Vjola

It's a bouquet of flowers exploding in close proximity. Most definitely extrait strength. Read very strong! It easily lasts for half the day. Don't for heaven's sake spray the blood orange coloured juice anywhere near your clothes. One quick spritz on my hand and it has surrounded me in a cloud of flowery heavenliness. The violet is strong and has to be as it's competing against the divas tuberose and jasmine. The Lily of the valley, calendula and magnolia seem to be yelling as well. It now gets a bit peppery and perhaps herbally. A bit too peppery for me to feel comfortable. It reminds me of the 1980s heavy hitters. All these flowers to my mind make this a scent leaning a touch to the feminine. It's quite linear on my skin. All the notes yelling at once! Sometimes the tuberose is in the lead and then the jasmine has another go at out doing the other flower divas. I can only really imagine this scent as a one for night wear. A night at the opera. Dressed up to the nines in your best dress and jewellery. A shoulderless, tight fitting long velvet dress plus a sexy wiggle. It's the scent of a diva. Phenomenal longevity and huge sillage in this 20 degree room.

This one is great on my wife! Tommelise (YouTube) was not wrong: a great floral for sure!!!! I think it’s mostly heavenly white flowers but not sure. Update: That white flower part (the main part that projects) is only during the top notes I learned. I tried a bit on myself. I like the smell of white flowers so I was curious to see what would happen. It opens with a unisex-able honeyish set of amazing white flowers, but then an herbal note kicks in (marigold?), and then it switches to a lilac smell (which my wife loves but reminds me of soaps, shampoos, and scented kleenaxes unfortunately), and then it dries to a light feminine vanilla. So only the opening—the heavenly white flowers part—would work for a dude but all of it is great for ladies. For my wife these are still my top favorites: Ajmal Wisal Dhahab, Ajmal Viola, and Rasasi Sharina.

All the big heavy hitting florals—tuberose, lilly of the valley, heliotrope, jasmine, rose—are on stage here, with the back up singers calendula, magnolia and honeysuckle. But the star of the show is violet, and her mic is turned up. A quality vanilla in the base, managing to hold all the competing florals together and adding much needed balance to the composition. Vjola reminds me of a florist shop during the wedding high demand season, and is really beautiful, but too heavy for warm weather. A little goes a long way. Enjoying my decant

Fresh floral opening,powerful hypnotic... violet is not powdery, but almost "fruity". I like the harmony that you can feel in this perfume, there is something mysterious but beautiful and captivating. In the drydown it is fantastic, with the vanilla sweetness that gives the initial flowers, rounding and giving a definitely sweeter aura while remaining a floral/mysterious parfum. Autumn scent. The sillage is enormous (1-2 sprays council) and longevity (12 + h) on me. Beautiful. Sillage: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 Scent: 9/10 Overall: 9./10

Beautiful intense floral. I love the pairing of violet and tuberose. It makes for a heady, indolic and almost intoxicating scent. There is something deliciously alien about this. It is almost like the scent of futuristic flowers after a nuclear apocalypse. It's dense, sweet and almost reminiscent of 80s powerhouse florals like Poison. (Tuberose). I really get an olfactory similarity to Love in Black by Creed, which also has a significant amount of violet in its composition.

Im un LOVE with this perfum. LOVE this Violet and flowers smell which lats the whole day. This a very versatile fragance as well. Perfect for a daily use but nice also for nightout and events.i think It weareable the whole year too. I really really want It!! For me totally unisex scent. This is a beautiful perfume with a dense, vintage feel. I spray one spritz on my neck and one on my wrist; this is enough to last the day. It can be worn during the daytime, but I think it is better suited for evening wear because it is so regal and opulent. The combination of the violet with the other florals is just gorgeous. This perfume just feels so purple to me. I love it.

Beautiful powdery, floral vanilla scent. This definetely gives sophisticated & rich vibe. Smells like old money! . Lasts forever so go easy with the trigger.

Vjola is a lot of violet but it is also a lot of lily. This combination that constantly fights in the fragrance makes its smell (avioletted) more unusual and green. I even notice indole traces. If you are looking for a violet perfume that is very very sweet and that almost reaches the smell of cookie you can be wrong. But if you are looking for a scent of violets that mixes more flowery and garden scents that are a bit indolent and gloomy it could be your cup of tea. It is certainly an imposing fragrance, it is not fleeting and very persistent. You will attract attention because I think it goes its own way and is not as similar to other powdered fragrances. Perfume that lives in the vintage and in the modern, a small work of art that has gone unnoticed ...

This is just... WOW! I loved it before the sprayer was done with its job. A big floral, syrupy sweet. As reviewer rob2b said, it could have come from the Eighties, and actually it does remind me of something I have smelled as a child, but I can't say what exactly. It's mostly candied violet and honeysuckle for me. I could have taken more immortelle, but that just means that it's accessible for people who don't like it. Makes me want to try other perfumes by Nishane.

What a beautiful violet scent. But.. the tuberose here spoils it. What could have been an elegant powdery scent, tuberose makes it tiresome.

Quite the floral arrangement, indeed. On my skin, the Lily-of-the-Valley stands out prominently, next to her sister, Violet. ☆☆☆

A strange bouquet, a complex memory. It has the violet, yes, and the rose, dancing. But there are other pairs, too: marigold and immortelle, yellow and earthy, grounding the composition, giving it vegetational substance. Honeysuckle and heliotrope - sweeter, like drops of syrup, a pinch of vanilla. Lily of the valley, magnolia - watery, soapy. Tuberose, the usual dominator, is tamed, formal. Jasmine comes later, mimicking violet's greenness. Vjola has a somehow vintage feel, and because of its soapy and watery aspects reminds me of soap foam in an antique bathroom. I see also entryways of old houses, freshly cleaned floors with shiny ornamental tiles. Yet the vanillic part - paired with iris, is the one that adds mystery in the picture, some kind of a nocturnal feeling in this love story, a taste of longing, of deep feelings, where flowers are ultimately but symbols and ornaments. The House of Bernarda Alba? It is a highly suggestive fragrance and, by all means, not just a sum of its parts.

I searched high and low for this one because I KNEW I would get the iris and vanilla and violet to come out on me. Unfortunately it’s not a love, I actually don’t like it . Selling my bottle if anyone is interested

a dainty, soft floral violet along with a few other white florals. i was hoping for some bass, some funk and some grit, but i got a safe, predictable floral scent. a little disappointed, i must say...

Excellent fragrance & quality but strictly for women ! 10/10 though

Take the vanilla out and I' ll adore.
