Cor Serpentis

A very bizarre and truly alien scent: the combination of vetiver, black current and camphor works perfectly to convey the otherworldly jungle flora, growing under the harsh ultra-violet light of a distant star. Ozonic zap combined with the earthy vetiver and mineral base creates a sort of an “alien petrichor” feeling. Very beautiful and very weird. I am happy I bought it, but it is a pretty unusual scent.

Cor Serpentis delivers on its Dark Matter collection promise - this is genuinely otherworldly. The space/sci-fi theme isn't just marketing; the fragrance captures something cold, futuristic, and mineral that feels like it belongs on a distant planet rather than Earth. First impressions: A striking metallic/ozonic opening with a pronounced camphor and vetiver backbone. The mineral notes dominate - clean, almost medicinal, with an interesting soapy-aldehydic quality (probably comes from a tart blackcurrant-vetiver combo). The scent leans heavily into its cold, aromatic-camphoraceous character. Wearability: Despite the unconventional profile, this is surprisingly wearable - it sits closer to the skin rather than projecting aggressively. Longevity testing still in progress, but initial impressions are very positive. This is conceptual without being unwearable, which is exactly what I hoped for from Nos Republic.
