Tuberoza

I am baffled that some of the reviewers complain that this perfume smells "overwhelmingly white floral and nauseating tuberose". This perfume literally is called TUBEROZA and it's a white floral scent. Lol?! With that said, I went to Maastricht and discovered a small niche perfume store. Initially I wanted to try another perfume, but as a tuberose lover I asked if there was something with that said floral. Naturally she brought me Nishane Tuberoza. The first spray has taken me aback. It was kinda indolic at first and she said. That can happen and I should try it on my skin. She did a spritz on my wrist and after like 30 seconds, I got a wonderful tuberose - intertwined with jasmine and orange blossom. Some sweet citrus accents were noticeable but dissipated quickly. I left the store for the scent to evolve throughout the day and it did. Had to sniff my wrist every few seconds. The lingering scent was also addictive as narcotic. I love white Florals and this is so well made. Projection is strong and the Sillage definitely noticeable. Room Filling. My friends were almost incapacitated. 🥲 Back home I ordered it online for 100€ per 50ml. Still steep, but bearable. I may update how this scent works in my hospital. My patients usually are the best and most honest reviewers.

A beautiful, sweet tuberose, almost fruity to my nose. It has excellent projection and longevity, so if you happen to love a clean tuberose with elements of fruitiness, I do recommend you try it. It's not even close to groundbreaking, but sometimes quality is enough, and Tuberoza has that going for it. I'm torn about purchasing a full bottle though, because to me it is very similar to Narcotic V by Nasomatto, which I already own. I will try them side by side before I make a decision, though I'm already sure that this has greater longevity and presence than NV. I did spot a small travel size bottle, and depending upon how it performs against NV, I'll probably purchase it. As a matter of fact, I think I may just do so anyway! EDIT - Late night shopping is always frought with danger. I pulled the trigger and purchased. To my dear Fragrantica friend who seems to know my tastes better than I do, I can only say thank you, even though I inevitably end up purchasing so many of the decants you send me!! 😉 EDIT - go lightly when it comes to application. Two spritzes are more than enough. I forgot that and just did my usual tendency to overspray. I'm pretty sure that my entire home now smells like Tuberoza, which isn't a bad thing, but is definitely a waste of money!

I own Tuberoza X, and I’ve been sampling this one for quite a while. First off: it’s lovely; let me say that upfront. A clean, creamy, luxurious, lotiony, innocent tuberose. The “chewy/gummy” aspect is relatively low. Sweetness level is ideal. It smells natural and pillowy-soft, easily outclassing many tuberose alternatives. I love the brand for its ultra-high quality, and this lasts a long time on skin; excellent longevity. Blended with other white florals, it feels ethereal and creamy. Wonderful. Now, to compare OG vs X: • The OG is fantastic, but there are similar scents on the market; even if none are better. • X reads more citrusy and has a more make-up/powdery vibe than the OG. • X is denser and a touch bolder; I’d even say slightly more long-lasting than the OG (X = eternal). • The OG feels more delicate and greener. • X is like a more “divine” elevated version of something already beautiful. • The tuberose in the OG smells more natural. • Both are versatile and four-season friendly; if I had to split them, I’d say OG = spring/summer, X = autumn/winter. • Both give off a luxurious, lotiony aura. This is the second time I have tried on or tested this fragrance. Oh how I am impressed! It is very hot outside. My body is very warm. This fragrance has come to life! A very vibrant White flower Bomb. Very sexy. What a difference between tonight and the day before. That is why it is so important to try on a fragrance multiple times. This is really blowing my mind. The tuberose flower really comes to life here. Yes you can smell the jasmine and yes you can smell the gardenia. But these are supporting actors. It's hard to explain. This particular fragrance is very feminine. It's very innocent and pure. The master perfumer I'm sure did not I want anything artificial to be picked up on. There is no citrus or anything else that could drift it in another direction. It has been about 15 minutes. I will come back if anything changes. It is hard for me to find a white floral fragrance that I really enjoy and do not get sick of. This is a wonderful perfume. I am really impressed with this fragrance house.

