MAGNIFIQUE 💫 Une vanille tellement belle , naturelle , pure , douce mais pas féminine ! Il est totalement mixte Je découvre la maison Nissaba avec ce parfum et j'ai pris une claque ! Ce parfum éteint des références de vanille comme Spiritueuse double vanille de Guerlain ou encore Babycat , c'est un jus d'une extrême qualité et travaillé avec finesse ... Le parfum évolue dans son intensité au niveau des notes c'est à dire qu'au départ le poivre est alimentaire , mais apres quelque minute il devient doux et magnifique Pareille pour la vanille qui va évoluer au fur et à mesure du séchage. C'est un chef-d'œuvre ce parfum Totalement sous côté ! Il n'est pas sous le feux des projecteurs mais si c'était un YSL ou un Guerlain il serait un best seller et connaîtrait un succès certain. Personnellement ca me va , je le garde égoïstement pour moi 🤫

Voyage sur l'île de Madagascar... Vous atterissez directement au plus profond de la jungle ,acceuilli par des effluves d'épices de qualité,une atmosphère chaude et envoûtante vous submerge. Une odeur de vanille plus lointaine vous incites inexorablement à continuer votre expédition au milieu de cette nature luxuriante ,faite de bois de gaïac et de patchouli, pour trouver ce trésor ollfactif que sont les gousses de cette grande ile. Élégant et sophistiqué Dépaysement guaranti, pour l'hiver...

I was looking for a classy vanilla scent for weeks and tried it all from Van Cleef, BDK, Guerlain and by chance passed by the Nissaba stand in Geneva. I got the bottle straight away. It does remind me of Kenzo Elephant, but in a way more contemporary, subtle and elegant version. The vanilla is not too sweet and wooden notes are similar to Serge Lutens. I know nothing about the brand, but I am very happy I found it.

Ce parfum est juste un chef-d’œuvre sous estimé. Aux amoureux de la vanille, je vous conseille de le tester. La maison Nissaba n’est pas bien connue. Mais elle propose des fragrances très intéressantes et magnifiquement mélangées, à découvrir comme Terra Maya que je trouve sublime également, Je possède les deux.

Beautiful! Soft peppery clove vanilla, georgeous but a word of advice....clove is tricky in humid weather. Some how everything blend together beautifully in cold weather, soft but present, addictive cocoon and most of all elegant.

This is really nice. Bears a strong resemblance to By The Fireplace by Maison Margiela. A very woody slightly spiced, non sweet vanilla.

This one is in the style of Le Labo's Vanille 44, it is a gorgeous, woody vanilla with spices and earthy nuances. Seriously gorgeous stuff, its lowkey but so alluring, so classy, i would say this is a masculine vanilla for sophisticated gentlemen. Nissaba continues to impress me yet again.

Testing the sample on the skin right now. Wow! Raw, elegant, earthy vanilla. So dry and warm at the same time. An exercise in restraint: opulent ingredients, sober scent. Feels like a gourmand but the vanilla is so resinous and spicy that there's almost no sweetness. Liking it so far.

A pleasant tame modern spicy woody vanilla benzoin Let me start by saying that Grand Ile is lovely, monothematic like the rest of the line up, nicely blended, easy to wear etc. What it isn't though is what is advertised, anything resembling real vanilla, which to be fair enough at 160 euro per 100ml, wouldn't really make financial sense particularly for a small and up and coming brand like Nissaba. So this isn't retro patisserie style vanillin powder alla old school Guerlain and it definitely isn't the real unprocessed stuff either alla Vanille Havane or PdE Madagascar. This is really gently dose warm spice in the top, smoky slightly meaty guaiac (together with some structural ambers) in the base, dressed in vanillins to resemble something along the lines of Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee, dry, slightly clay like, quite sweet. Indeed i get quite some benzoin like material in the base giving a woodier, drier, caramel feeling. Personally i find it very safe and almost a bit forgettable. I really wish they committed to something more affable like they did in the stunning Provence. That being said, nothing wrong with it on a functional level, very pleasant.

Absolutely a must try for any vanilla lovers. Made me love peppery openings, although I really disliked them before. I did get compliments wearing this and I heard that this company donates a lot to charities (I have not checked this, but have been told during a perfume workshop), so if that’s true there are even more reasons to like it. I love the whole line, but this one is my fav.

It is a very nostalgic scent for me. For many many years my mom’s signature was YSL Opium, almost during my childhood, from late 80s. And Grande Ile smells exactly like her scarf and her hair at the end of the day. I am not saying that this perfume is similar but it reminds me of the dry down of Opium on her
