar scents on the market; even if none are better. • X reads more citrusy and has a more make-up/powdery vibe than the OG. • X is denser and a touch bolder; I’d even say slightly more long-lasting than the OG (X = eternal). • The OG feels more delicate and greener. • X is like a more “divine” elevated version of something already beautiful. • The tuberose in the OG smells more natural. • Both are versatile and four-season friendly; if I had to split them, I’d say OG = spring/summer, X = autumn/winter. • Both give off a luxurious, lotiony aura. I just had the pleasure of trying this fragrance out. I do love Tuberose and white florals and this fragrance is no exception. I really really enjoyed this. The opening is a nice delicate tuberose note accompanied by Ylang-Ylang and amber. It's soft and floral, bright and easy to wear. It's not a strong fragrance by any means, which is okay, but it's done really well, blended really well. I like that this fragrance has two phases to it, as I'm typing this review, I'm maybe 4-5 hours into the dry down, and I'm getting a beautiful powdery and musky nuance to the fragrance that bounces in and out. It's so addictive, it really has you craving more. It's not overly Lipsticky, however, the violet and lipstick note, mixed with a creamy sandalwood that remains light really morphs this fragrance into a transformative experience. As a male, I could easily wear this day in and day out. To me I feel like this does lean more feminine, but I'd say 60% Fem, 40% male. If you're open to white florals, than the above won't matter, you just wear what you love. I'd give this a solid 4.3 out of 5. This will be easy to go through a whole bottle. Finally I got my hands on it, and I am here to leave just a first impression. Wow! This smells to me like immaculate white flowers, like angels wing, like the cosmic aether of paradise. It's so pure and louminous, creamy and clean, yet it is sensual and full bodied. This isn't at all a classic tuberose (think of Fracas) or a modern bubblegum tuberose (My Way), or a dark one (Lutens, Cavagna), nor a tropical one (Marfa, Tuberose 2 Virginale), this stands in a new category of its own for me. I think I finally found a true diaphanous, virginal tuberose. I was attracted to it because of the lipstick note, but it goes so much beyond that. The bouquet of white flowers is beautifully complemented by a creamy and pasty ylang, the violet is very delicate and supremely blended with the white flowers. And the dry down is one of the most creamy, velvety and second skin like marriage of woody, musky and ambery notes, it has a creaminess and a cocoon like effect (they really nailed that velvet note/accord). I will surely review it in lenght after a few weeks of use, it deserves all the attention.

To me, this smells like heaven and I have a full bottle on order having tried a sample first. It does lean towards Narcotic V which I also enjoy - however this is greener and a tiny bit fresher. It’s beautifully blended and the violet and citrus combined take this greener and fresher without it being sharp in the same way that the sandalwood and musk make this creamy and comfortable in the dry down without it becoming cloying. The lipstick is there (I’ve never been a fan of it as a perfume note) but it is present to give momentum to the star attraction, the actual tuberose as it transitions from the initial fresh opening to the dry down. It’s gorgeous.

I'm totally inlove 💜💜💜💜💋🪻💄 It’s for someone with a bold personality who isn’t afraid to embrace florals in a daring and contemporary way. It’s not for the faint of heart, but for those who appreciate strong, sophisticated fragrances. This fragrance shines best in cooler seasons, particularly fall and winter, where its richness can be fully appreciated. The way it transitions from fresh florals to an earthy, woody finish is what I find most intriguing. Perfect for those who like strong floral perfumes with an edge. If you're looking for long-lasting fragrances with layers of scent that last, this is definitely worth checking out.🪻🌹💄

STUNNING white floral. Its so high quality and PURE smelling tuberose. Bring me back to my childhood when my neighbors had a bush of this flower and I used to smell this flowers when visiting. Its so beautiful and decadent. Performance is great. It smells like a well put together delicate wife or mom. Higher quality smelling than Mancera Velvet Vanilla. Never tried the original Tuberoza so far but this X version is 10/10. I love it.

I do love this and have to be careful not to overspray because I love it so much! I don't get the lipstick and velvet notes but I do get creamy tuberose and agree that it is very feminine. It lasts a good while on me and projects nicely. I'm considering a backup bottle. I have never sampled the OG Tuberoza but I think I would prefer the creaminess of this over the green notes. To me, this is better than Narcotic V or Do Son.