I wear this as a guy and find it absolutely beautiful - in fact I’m 99% sure I’ll never find another floral that moves me the way this does. It’s so addictive to the point where I sneak a smell of it from the bottle virtually every day, somehow finding it even more intoxicating each time. It carries such an effortless grace and elegance immediately picturesque of a blooming flower garden, boasting gorgeous white florals under the sun, still dewy and bright. First time I wore it was on a night out - for the entire uber ride the scent bounced off my skin and offered me gentle whiffs, completely cocooning me in the most beautiful, airy orange blossom and heady tuberose combination I’ve met so far, clearly projecting nicely. I was told I smell nice. Days if not weeks later I could still smell faint traces of it on my jacket. £195 for a 50ml seems steep but I do not regret it at all. Such luxurious presentation and an even more pleasing scent. If you’re a floral addict like me, check this out.

Oh noes, another I want! What a splendid, elegant floral. In the style of Carnal Flower but less fleshy, less tuberose and more modern. I feel vetiver and marigolds but they are gardenia and artemisia and ylang ylang dominated. I was afraid it will be too strong for June but completely not. It is spring and summer perfect and will be also superb for autumn. It feels natural so it does not tire my senses. The marigolds and artemisia add so much space to the white and yellow florals. I feel it has a heavier sillage than the norm, but I am the only one noticing it so far. I do not like the price. Otherwise I would buy it on the spot. I would pay as much for a 100ml. With time it turns more jasmine and starts to be near identucal to Million Gold Pure Jasmine by Rabanne. Next day drydown is clearly a jasmine-musk-fresh but a skin-scent. It is a good scent, but not exceptional or worth 100ml Dior or Chanel for its 50ml. It is beautiful and competent but Frederic Malle is more artisanal.

This is very pretty but absolutely not worth the price point. Personally I would stick do Diptyque's Do Son or Givenchy Amarige or Carnal Flower which is similarly priced but better. They are having a laugh with this price I'm sorry. Nothing ground breaking. Perhaps it's less expensive in Europe but at almost $400 AUD (around $200 USD) for a 50ml for what is essentially a very generic tuberose forward, white and yellow floral? Don't get me wrong, I like it very much and it is very nice. It is very 90s and is walking a very fine line towards mature/dated. It is perhaps a fraction more modern than Amarige but barely. Slightly bubble gummy but less so than L'interdit. Niche perfumery is laughing all the way to the bank with their profit margins, and the more they do it the harsher critics should be in my opinion. This is in no way more unique or higher quality than very similar designer options Gucci Bloom or Amarige but is 2 to 3x the price.

I'm nearing the end of a recent tuberose focused journey to find a tuberose centered perfume that works for me. I've sampled and/or purchased about four dozen tuberose fragrances. Oh YES! Nishane Tuberoza!! THIS has immediately moved to my NUMBER ONE tuberose spot! Nishane Tuberoza is a complete & total love! Tuberoza is a linear tuberose fragrance that opens with a fleeting burst of citrus & artemisia. The perfume unfolds as a straightforward, tuberose-centric fragrance with slightly green, slightly bitter and minimally indolic notes. Tuberoza is not a fleshy, chewy, heavy, or thick tuberose fragrance. Settles nicely onto skin. The emergence of jasmine, marigold and gardenia add just enough nuance to keep the perfume interesting. The base consists of divine amber, musk and sandalwood. Perfectly balanced, exquisitely blended! Long-lasting!! I love it! Purchased a new 1.7ml bottle (extrait).

I’m surprised how much I enjoy this! I’ve been looking for a good tuberose perfume... I own Rouge Malachite Armani Prive, which I blind bought based off the hype and was thoroughly disappointed. I already am a fan of Hundred Silent Ways, and I’ve also enjoyed Love Tuberose Amouage. Of these fragrances, Tuberoza feels to be the freshest take. I wouldn’t describe this perfume as a freshie, but it does feel less dense and heavy to me. Which, I’d expect myself to go for the most THICK/creamy/buttery, which to my node is Love Tuberose, but there’s something about this fragrance that is just... truly stunning! It’s so pretty and rich without making me feel sick. It’s beautiful, I love it. This fragrance deserves more hype! Bar far my preference over Rouge Malachite, and the others I’ve sampled!

