Vespri Esperidati

In my ongoing love affair with Nobile 1942, I bought this blind, as I wasn't able to get a sample of it anywhere. I based my purchase on the description, reviews, and the quality of everything I've experienced from this line, and SUCCESS! (Whew!) This fragrance has a beautiful bright citrus with a warm sophistication underneath. The citrus is more obvious at first, then it settles in with the other notes, and blends into a warmer version of citrus (if that makes sense?). I can definitely smell the amber and the sandalwood coming through. It is a lovely, subtle touch of summer beauty. It gives a delightfully clean, self-assured and positive feeling. For me this is the perfect warm summer day fragrance. This is my first and only citrus fragrance, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It smells and feels wonderful. It's more subtle than some other of the Nobile 1942 fragrances, but definitely there. It's sort of as "there" as it needs to be. A clean, fresh beauty.

Opening 10 minutes is masculine, but then Vespri Esperidati becomes increasingly beautiful and more unisex. Quality ingredients and a rather long lasting scent considering it is citrus dominant. A beautiful warm weather scent with projection in the first hour. Lovely!

It is another creation for the line of supreme fragrances (fragranza suprema) with EDP concentration, from this Italian House, that I love everyday more. It brings notes of Calabrian bergamot, Sicilian lemon, grapefruit and yellow Mandarin, in its output. The heart contains notes of Brazilian Orange, Indian jasmine, neroli, petitgrain from Paraguay, Artemisia (wormwood) and red berries. The base is composed of sandalwood, benzoin from Siam, oakmoss, amber wood and patchouli. The output is rich and essentially citric, typical from Italian scents that cherish the natural aspect of the citrus fruits such as lemon and bergamot. In fact, the bergamot is sovereign in this part of evolution. About 20 minutes after application, the heart gains another color and the green nuances of the start give place to the energy and vibration of the orange color, with great presence of petitgrain and a bitter touch of wormwood. And even with the passage of time, the scent remains the same, linear and without big surprises. From its base, my olfactory sense only feels a little of oakmoss. Furthermore, the fragrance exudes no longer like before, although still alive on the skin. I think it is a delicious scent for hot days. And I assure that can be also worn by men.

Bought it for me wife and ended up wearing it more than her, definitely wearable for men and beautiful scent. I've got 3 Nobile and love em all.

This, to me, leans unisex. And it's quite sharp. Too sharp for me. And too masculine. I get strong citrus with spices, full on aromatic with no sweetness. It's not horrible, but it's not for me.

A very ladylike cologne with a weighted richness that smells like good looks and appropriate manners. It's not a cheap cologne but it's at least good.It starts with a grapefruit blast, but soon jasmine mellows the citrus, with a leafy green sweetnes.