Tuberoza X is an airy, light, refreshing, invigorating, uplifting, velvety, comforting, warm, sensual, and alluring fragrance. It's bold and captivating, high-quality. The tuberose note is natural, white, with the lipstick note complementing the fragrance beautifully without overpowering any of the other notes. Not for the faint of heart, it's bold and VERY long-lasting. Love at first sniff

I own both Tuberoza X and Tuberoza (I love the note!). I do love both of these bottles equally but they do smell a little different from one another. My daughter and I both wear these scents, and she prefers the Tuberoza OG while I prefer the X. I recommend sampling both if you can, side by side, because you probably don't need both. If you can find them at a discount, even better!

It's so nice... I got the lab sample and it is very nice. Heavily feminine leaning tho so be aware.

The stuffs of dreams!!! Need asap!!!!

The violet is the star, delicious combined with a sweet green tuberose, and sandalwood. Those three are the loudest notes and this smells very similar to the original except for the addition of violet which really takes it over the top. What an awesome combination. Not getting very much lipstick / powder but there is a perfumey/vintage vibe to this that doesn’t smell dated or old. The tropical energy of the ylang, tuberose and sandalwood prevents it from going in that direction. And I am not a fan of ylang but here it is subtle and blends perfectly with the violet. The more I wear this it reminds me of a cross between TF Violet Blonde and a classic creamy old school tuberose like Red Door I find that the violet makes this more feminine but I could totally see this working great on a man as well. l do very much prefer this to the original blend. Careful with the sprays this is more intense than it seems.

This is a beautiful tuberose. Upon spray, it does feel a bit greener than the regular one. But it still retains the DNA of the original: the lush round tuberose. It feels slightly more complex than the OG. Overall gorgeous. Update: 10/20/2025 I sprayed during cooler weather in the fall, and it is wonderful. Update: 12/28/2025. Unfortunately I am downgrading this to perhaps like. I absolutely love the opening, but drydown is not for me. Perhaps it’s the heaviness slightly sourness I feel, almost like gardenia. It’s bummer because top notes are heavenly.

Narcotic Venus is one of my favorite fragrances, and Tuberoza X can definitely rival its greatness. They are very similar; however, Tuberoza X gives off fishy and metallic nuances at times- something that doesn’t happen with Narcotic Venus, at least on my skin. Narcotic Venus, even though it can hint at metallic facets occasionally, doesn’t shift in that direction, nor do I perceive it often. Tuberoza X is long-lasting, but Narcotic Venus feels almost eternal. I still love and appreciate this creation!

If you're a fan of white flowers and mostly and tuberose, it's a must try. It's 'clean', it's pure, it's strong without choking your breath or causing headaches and it's original. No need of additional notes to make it more interesting or sweet. Compared to it's 'siblings' like Tubereuse Nue from Tom Ford, Quatro Pizzi from Xerjoff or any other "niche" tuberose based creation, Tuberoza X got me for it's purity. Sometimes a few words are more than enough. A strong like.

The dry down was enormous. Blend on my skin very well. At first, it was just creamy bright tuberose but hours after, it was so beautiful, velvety and seducting.

This might be the best floral fragrance I smelled so far.

I'm nearing the end of a recent tuberose focused journey seeking a tuberose centered perfume that works for me. I've probably sampled and/or purchased about four dozen tuberose fragrances. I waited until the end to try Nishane "Tuberoza," Nishane "Tuberoza X," Profumum Roma "Tagete," and Daniel Jozier "Golden Tuberose." My tuberose "gold standards" so far have been Amouage "Love Tuberose," Rogue Perfumery "Tuberose & Moss," and Nasomatto "Narcotic V." Nishane Tuberoza X is nice enough. However, out of the bunch, original Nishane Tuberoza is a love! Tuberoza X is a straight-forward, uncomplicated, tuberose fragrance that opens with a dense cloud of creamy ylang-ylang. This ylang-ylang cloud quickly lifts and powdery, dusty, dry notes emerge (violet, lipstick, etc) along with muted tuberose. The tuberose in Nishane Original Tuberoza is stronger, more prominent, more defined. The tuberose in Tuberoza X feels dull and muted. I get the "velvet" feeling because the fragrance is smooth and unfolds like a warm blanket. But to my nose, the tuberose feels hidden and shrouded. IMHO, the additional floral accords in Original Tuberoza add interest and depth to that fragrance, subtle but lovely nuances. I detect nothing akin to those nuances in Tuberoza X. Tuberose X opens, lands and wears with accompanying notes that almost bury the tuberose versus enhance its fragrance. For my tastes, the tuberose in Tuberoza X is a bit too subtle. I'm really leaning towards adding a 100ml bottle of original Tuberoza to my small perfume collection!