This perfume reminds me of moon carnival. A lovely yellow floral with a warm mix of amber , tuberose and gardenia! I wouldn’t say it is fresh but a bit mature and cozy. I love it on my skin and it lasts for at least 5 hours ♥️ Update: I smelled and fall in love with it while being in Vienna , i bought it as soon as i landed home (Athens) . When i received it the scent was not the same. Not bad at all but not the same. When i first smelled it , it was soft floral and very delicate while with the Athenean heat it turns sharper and definately more spicy. I think with the heat it turns more of a masculine scent while with the colder weather more feminine and soft. The sillage and longevity doesnt change but the notes project differently.

Wow I love this scent! Tried this as a potential successor to Carthusia Tuberosa. Both are Tuberose perfumes, but they were actually quite different. This opens with a white, fleshy, fresh and creamy tuberose. You can even feel the greenness of the stems, probably because of mugwort. I also feel a little fruity citrus. A tuberose that is strong and confident without excess. As it dries down, musk, vetiver and sandalwood emerge, giving the pure white flowers an amber nuance. The process by which the white flowers gradually turn amber is also beautiful. I would probably make this my daily perfume. I'd like to, but I'm hesitant because of the price. I envy people who can buy Nishane at a discounted price.

The opening of Tuberoza blows my mind, it is fabulous. That fruity, blindingly white&yellow tuberose at the top is utter perfection, strong and bright, completely delightful. Around the 10 minute mark, on my skin, a beastly musk sets in and boy, does it last. It is not ruining the fragrance but it is confusing and too heavy. Luckily, after that Bowser musk falls asleep, magic happens: sandalwood and amber delicately take in the flower garden and, if I close my eyes, it smells like a stroll on an early summer morning in the old city part of Istanbul, when the air is just starting to warm up and conveys scents of sweets, incense, roasted chestnuts and sea breeze. Just beautiful.

I have an on again, off again relationship with tuberose. When I sprayed this on paper the first time after blind buying it, I thought "oh no this is just like Michael Kors". I didn't like that one and gave it to my daughter long ago. However yesterday was a warm spring day and I decided to give it a try on skin. The opening has that banana type tuberose like Michael Kors but once this dried down it lost the banana and was just an amazingly addictive, beautiful and bright white floral. I def get tuberose for the life of the fragrance but it's on top of some really bright notes and there is also depth there. This is just beautiful and happy! Also this performs wonderfully!!

Tuberose lovers this is a must have, don't like tuberose then stay away because this is a love story featuring tuberose. The opening is powerful, the sillage is amazing, people going to know you have arrived. You only need a couple of sprays as this is extrait. One of my favourite perfumes is Givenchy Amarige this does have a resemblance of it but is different and both deserve a place in my collection. Ultra feminine in my opinion although whatever your gender you can rock whatever you like. Absolutely beast mode, a great banger from Nishane, will definitely buy more from this brand.

A beautiful, luminous, bright and lush tuberose. I love it. Dries down to a "dry", musky tuberose; almost powdery and woody on my skin in the base notes. ETERNAL on clothes, and lasts a full day (easy) on my skin. Very very strong projection. Feminine to me, but who says a man can't wear it? Lol. Sexy without being too suggestive. Also, an aside - this is the only perfume in my collection that got me a full set of compliments from my family (who usually hate the perfumes I choose).

A gorgeous absolutely amazing scent! Every time I wear it it’s beauty almost makes me cry! It is pure joy! A gourmand tuberoze fresh and warm in the same time, loud, airy. It smells hyper expensive and it is expensive but it comes in extrait de parfum and the performances are outstanding! It stays on skin I guess 12 hours+ the sillage/projection is very strong I guess probably for 4 hours. Amazing scent! Good job Nishane! Scent 10/10 Longevity 10/10 Sillage 9/10

This is such a unique & relaxing take on a tuberose/white floral fragrance! I love Tuberoza. She's on the aromatic side. So impeccably smooth and somewhat creamy. I don't get the comparison to Moon Carnival at all. Moon Carnival is painfully sweet to me, Tuberoza isn't sweet at all. There's really something kind of spa-like to her which isn't too common with white floral fragrances. If you enjoy white florals & tuberose you need to add this to your collection!