Curious about the velvet note. Was hoping for leather. But this sounds intriguing.

The sweetness of the opening on this one is dialed up and juicier from Tuberoza, as well the ylang ylang is slightly indolic with a bit of burnt rubber. Possibly a mix with the added 'lipstick' note. Overall a relatively linear fragrance that is floral and powdery. The smell is stronger and projects well compared to the initial, but the changes here are largely small and when you get close.

I didn't like this. To me this is a brutalist perfume, with syntetic notes assaulting you unrelentlessly and tiring you. Especially the base amberwood is horrible.

For me, this is the ultimate clean girl scent - not the modern aldehydic, soapy kind of clean. I had been looking for this type of fragrance, so I ordered samples of Blanche, Acne Studios by Frederic Malle, Another 13, and a few other fragrances I simply hadn’t smelled before. I was actually quite disappointed by both Blanche and Acne Studios.. they just weren’t what I was looking for. These “clean” fragrances weren’t really for me - some smelled like dish soap, while others disappeared from my skin within five minutes. And then, completely unexpectedly, I found THE scent - Tuberoza X. It’s so elegant and beautifully blended. Very understated, yet it still has a noticeable presence. I don’t really get any lipstick note from it, which is actually a good thing for me. It leans more feminine than masculine and it could easily be worn year-round, in pretty much any weather or setting. An absolutely wonderful signature scent!

It's honestly great. Almost love at first sniff before even first sniff. I was at a fragrance boutique and took the cap off this bottle, immediately got hit by the florals and felt instantly drawn to this. Something both extremely familiar and attractive. Later on I realized how similar the dry down is to that little trees new car scent (those car fresheners that are shaped like trees)-this isnt a complete turn off. Ultimately, this is instantly attractive and I find it more than worth its price at discounters.

This. Is. So. Strong. Wow. It stayed on strong even after a shower. I acquired this in a swap and I’m not sure I like it. I took a chance because i usually like tuberose but not sure it’s the type of tuberose I like (do son, love tuberose, moonwake tuberose, etc). I think it may be the violet or the velvet that gives it a very synthetic feel. But I’d never be able to wear this in public bc it’s just way too strong

I like it but not enough for a FB. It reminds me a lot of narcotic V but X is greener. I already own narcotic V and I think it smells better than X plus it’s one of my most complimented scents. This one is nice but is missing something to make it stand out for me. All in all it’s a nice fragrance just kinda boring. I was hoping to get that velvet note but on my skin it didn’t come through.

I know I wasn't crazy! This is very similar to the new car scent little tree air freshner. I found a review on 3/9/25 that says the same thing. However I purchased to send a gift expecting to be very femenine but I find it unisex. It feels more frutal than floral, it's amazing and unique. No regrets with this blind buy.

One of the better tuberose fragrances I've sensed. The sweetness and fruitness are not overpowering. I think this is very wearable and I would even call it a blind buy. I don't think many people would mind this smell. It is more feminine than Carnal Flower imo.

Generally i hate hate haaate flower dominant frags bc they turn rly quick soap/detergent scents in my skin, but this is the best “i just took a shower” scent. Gives me white flower bouquet vibes in a good way 😍

Tuberoza X, by Nishane, smells like old school lipstick, was, ylang-ylang and tuberose. It is a unique, cool and innovative fragrance. The lipstick smells blends very well with the nectar in the flowers.

Aah from one of my favourite perfumers: Dominique Ropion. 🔥 The notes look fantastic and very feminine, and it's marketed for women and men? Question is, how many men can actually wear this comfortably?

I cannot get over how much Tuberoza smells like Highgrove bouquet by Penhalligon. Lovely white florals even though not listed cannot help but get some linden.

This smells like a sexy, confident woman in her prime, who has her shit together. Fresh but still sexy behind closed doors.

I bought this a few days ago. It’s too expensive and doesn't project too well, but it smells gorgeous. I don’t regret it!

They misspelled "Warszawa" on the label.