Lovely! I've been wanting to try this one for ages, since Notino has samples out-of-stock. Tuberosa is pretty much a tuberose/gardenia centered scent supported by some other undistinguishable flowers, orange and musk. To my taste, there is ZERO vintage feeling (which I usualy don't like). Tuberoza is in line with Narcotic V style - light and airy, having a light pink color profile. I am definitely putting this on my "want it" list.

Well as the name suggests, this is very tuberose forward. It's super floral, and not much else. If you like this kind of scent, this will be an insane love for you. I really like it, but I prefer other offerings from the house. Not sure why so many people think this is feminine, it pretty much smells like 80% tuberose. As for performance, this is very good. Projects a lot and lasts forever.

I detect a hint of cold in this perfume. It is a tuberose that has been in the cold air and is finally getting to a warm place. Quite polite, quite bright, noticeable perfume. For me, it's a perfume to make me feel elegant, with high heels and red lipstick. Femininity at its best, in its most dignified, intellectual form. Not vulgar, just stylish and aristocratic.

I had been searching high and low for a fragrance that came close to the original Michael Kors that is now discontinued, and as soon as I smelled this one, I knew it was it. The initial smell is strong on the tuberose and musky side, but as it wears on to the next day, it lends itself to a more subtle jasmine smell. This is a great evening, wintery, or fall scent.

Amazing tuberose. A bit sweet, but not too much, very bright, but not too bright. Really rich scent. An excellent perfume with great performance. Although it is "nothing more" but another tuberose scent, I still find it unique and I think it has some life of its own, which I love with any perfume. But this one is really beautiful from the start till the end.

Indeed this is very similar to NV, but I decided to buy this one too, because I need more of this beautiful scent. Lovely juicy tuberose, to me its worth having two similar bottles. The appearence of the amber after few hours is what differs NV and Tuberóza. Love both. The packaging is luxurious, the metal cap heavy af and the red bottle is gorgeous.

If you are a tuberose lover, you should try this one. It's a soft, modern tuberose heaven. It opens with a nice orange-tuberose harmony. In an hour gardenia, musk and sandalwood take the stage with tuberose. The drydown is creamy,very smooth and definitely gorgeous. The sillage is huge and the longevity is at least 10 hours.

Wow. Just one of the best crafted florals. It is not something distinct from many fragrances already in the market, but you can certainly smell that it is a high quality perfume with great base materials. The opening is a literal explosion of yellow and white florals, and then it dries down in tuberose, amber and musk. 10/10

I never thought I’d give a tuberose fragrance a five-star rating. It starts with a dewy blend of tuberose and jasmine, with a hint of indole. Even though I’m not a fan of white florals, I don’t find it unpleasant. The dry-down turns into a heavily powdery yet irresistibly alluring scent.

Let’s start with the fact that I am a rose and tuberose lover. This is pure magic. And although spring time has yet to hit the east coast yet I can see this being AMAZING in nice weather. I sprayed about 12 hours ago and I can still smell this. This was a compliment getter as well.

A tender tuberose. Creamy, soft, a tad sweet. Very simple yet incredibly effective. Suited for any occasion really, smells quite expensive, confident and a little bit flirty. You get whiffs of it every now and then when wearing it and it hits all the right spots. 10/10

I get more tuberose, ylang ylang and gardenia. I smells so good and it lasts 12+ hours, It wears well for fall and it would be great for early spring too. As it dries down a bit I notice more of the marigold peeking in and out. I love this perfume !

This is gods gift. I have quite a plethora of white florals (specifically tuberose) and ill tell you what, this is the most elegant, sophisticated, gorgeous, lovely white floral you'll find out their! So well blended and so smooth all throughout.

I think it’s pretty. It’s a lot like “My Way” I have the hair and body oil version. White floral- Tuberose. I do get a little dry straw deep in the background that I like. I do wish it was more “dry” something to take the edge off the florals.

Beautiful bubblegum-y tuberose with a sweeter vanilla base and slightly green undertones. It’s very rich (lots of different floral notes) but also very balanced. Lovely (even though it’s a bit too heavy for me to wear). My ig: scent.guide

I really enjoy tuberose, gardenia, and ylang ylang and this is so pretty. Very straight forward & long lasting. On skin I don’t get anything dirty. It is like the flowers just bloomed before they start getting too much fun.

@Solwashere You should check competitive pricing at the various reputable online retailers. There are 3 currently selling the 50ml bottle of Tuberoza extrait for around $108 US shipped (which is around £86, not £195.)

Nishane quality, linear but balanced white floral and tuberose. Genuinely unisex if you're a confident guy. Not a challenging or wow offering, but truly great all the same, and for me a little nostalgic.

Smells nearly identical to Profumum Roma's Tagete, which I already own and love. It's beautiful though. If I didn't already own that one, I'd want a full bottle of this.

This is very similar to Narcotic V However, it is a bit more aromatic and less fruity It's like a daytime fragrance, meanwhile Narcotic V is more for nighttime

A holy grail option for white floral lovers. It is my signature scent. This perfume makes my heart sing and I feel gorgeous wearing it.

One of my favourite scents!!!!

I can smell the ylang ylang, orange blossom and orange in the stop notes. I had an initial blast of fruity banana and spicy yellow floral nuances from the ylang ylang and the orange blossom and orange gave it even more of a fruity top note that was also fairly citrusy. The citrusy elements dissapear after about 20 minutes on my skin, leaving the ylang ylang to permeate the whole of this perfume's development. I can then smell the tuberose, jasmine and marigold in the heart notes in order of intensity. These notes are the most prominent in this perfume for me. I can't really smell the gardenia, though. Maybe the gardenia has added a subtle creaminess to this perfume? The marigold note I probably could have done without, since it made this perfume slightly too spicy, herbal and aromatic for my tastes. It smells better than the pepper note in Honour by Amouage, though. I can lastly smell the vetiver most in the base, followed by the sandalwood and musk in that order. Again like in the heart notes, there is a note in the base notes I can't really smell: and that would be amber. The woody and slightly musky and aromatic base this perfume has does not overwhelm the other notes, but it is still decipherable to my nose here. It becomes almost moderately woody towards the end, though. This perfume as you would have guessed by now smells most similar to Honour by Amouage to me, but this perfume is less citrusy, more aromatic and more woody to me. It also doesn't make me sneeze like Honour. Honour I was just okay with, but I like this scent. This perfume is certainly very feminine and I can see it being worn at a number of occasions, both during the day and during the evening. I say this because of the energizing citrus and banana-type notes at the top and the fact that tuberose is more fragrant at night, as evidenced by the blooms of this beautiful flower in my garden. I wouldn't reccomend this perfume for only one place though: the office. You could wear it anywhere else, but the sillage on this perfume is pretty big and you could get in trouble for wearing this to work. The longevity is pretty big too, with it lasting up to 10 1⁄2 to 11 hours on my skin. I would almost buy it, if it weren't for the marigold note in this perfume. All in all, a 7/10 for me for a fairly nice but not outstanding white and yellow floral scent that has a kick from its woody, aromatic and slightly spicy notes. (The bottle is gorgeous, simple and chic, though. Very classy.)

Tuberóza does what it says on the tin - it is a tuberose-dominant scent. It is nothing groundbreaking, but is a good-quality example of the genre. I love white florals, but Tuberóza doesn't bring anything new to the table. Frédéric Malle Carnal Flower is the gold standard of this genre, and there are some (more affordable) honourable mentions (Estée Lauder Tuberose Gardenia and perhaps Gucci Bloom). This scent has facets of these and more, and, while decent in its own right, it is underwhelming and still quite expensive. The white florals remain the focal point throughout, but their intensity diminishes quickly Tuberóza is tuberose-dominant from initial spray. Bold, heady and lush, it is at its sweetest at the opening stage. The ylang ylang adds a tropical sweetness to the white floral accord, and orange blossom rounds it out. As it develops, it becomes less sweet and more animalic - the carnal side of the tuberose takes centre stage for a time. There is a musky undertone that enhances this, paving the way to the amber base. Marigold adds a green, herbal edge. As it develops further, it becomes woody and increasingly musky. The florals become more muted while lingering, and it becomes sweetly musky as it fades. Sillage is strong and longevity is long-lasting. It is a transeasonal and feminine-leaning, versatile by its nature. Tuberóza is good-quality and perfectly likeable for fans of white florals, but ultimately redundant. I have no need for a full bottle of this while I have the aforementioned Carnal Flower and Tuberose Gardenia. A white floral that is classic in style, but unoriginal and far from definitive. Not to mention expensive. 3.5/5.

I bought a sample, and I love it. Despite the name, it's not really a soliflore, although the tuberose is certainly front and center. But I also pick up on gardenia, ylang-ylang, and jasmine, as well as the green notes and the amber, which makes it wear more like a floriental of yore (in my universe that is a compliment, and I brook no ageist implications). Sometimes I get a faint whiff of marigold, which I adore, and I am reminded of Estee Lauder Beautiful, in its finest formulation. I know this is a niche fragrance and rather exclusive, but I think it is an easy and elegant choice, one that is unlikely to be polarizing. Update: A couple of hours later, I'm wavering between a Love and a Like. There's something about the base that isn't working for me. I'm getting a bit too much of the amber and not enough of the sandalwood. There is something sour-woody, not quite like akigalawood or oud or anything overtly barnyard, but neither is it entirely fresh. I could see someone even interpreting it as a masculine fragrance once it has warmed up on the skin, which seems ludicrous when I think of the opening. I do like this fragrance, but I want to amend my comment about how it is unlikely to be polarizing, because the drydown changed my mind. In fact, I think my mind is still changing. The good news is that I no longer feel tempted to buy a full bottle. This tiny vial probably contains at least another couple of wears.

Tuberoza reminds me of those Japanese monster movies I loved to watch as a kid. The tuberose comes barreling in, stomping like Godzilla, on the verge of taking over the whole town. Just when I think I am going to fall in love with this big lug of a monster, ISO, or some other chemical that smells like Isoprol alcohol, comes in and slays the beast, and all I am left with is nothing but a chemical assault to my senses. Why, oh, why, do perfumers continue to put this crap in their compositions? Edit 7/29 - I have a bottle of this I received as a bd gift from my brother. The first time I tried it I used my normal 3 sprays. That is way too much for this scent, which is an extrait. One spray, strategically placed, as I wore it today at the nape of my neck, was wonderful, and I could no longer smell that ISO smell as much anymore. Still there, just not as strong as the first time I wore it. I'm amazed by how much this smells like Narcotic Venus. Some say similar, but it is almost identical to me, except I think NV is nicer simply because it doesn't have any chemical smell on me. But this blows NV out of the water as far as silage and longevity are concerned. That's why it is a must to go easy with this scent, not only because it will come across as offensively strong, but also because it will be chemically harsh too.

No surprises. You get what you pay for... This is a white flower perfume. No more no less. It has some sweet nuances but not overly sweet or cloying. It's kind of fruity, but just a perfect touch. This is the only tuberose centered fragrance that I can pull it off with no issues at all. Others make funny things in my skin during the dry-down (Carnal Flower, for example). In fact, it's so beautiful that I use to layer this juice with other perfumes when I want the flowery feeling reinforced. (for example with Nawab of Oudh from Ormonde Jayne...) Very elegant, refined and happy aroma that can be enjoyed in any season (avoid only the hottest days of the year), and to me this is more day than night, but layering this with some amber or oud scents/oils, could also work for a dress-up night out... Performance is great, projection it's just great and does last long hours. Uniqueness: low Scent: 7.5/10 Performance: high Would I buy it: Yes (already in my collection)
